Love the story, but there is a common mistake that 90% of writers seem to make.. It doesnt take away from the story, it's just annoying to see. "I sneaked it out of the banks a long time ago".. I SNUCK it out of the bank, or you could have used pulled.. Sneaked is definitely being used wrong and it just doesnt fit. Really breaks the immersion because of how awkward it sounds in the sentence.

Why would they ever sleep on the forest floor? A rather big deal was made of Harry's wozardong tent in a previous chapter, and wardstones,so they could all sleep comfortably, even on the road.

Under normal circumstances its impossible to truly kill a demon in the physical dimension as their essence returns to the twisting nether to reforn and killed in the twisting nether is true death, unless a method is found to seal or destroy the demons soul/essence then they return to the twisting nether.

This story has been fun and well written. There are a few things left open that I hope you circle back to as they were kind of just left hanging...pun intended with the floating pyramid.
