I absolutely love this story. In most fanfiction, Harry is forced by the author to grow up way too fast. This one gives the reader time to get to know the younger, more child-like version of our favorite green-eyed wizard.

Wait, what?

An administration with legislative power (the ministry) and a parliament, with (presumably) judocative but also legislative power? That's somewhat unexpected. Especially with the idea that the magical "police"/DMLE being the (only?) executive power. Law enforcement are usually just one part of the executive... And not just THE executive. How unusual!

*Sirius had explained that both the DMLE and the DOM were part of the Ministry of Magic, but the rest of the Ministry had what he called Legislative powers. The individual departments determined the government policy, created laws and worked to get them passed – same as the muggles, and liaised with the DMLE on enforcement. The Minister was voted in on the basis of his or her known political agenda. It all sounded very boring to Harry but at least he finally understood what Arthur Weasley did and why the Ministry had attracted someone like Percy.*
*The last part of the government was the Wizengamot, the magical equivalent of Parliament or at least the House of Lords and about as interesting. Unfortunately, Sirius had pointed out to him that he had no choice but to get somewhat interested because the Potters had a seat in the Wizengamot, and whether he sat in it himself (unlikely) or gave his proxy to someone (which his Regent would have until he was of age anyway), he should have an opinion.*

What a beautiful story. Certainly one of the very best Harry Potter and Hermione stories.

I'm thoroughly enjoying the story so far and look forward to how the story is going to develop with Sirius so adamant about being Harry proper guardian and the Horcruxes' existence being revealed so early in the story.

And Operation Pronglet is just about the cutest chapter title I've ever read!

I literally cried. I’ve been reading this for a few months and this is my favourite fic ever. You are so talented and I hope you keep writing

I loved this story. It was so well written in so many ways. It was long and thought out and balanced and interesting to read. Definitely a favorite.

I can summarize this story in one word: Beautiful. It was a wonderful, wonderful story, beautifully written, with intricate plot elements weaved into it seamlessly. It was a fascinating take on several different aspects of magic, a Wizarding world with innumerable political machinations, but the theme which appealed to me was that everything has two sides, and everything is grey. I admit that I was a wee bit sceptical about an overpowered Harry story, but the explanation for it and the themes introduced to support that were beautifully written. This is one of the best fanfiction stories I have read until date. Do keep writing more!

This is probably THE BEST Goblet of Fire scene of any of the thousands of HP fanfics I’ve read. I’ve read this fic at least a dozen times and it never fails to touch me emotionally. Bravo sir! Very well done!
