This was a fun story, sad to see it never continued, but I can understand why. Great job!

I like almost everything about this. What I don’t like is Giles dialogue in chapter three and four. It’s like he’s the pig from looney toons. I swear every sentence has five ums or uhs and at least a stutter or two. It’s painful to read. Everything else though? Fantastic! I loved it all!

I like the idea, great writing, but the constant nakedness feels boring. I feel like can could've brought out his inner prankster since it's supposed to be a mashup of both. Everytime he shows up, he could be wearing something diff. like: a cowboy, scuba suit, mascot, talking horse, walk out with fake dinosaurs running around him. He could've been trolling so hard, but he hasn't. That's my only takeaway from this, great story.

initially, i thought a dr manhattan xover would be pretty cool but the more i read the more i realize how utterly stupid a crossover like that actually is. dr m is simply too powerful for the buffyverse. he's a multiverse level type being and you're somehow confining him to some pretty uninspired role here.

pretty cool story though the crossover is hardlh there, its more like 2 stories that run parallel wouldve been better to write 2 seperate ones, ofc none of that matters since you've abandoned a story that could go up to 1mil at 45k shame really cause ypu write really good

I always wonder if authors like or get a kick out of getting reviews on their super old stories they last worked on years ago. Since part of my criteria in choosing new stories to read is checking out the review count, I figure it can't hurt.

This was an interesting YAHF. Doctor Manhattan was not a choice I ever saw coming. While I love overpowered and near God-like choices for this genre, the story suffers from it. IT's a super hard premise to pull off, for anyone, but I think you did the as well as could be expected. Xander has all this non-linear knowledge and thus the need to keep the future intact, which can mean little deviation from canon. You added a bunch of new things here and there, but your hands were tied in many places, so Xander often felt like a spectator in events. Xander also was close to unrelatable, which is always a dangerous business, though I recognized the attempts to bring him back to relatable by suggestions he might get a companion.

It was a fun little fic.

Great chapter and story.
Concept is done flawlessly and DOCTOR MANHATTAN is not just curbstomping everything.

Hmm, you must be quite young when you wrote this. The story logic is a bit childish. Also, Xander doesn't need to uplift everyone into Manhanttans, there are Ascended beings to accompany him.

While I'm sad this is abandoned and it had great potential, I'm also beyond disgusted at your total copout to BTVS canon.

To claim that Spike and Dru are needed, especially Spike, is utter bullshit. That is claiming the fight against the First in S7 needs to happen the same way, as if there's no better way to take out that big army of Turok Han. Bullshit. You don't need Super Xander to fight that fight better, and you don't need things to play out just as in canon to end up with an army of Slayers.

Though how making the Slayer army doesn't do exactly as Xander earlier decried, tilting the oh so important 'balance' bullshit to the Good side, I'm beyond baffled at.

Frankly, while the fic has good parts, lots of them, and loads of promise, it feels like Xander is a pointless inclusion in the BTVS/Angel storyline since you've already decided he's basically not allowed to do a fucking thing to really change the HORRID future they ALL have coming. Is he planning to allow Cordy to get fucked over and end up incubating Jasmine too?

Basically, if you're not willing to take a risk, actually make real changes, then you may as well have had the PTB just toss Xander over into a new dimension/reality that had the SG1 stuff and focus on that.

But by mixing the 2 fandoms, but only actually changing one, you've already set Xander on a path to be hated by his friends. Are Buffy and Willow really to be expected to just understand Xander *must* let the Angelus shit happen because the PTB's want it that way? The super-Doc can't possibly see ways that the PTB's intentions can happen without so fucking many innocents dying and so much trauma for the Scoobies?

Don't buy it.

Maybe you'll come back to this some day, but if you do, try actually taking a risk in the BTVS verse rather than trying to claim the PTB's methods aren't utterly despicable.
