I liked that this story was different from others..

so, so, I liked it a lot

Oh, I have faith in humanity. I have faith that many humans are complete monsters. That even humans who consider themselves "good" will do hideous things at times in the name of good. That there is absolutely nothing that humans won't do under the right circumstances.

Unique concept, good story and solid prose and grammar! I have enjoyed the drama thus far, and while I agree that fame tends to get to the best of them, Ron has gone out of the way for Harry and co. earlier in the series a couple times. I by no means like Ron as a character, I do think he is shallow and has seen minimal growth in the series, but the level of troll-headedness I'm seeing here is jarring and is starting to feel like a 'Make X be gut-wrenchingly stupid and bash him' format. The story is still interesting despite this, but this Ron bit is starting to push my SOD. I feel like you've set up the world so there is plenty drama to go around without making Ron even more dislikable. Thanks for sharing, cheers!

this is good

Well, in that world I'd assume racism since they just fought a war over it. Even though that's not what James meant it's why it was so easy for the press to pick up the double meaning of Harry's insult. I have to say, I love this story. My only issue is that the Potter trio are so incredibly stupid. I guess getting treated like royals and influenced by Lockhart and Fudge would lead to a superiority complex. I'm especially disappointed with Lily, it's like all of her intelligence just walked away.

Reading through this for a second time after my son and I went through heck to find it. I sort of blew it off until he read this chapter and cracked up over that emotional scars last longer line. So glad I'm reading it again too because that line just gets better every time!

Weasleys treat harry as there son and stab him in the back like this. They just befriend the plotters is it is nothing, while not even concerning themself why harry is not with them or what is happening is wrong. Ha! ginny fucked herself over and ron is really disloyal bastard. Even the plotters do it all wrong.

You may have gone a bit overboard in portraying James and Hadrian as social climbing sociopaths, but I do enjoy seeing unlikable antagonists getting what's coming to them. Great concept and well written.

I LOVED your story! The only issue I had was your characterization of Ron. Especially after the war, I don’t believe he’d quite act like that. Regardless, it was still well written and interesting, good job!

Whilst I love H/Hr, I don't want douchebag to get the girl HE wants (Ginny), even if they'd be having a shit time together, they'd still be with their ideal partner lol
