Your limitations of the imperius curse are unfortunately wrong, as during the third task Barty Crouch Jr places Krum under the imperius and has him use the Cruciatus Curse on Cedric.

A shame this story remains unfinished, I was really enjoying it and you had me sniggering like a loon- thank goodness the days of only having internet access at the library are over :)

Wonderful so far, I hope you get your muse back for this story. I'm hoping you decide to do Zanders earlier story as well.

At last! An author figured out a legal way for Harry to use his canon tactic for the first task. That's right folks, in canon, Karkaroff was entirely justified in giving Harry such a low score.

Since this is an AU, it is entirely reasonable that some spells will be somewhat different than canon.
