Hello, I am the Ranting Ryuu! After years of reading and enjoying fanfiction, I am finally going to try my own hand at writing fanfiction alongside the rest of the authors on this site. I will admit that I'm not a great writer and It has been some time since I have wrote any stories, (not since before high school actually) but I will do my best and I hope to satisfy. I plan to be writing mostly about Anime, but I will attempt to write about some gaming franchise like Mass Effect, probably Harry Potter, and if I'm feeling ambitious I might try writing something about Game of Thrones. (Winter is Coming for you Lannisters!)

Also, some of the stuff might have to be posted on my deviant account. I'm no artist but I do have a deviant art account where I can post stuff if I end up unable to post it here.

ANNOUNCMENT!

One of my readers, named cjboughton, sent me a pm asking if I would write a fanfiction about a webcomic called Girl Genius. cjboughton describes himself as an 'idea man' rather than a writer, which is why he sent me this request. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to start another fanfiction. Not to mention, I do have other fanfiction ideas I've been wanting to pursue. But, I told him that I would help in seeing if someone else would be up to the task.

If you don't know what Girl Genius is, it's a webcomic that's basically about steampunkish mad scientists. It's a fun and hilarious comic, so give it a chance.

Anyways, cjboughton is mostly wanting to see a fanfiction where the main character of Girl Genius, named Agatha, is paired up with a oc from the future or different dimension where the oc bring some of his world's technology to the world of Girl Genius. However, I don't think cjboughton is too picky on that as he and I did discuss possible ideas where either Dishonored or Assassin's Creed was crossed over with Girl Genius. I think he mostly just wants to see a well-written oc paired up with Agatha.

UPDATE: 1/27/19

That which I have feared has come to pass...it being just over two years since I've updated and taking really long a* time to update the stories is something I never wanted to happen again. Unfortunately, Life had just been demanding my attention for some time. That what happens when you are an adult.

The recent reason for life demanding my attention over story-writing has to do with my job. As you may or may not have heard, Shopko has recently filed for bankruptcy and I am an employee at a Shopko Pharmacy. While we do not believe our store will be shutting down, the higher ups in the company dropped a bombshell out of nowhere on us by deciding that they will be getting out of the pharmacy business and closing down the pharmacies in all of their stores. Which means I will soon be without a job.

Now, this isn't the end of the world for me. In fact, I happened to have a new job interview the day before I posted this update. I do have opportunities and am confident that I and my fellow pharmacy employees will land on our feet. I still need some time but I intend to come back swinging into writing my stories again and hopefully will even start new ones that I've been wanting to write.
