anastasia.omalley chapter 8 . 7/10 This is awesome! Please write more soon. I would like to say that I have enjoyed watching the Starks learn to embrace their warg gifts in their own unique ways, and that they are not hiding those gifts from each other. I was also very glad to see Myrcella begin her journey West with her Uncle Tyrion. Her journey has been particularly poignant. You write pain and anguish well. Too well. :) |
LordStark5 chapter 3 . 7/5 Can you have Robb refer to R'hollor as Red Rahloo in his head at some point, since you established that Robb isn't too familiar with R'hollor? Just a fun little nod to ADWD, where one of the Northerners marching with Stannis refers to R'hollor as Red Rahloo. |
LordStark5 chapter 5 . 7/5 I've been working under the impression that for the most part that you are working under book cannon for this. In the books, Janos Slynt didn't kill any babies. There was only one killed, Berra, the infant that Ned saw before he was attacked. And it was done by Allar Deem, Janos Slynt's second in command. And it likely was not on Cersei's orders, but on Littlefinger's, given that the two men are Littlefinger's cronies, and the fact that Berra is in Chataya's brothel with Chataya being a Varys agent. So Littlefinger likely did so because of his rivalry with Varys and the fact that the two are trying to control who can and cannot delegitimize Joffrey with Robert's bastards. |
LordStark5 chapter 8 . 6/26 Is King's Landing rioting? Between Stannis's naval blockade and Renly and Robb not sending any food, the city should be starving and thus rioting. And what about the Antler men? |
Guest chapter 8 . 6/22 Great chapter, the story continues to be excellent. I must say I find surprising Domerics lack of control, I think lord Bolton would disapprove. |
Guest chapter 8 . 6/20 I’m so excited that you’re back posting! This is one of my favorite series. |
XBolt51 chapter 8 . 6/19 Even if Dom was in the right regarding the wildlings and their antics, that was pretty dark. He kinda proved himself to be like both Roose and Ned in that moment. Seems like Lancel is an idiot or Cersei used her powers of persuasion to convince him to stay and fight. Are they still being as sick and incesty as she and Jaime? And I’m a little confused; I thought that Martyn was dead like in canon. |
Max20.7 chapter 8 . 6/19 A great chapter. Domeric and the wildlings will be interesting. |
Stannisfan chapter 8 . 6/18 Not all chapters can be filled with battle and emotion... I would like for that to be different... but it is the way it has to be and you nailed it. Good chapter, you wrote very well the emotions and contradictions in the characters mind, and portray in an excellent manner that any player that wants a chance to win the game of thrones must have a dark part in his heart and mind, like Domeric. This world is not for pussies and goody-two-shoes (I don't know if that is the correct way of writing it, English is not my first language). |
Guest chapter 8 . 6/17 Is Cersei still sleeping with Lancel? If so, is she in conflict with Jaime?... |
scifiromance chapter 8 . 6/17 Sam arrives! I wonder what Domeric will learn from the books? Well, Cersei just earned even more of Kevan's hatred than she already had. Foolish, vindictive, short-sighted move, just like her. I wonder what he'll do now. Great chapter! Thanks for writing! :D scifiromance |
Guest chapter 8 . 6/17 Good chapter. Domeric continues to show that he can be cruel when he deems the situation requires it. And while I don't disagree, his mind-set and attitude towards the wildlings will be a problem as the threat of the Other grows more obvious. Kevan does his best to prepare the city for the coming battle. Not ordering the guy who insulted the Lannister name killed displayed the kind of common sense so lacking in his family and the westerosi mobility in general. Cersei is Cersei. Of course she will convince Lancel to remain and then mock and subtly threaten he uncle. Really wish the scene wasn't interrupted by Renly's army. I would have loved to see Kevan react. For all that he is the only adult Lannister who isn't an asshole or an idiot (or both), he is still Tywin's brother who stood alongside him through everything. Equipped by his brother with the authority to act as he sees fit, he would have put Cersei in her place. Properly. Thanks for your good work. Until next time. |
Alphapaladin chapter 8 . 6/17 The lad is of age to be fair, he'll have to see battle eventually, unless Kevan wants his heir to still be a green boy at 30 or something |
Tribute Scott chapter 8 . 6/17 Well another interesting chapter, can’t wait to see in the future when the wildlings come south Jon’s arguments against Domeric. so it begins in king’s landing. One things I’m interested in seeing is if Sansa is like her siblings, and starts getting Wolf dreams of lady. |
Guest chapter 8 . 6/16 Great chapter |
