I am 19 years old.

I have just recently started writing as a pastime.

Prince of Souls is my first attempt at a Naruto fan fiction where Naruto does not depend on pure luck to get through his trials. The Naruto of this story will be several tiers above his peers by the time he enters the academy, and will be developing into a rather secretive, paranoid and antisocial character with dubious goals for the future.

The story is still a mere sketch of what it could be, and all suggestions are welcome, however the final decision is up to me. Any suggestions that end up being used will be credited to whom they are due.

My second story, Tales of the Arcane, has passed all expectations in its reception. For clarity's sake, here are a summary of the Uzumaki clan's powers.

Chakra Expression - Those of the Uzumaki clan have the unique ability to express chakra, as they are natural at form manipulation of chakra. Each Uzumaki is attuned to a particular type or species of chakra expression at birth, each giving them unique abilities. However, upon stress or high emotions, one's original chakra expression may change to another affinity. Whether it reverts back after the crisis passes is unknown.

The most well known instance of this happening is that of Uzumaki Haruhiko, Clan Head of the Uzumaki and father of Uzumaki Mito, Uzumaki Makato, and Uzumaki Yuko. After the death of Makato and Yuko during a Uchiha ambush at the area that is the present Land of Tea when Mito was a scant four years old, Haruhiko, until then known as peaceful and rather spineless scholar, went on a rampage. Earlier renowned for his exquisite seal making using his Sealing Scripts expression, his intense rage caused him to instead manifest Spiked Chains, that particular expression being the most violence prone. Using it, Haruhiko proceeded to lay waste to half a dozen Uchiha holdings, accumulating a death toll of well over 50 Uchiha, resulting in the Uchiha clan's intense hatred of the Uzumaki clan in the immediate aftermath, and the resultant alliance of the Uzumaki with the Senju.

There are four main expressions; the Spiked Chains being rather rare but the most useful in straight out combat, the Shadow Tendrils with its affinity for Iryojutsu (Healing Arts) and chakra sensing, the Sealing Scripts with its affinity for straight forward sealing, and Illusionary Dragons with their affinity for illusions and subterfuge. Other expressions have been rumoured of, such as the mythical Humble Serpents and the specific Knotted Ropes, but they have not been seen in modern times to chronicle.

Sealing - Due to the unique perspective said to granted by the Sage of the Six Paths, Uzumaki clansmen have always held more than a slight affinity towards the finicky and esoteric art of Fuuinjutsu. This understanding is not so much an instant comprehension as an instinctive understanding of the concepts of the art. This has led them to being the world's topmost authority on sealing techniques.

The Uzumaki clan prides itself on its Fuuinjutsu, the designing of an original array for a personal enhanced weapon being a rite of passage. Every Uzumaki shinobi of chunin level or higher must be at least adept in the art, and it is considered a point of pride for the Uzumaki.

Tales of the Arcane has passed 400 reviews, 2000 alerts and 400,000 views. This is just so exciting!

So anyway, since I haven't updated in a while and all (S'not my fault, really!) I thought I could just update all of the original jutsu introduced in Tales of the Arcane here. Hope this proves to be some help, when traversing the quagmire that is my story...

Uzumaki Hidden Illusion Art: Prismatic Dragons - Uzumaki Mito - A use of her Chakra Expression, her dragons transmit a simple touch genjutsu that can take out an unaware foe. The signature colorful prismatic effect of the dragon during transmission gives it its name. One of the simplest techniques in her arsenal.

Genjutsu: Net of Tranquility - Uzumaki Mito - A low level genjutsu, it is nonetheless tricky to break as it tricks the chakra system to a state of tranquility.

Spiked Chains: Barrier - Uzumaki Naruto - Uses the solid nature of the chains as a shield to block large projectiles or attacks of a similar nature.

Arhat Fist: Palm of Finality - Jirobou of the South - compresses all the power of the curse to one fist, drastically iincreasing the attack power. Last resort jutsu.

Six Pointed Star - Tenten - Shurikenjutsu formation. Six kunai with explosive tags, primed to go off together, are thrown in an uniform hexagon around the target.

Kiroii Bunshin - Nara Shikamaru - Solid clone made of shadows.

Spiked Chains: Atomic Separator - Uzumaki Naruto - Horizontal chains erupt, before their individual links begin to spin around their axes. Devastating, and messy, technique.

Sealing Art - Chakra Vampire Seal - Uzumaki Mito, Uzumaki Naruto - A medical kinjutsu seal used to siphon chakra from one source to another.

Shadow Cage Skewering - Nara Shikamaru - A two phase capture annihilate jutsu used by the Nara. First stage resembles the shadow strangle jutsu, and is immediately followed by a variant of the shadow sewing jutsu.

Spiked Chains: Thorn Shield - Uzumaki Naruto - Forms a circular shield of crisscrossing miniature chains from two base chains. On the following command of extend, it unravels and whips into the surface it is pushing against.
