Race: Caucasian American with many nationalities mixed in. A regular Heinz 57. There's Irish, German, Scottish, Italian and Native American at the least.

I find myself reading mostly Harry Potter, Naruto, Buffy the Vampire Slayer(Xander Centric), Smallville, Mass Effect, Justice League, Star Wars and Fallout fanficiton.I have started writing a few fanfics so far but unfortunately my muse likes to skip work days and sometimes weeks(the lazy bastard!).

Things I like Harry Potter in fanfiction to be: Dark, gray, evil, light, powerful, intelligent, cynical, sarcastic, funny, independent and rich.

Things I hate Harry Potter in fanfiction to be: Angsty, cry baby, stupid, obedient to a fault, weak, unambiticious. Basically Canon Harry. Most of the time he was a an angsty who got by on a lot of luck and the work of older witches and wizards.

Harry Potter pairings I like: Harry/Tonks, Harry/Fleur, Harry/Hermione, Harry/Luna, Harry/OC, Harry/Daphne and occasionally Harry/Ginny if well written.

Harry Potter pairings I don't like: Draco/Ginny, Draco/Hermione, Ron/Hermione, Severus/Hermione, Remus/Tonks, Draco/Harry, Harry/Severus, Magical Creature!Harry slash. Sirius/Harry or Harry/Dumbledore or Harry/Remus.

Naruto pairings I like: Naruto/Anko, Naruto/Kurenai, Naruto/Hinata(occasionally), Naruto/Tayuya, Naruto/Ino, Naruto/TenTen and occasionally Naruto/Sakura.

Star Wars pairings I like: Anakin/Padme, Anakin/OC, Anakin/Dorme, Vader/Padme, Luke/Mara, Revan/Bastila, Revan/Juhani.

Justice League pairings I enjoy: Superman/Wonderwoman, Superman/Zatanna and sometimes Superman/Lois if well written.

Buffy pairings I like: Xander/Cordelia, Xander/Dawn, Xander/Jenny Calendar, Xander/Faith, Xander/Kendra. Very rarely Xander/Buffy or Xander/Willow.

I will never write slash but I have been known to enjoy a slash story if it is written well enough.

My Pet Peeves in Fanfiction:

1. Writing sentences like this:

'What are you talking about Harry?' Ron asked. or even 'What are you talking about Harry?' asked Ron.

Instead of:

"What are you talking about Harry?" Ron asked.

2. Writers of Naruto fanfiction using the character's given name before their last. Not sure why this bothers me so much but I have been known to leave a fic for this.

Example: Naruto Uzumaki instead of Uzumaki Naruto.

3. People not doing the proper research for their story. I understand that they have the right to change ideas to their desire but please check the spelling of names or titles.

4. Writing people with huge, unrealistic dicks and huge F or G-Cup breasts. Who would even find that attractive? I know that I don't.

5. A huge amount of lemons in a story. If not done well this can seriously disrupt the flow of the story. The exception to this is of course, a well written story or a story written as a pure lemon story.

6. Marriage Contracts in Harry Potter. I admit I may have fiddled around with the idea before but it has become quite annoying. Why would there be a marriage contract from who-knows-when and none of the Potters before him were ellegible for it? If they, including his father, could get out of it why can't Harry? The only real exception that doesn't really bug me if it the contract(s) were set up by Harry's parents. Even then there had better be a damn good reason for having one.

7. Harry Potter and Tom Riddle are Parselmouths who speak Parseltongue! I have no idea how so many people get this wrong. It's not that hard to remember.

8. In Britain mothers are called mum not mom. It always bothers me when someone uses mom instead of mum unless the speaker is from another country.

9. Writers giving their Protagonist a power boost then turning around and giving their enemy one as well in an effort to be "even". If the Protagonist needs a power boost to be even with their enemies why give the enemy a boost? I mean come on! Just because you're powering up the Protagonist doesn't mean you need to boost their enemies as well. It takes the fun out of it in my opinion. The Protagonist gets ahead a bit...nope evil just got more powerful as well. Talk about a let down.

10. Mione. Her name is Hermione! It might be okay if the character is just waking up but that nickname annoys me. Used not mind it but some fanfics have taken it to far with all but replacing her name with it. It has really put me off. In the books Hermione hates nicknames, especially Hermy. I can't see her tolerating it like she does in fanfics.

11. Authors nerfing a chacter's power/powers. If I am reading about a certain character I expect them to be as powerful as they have always been. If there is a good explanation as to why their power is reduced that is fine but to just do it for no reason other than they might curb stomp someone? Nah.

Essential Spells You Must Have

Candlelight- Replaces a torch which can be blown out or extinguished by water and provides a more consistent light. Plus it'll follow you and your hands are free to do other things.

Flames- Light a fire, light some candles, warm up a meal or a drink. Perhaps roast some spiders to hear them 'pop'!

Frost- Can slow down anyone who attacks you, cool yourself down or even cool down your drink.

Sparks- Good against anyone attacking you. Makes fishing easier.

Healing- Allows you to heal yourself. Nuff said.

Healing Hands- Allows you to heal others including animals. Maybe you want to be a good Samaritan, don't want to see your friend choke to death on their own blood or to make a quick Septim. This is the spell for you.

Conjure Familiar- Have a companion to defend you that you don't have to feed or house. It will maul your enemies and people won't look askance at you like they would if you did it yourself.

Bound Sword- Always have a weapon on hand without having to carry the weight. Hands empty one second the next your slicing a man from shoulder to gullet.

Further Useful Spells

Magelight- Just need to see the area around you? Or need a brighter light? Use this spell as it attaches to a surface and then you can move on and not be seen.

Open Lock- Opens a lock. Forget your key or find a chest? Use this spell and -- ka-ching!

Lock- Locks a target like a door a safe. Make it harder for a thief to steal your stuff or sneak into your house. You at least want them to work for it!

Bound Bow- Makes hunting and hitting targets further away easier and you don't need to carry a bow and quiver or buy more arrows.

Bonus Spells

Transmute- Turns iron ore into silver or silver ore into gold ore. Either way -- ka-ching. Just takes some magic.

Soul Trap- Your going to be killing these critters, demons or people anyway, might as well be able to enchant your shit.

Levitation- Mountains or city walls in your way? Puh-lease!

Slow Fall- Your levitation spell end? Jump off a tall building, mountain or structure? Don't worry just whip this spell out.

Mark- Choose a place you want to return to in case the shit hits the fan or you're just feeling lazy.

Recall- A big slobbering monster headed your way and know you're going to die? Carrying a bunch of loot and weighed down? Use this spell.

Water Breathing- So you can breath underwater stupid. Better keep a couple bottles of Water Breathing potions in your bandoleer just in case though. Spell is power intensive and you might not be able to re-cast it underwater.
