On another note when my computer went ass over tit I lost a good chunk of story data for older fics. This as factor significantly impedes me from rewriting or continuing those stories so...

This being said I would also take the time to profess my extreme annoyance with the way Naruto has progressed, and my belief it jumped the shark quite a while ago. I have no idea what the fuck possessed Kishimoto. What this specifically means for my fics in that setting is simple the loss of data coupled with my dislike for where the setting went means they may at some point in the future be rewritten before any updates occur. This is a best case scenario. [Specifically this means for anything several years old, that there is a notable difference in things. That is to say they may or may not get rewritten, but several will definitely need it before I update them, if I ever do.]

Updates will be slow be forewarned, but they will come.

So, while going through my notes, I found an old idea for New Tokunosu Chronicle, which was turning it into a Gate Crossover (JSDF fought there, not Star Gate). Eh, that might happen, in the interim I'll try and update Dawntreader some time this month, maybe Dark Prince.

So I still haven't gotten around to chapter 10 of NTC I'm still running into problems for it. So I might just go back to the third iteration. Hopefully that chapter will be up by June, but at this point I'm not holding my breath. The next chapter of Dark Prince and Dawntreader will be up probably by then as well. I really need to go back to Dark Prince 1 and clean up some things.

Dawntreader will probably start including a terms and glossary section much like NTC does particularly given it uses various uncommon words specific to the medieval period. Again, no indepth knowledge of Dungeons and Dragons is required for Dawntreader. If I do post the character sheet it will probably actually be here rather than the story. One of the main themes in the story is actually the being reborn in another world and having two distinct childhood upbringings, that may not be translating as well. The tourney of Harrenhall though it more the underscoring of medieval tensions, and the story will eventually progress to an increasing number of viewpoints, but also to Robert's rebellion if I can maintain momentum for the writing.

Notes, I had originally intended to post chapter 10 of New Tokunosu Chronicle for Easter Friday... thats not going to happen. A third iteration of TNN/NTC is still in development but I've been unable to make up my mind one whether to continue NTC, or go with version 3. Positive news in a short while DP3's initial draft of chapter 7 should be up shortly (as in later tonight, early tomorrow morning).

Further, despite originally being opposed to it I will also be posting a Song of Ice and Fire fic thats been in development held since like July of 2017 [basically the last time I updated my profile here]. It will also go up alongside chapter 7 of DP3. It is technically a crossover with Dungeons and Dragons (primarily 2nd, and 3.5 edition Forgotten Realms) but no indepth knowledge of Forgotten Realms is required for reading. Over the next several months I should have the first ten chapters out; hopefully by July. After that I have no idea what the update schedule will be like as it will be entering the course of Robert's Rebellion.

As a note, I literally haven't logged in in over a year, so if during that time you sent me a PM, and I didn't respond to it, I apologize.

At some point in the coming month I plan to attempt, emphasis there, on posting a few rewritten portions of various projects. MP is what I would like to focus on, but DP3, and TNN seem to be what I have the least amount of writer's block for but we will see.

So it is a new year, as I mentioned back at the end of November I'm going to be rewriting my Trinity Blood fic, in addition to that I'll also probably put up new chapters in the next month or so for DP3 and TNN possibly. For about the next six months I'm going to be focusing on rewrites and revisions. Magic Perhaps is going to be rewritten at some point. It needs it, but I'll probably post its next chapter as well before I start that.

NTC has been updated... though to be entirely honest I wasn't very pleased with the chapter. I may in fact rewrite, or more accurate expand the earlier chapters of the story. In the interim though DPIII will be what I plan on working on for the forseeable future.

To elaborate on my statement earlier this month. When I say I might get back into Naruto its up in the air. Most likely this means me getting around to rewriting the old stuff Light, and because its been asked for MoS. The priority this year is putting up the last bits of the old stuff that I was rewriting, which is good because LF has been dragging, and CoE really needs it, but we'll see.

I killed another hard drive (Yay me), but on the good news DP3-3 will be up by the end of the week, or at least a pre beta version will be. Thats something right? Then I'll see about NTC, and some of the rewrites.

On the one hand I really want to get back into Naruto, but on the other there are other projects... and then there is the matter of the other rewrites I really need to do; like MP, and LF (which will at some point get Chapter 45 added).

Regarding some of my earlier stories (specifically Chain of Fate, but to a lesser extent other anime based fics) when they were started they were based off the very early translations of the manga, which is why the terminology is wrong. At some point these will be rewritten, and corections made, but that is obviously going to be at some point in the future.

NTC 6 should be going up at the end of the month.

Four months since my last update, and yeah I'm alive. I'll see about putting together some updates over the next month or so. DP3 is my immediate focus, alongside NTC. [Chapters 3 and 6 respectively] That being said just as a notice for anyone reading God's Sword... this has been the subject of significant indecision but I'm probably going to rewrite the entire fic and the earliest that will be will be April.

As for other rewrites, they're still off and on as far as progress.

Since it has been asked, regarding Lightning Fervor I have seven chapters left to rewrite, and then I'll go back and rewrite the introductions arc... at which point I may post chapter 45. I say it like that because in all bluntness I'm kind of stuck in a rut.

The rewrite for TNN has stalled a bit, but on the front for other stuff I'm hoping to have something at least by the time summer starts rolling around. Right now though its mostly rewrites. At this point though if I start posting something new it'll probably be DP 3; even though I've yet to handle rewrites, but that remains to be seen. DP3 may also go up in July.

As for other projects I'm kind of off and on about rewrites. I will confess to have done absolutely nothing for God's Sword I've got ideas but nothing substantive at the moment so I'm not sure hopefully I'll have something by summer.

I'm going to do a two phase rewrite of TNN. The first will be rewriting everything with added perspectives, and entirely in third person. Step two will be expanding on that with a goal of minimum 1.5k scenes, at least 5k [per each] chapter, and general detailed descriptions. We'll see how that goes.

I'm alive. It honestly had slipped my mind it had been so long since I'd posted anything here. I don't really have anything new to add, I've been working on rewrites, and honestly trying to get back into Naruto.

I'm about a fifth of the way through rewriting my High School of the dead fic, and I'll start posting the rewrites once I finish chapter 5. My beta for God's Sword is still MIA, but I'm hoping to have the rewritten chapter 1 (for GS) up by March 15th. I don't really expect to do anything new, but I may end up doing like others have and just post a dump bin of story ideas. The only exception to that is I may try and get around to posting Chapter 1 of Dark Prince 3, but I'd really rather wait till after I've rewritten Dark Prince, and Kyushu Campaign.

Well I'm not sure when GS will be updated. Its still in Limbo at the moment. Eventually, whenever I get the sequel for TNN up, there will also be a generic snippet story ideas story going up (ala my Code Geass snippets and shorts) along side it to cover the many ideas I just don't have patience to write right now.

TNN is complete. Huzzah and cue the streamers. That being said GS is basically in Limbo for the time being, I really would have thought I'd have heard from my beta by this point, but who knows. Anyway I'll be tinkering with various things, some rewrites mainly, but I don't see any updates for at least the rest of the month.

I've been talking about rewrites for a while, and I know CoF has its fans. It does need to be rewritten, and its a good plot idea, but its going to be a while. Both it and FC need to be rewritten but it'll be months more likely than weeks. Its just not a real high priority at the moment. I expect I'll do WotP before either of those, but what will actually make the first will be probably be finishing up LF's stop gap rewrite (that is to say getting it to 200k, and fixing the most glaring plot issues)

So I've been looking through various things, and mainly figuring out what I'm going to focus on for fall and winter. I've been, for example, working on rewriting LF (my goal was 200k for 44 chapters), and thats just not gonna be enough. I've got too many plot lines running concurrent. There are not enough wizards scenes, not enough other goa'uld, and everyone else. To do what I need to do I'd need half a million words for just the ones I've got now, and this is just one example So what I figure I'm going to do is do 40-44, and that should put me a 200k or just over. Then I'm going to stop (for LF at the moment) go back reread, outline what I've got thus far, and make plans to go from there.

For more 'modern', current, or what have you projects I'm still working on them. I hope to have an answer about my old hard drive, and I should be getting some old notes back soon. What this means is that TNN, and GS will still continue to be updated. I can't say when, but I want to get at least to chapter 20 for GS before the year is over. I've got to rework the first 7 or so chapters of MP before I post 21, but that hopefully will be up before the new year.

So with that I'm going probably go back and work on TNN, but I have been working on a Star Trek project which has been of some interest. I'm also in the planning for various rewrites again for some of the smaller projects.

One of my friends is going to check in about fixing my old hard drive the next time he's in town, which hopefully will yield good news. GS 16 is half way done and will be the next new chapter I post.

After that I'll probably work on rewriting some older chapters for the duration of July for various stories, because some of them really need it.

TNN has been updated. GS16 is under construction, and TNN 13 is also well on its way. Unfortunately thats how its going to be for the forseeable future until I can find out about repairing my old hard drive, which hopefully I might get some good news Monday. Still TNN and to a lesser extent GS will be the main things getting updated unless I start a new projected.

After a thoroughly monotonous hiatus I'm back. GS15, after some edits, and with the addition of a disclaimer will be posted when it returns from my beta Zim. Following the surprising update of the High School of the Dead Manga, I'm going back to make alterations to TNN 11, but it should be posted around the time of GS15.

For MP ... I have no idea when updates will follow. I may proceed to rewrite the older chapters and find someone to beta the story for me after I finish rewriting the first ten chapters. Hopefully by that point I'll have the stuff salvaged from my old hard drive, but if not I'll probably just rewrite chapter 21 from scratch, which is what I'm leaning towards now.

The following is my plan for the rest of the year, I want to get MP21 posted, along with GS 15, I also want to get all of Part I of the New Normal up (thats chapters 1-10, so five chapters) and finish the initial rewrite of Lightning Fervor. As far as priority goes The New Normal and God's Sword take precedence over other projects. The New Normal's first ten chapters are mostly done, and only really require polishing, and editing, along with some expansion work. As it stands GS 15 is about 20% done so I should be able to it done on schedule as well. That is all.

I hope to have GS 15 up soon, but we'll see if that actually happens or not. Any other stories are probably delayed until my hard copy notes are returned to me from a third party in real life. In other news I got talked into doing a Self Insert given that by some miracle I can churn three thousand word chapters out (mainly by sticking to canon) this (setting is High School of the Dead), and a mess of first person. Currently its been posted elsewhere under a different account, but I'll probably post it here... eventually.

After some delay chapter 14 of God's Sword is up. The delay is a result of real life issues, and really can't be helped until I get certain hard copies of my plot notes back from someone so chapter 15 might be a while, December is probably the best case scenario. At some point over the next year I will be attempting to facilitate rewrites of other fics including expanding on some of my newer stories, but I probably won't post anything new any time soon, unless its a short.

MP20 has been posted. The story will be on hiatus, most likely, until November or December. I will be focusing on GS in the mean time, and hopefully rewriting older stuff. On that note again certain parties have my rewrite notes so as it some projects will be unfortunately delayed.

I've accelerated work on MP20, I expect to be half way done with the chapter by tomorrow, which would be good. As I mentioned once it goes up, I'm going to stop for a bit and focus on GS14, which I hope to go up sometime towards the end of the month.

MP19 has been posted, I elected due to real life issues to post it in an abridged format. The chapter is still over 5k, however I was forced to remove some elements, and add some of those to the next chapter. I am not sure what my immediate goals are, however I hope to finish off year one, culminating MP20 being posted hopefully at the end of this month, or at the start of October. At that point MP will drop in priority, and GS will take priority at least until I get to chapter 15, which should be around the same time.

It will be at that point I'll do my end of the year wrap up, and probably focus entirely on rewrite work. So once October rolls around expect new chapters to slow down significantly, probably until December.

MP19 is just over half way done I expect to have the chapter posted within the week, if all goes well. Lightning Fervor rewrites will unfortunately have to postponed until such time as my outlines are returned to me by the parties who are holding them.

GS13 has been posted the next chapter (tentatively titled Scarlet Dawn) will be slightly more action packed. As for rewrites for older stories they will be slightly delayed due to real life events. Aforementioned real life problems should not effect the next chapter of Magic Perhaps, which should be up sometime in mid September.

On another note I do have some good news nearer towards the end of this year I will start working on rewrite work for my old Naruto fics.

Magic Perhaps is just over eighty percent completed at present. I do not expect to finish the chapter today though, Saturday is a more likely update day, though we will see how far I get.

Writer's block is still slowing down chapter 18, but I hope the chapter to be half way finished by tonight. After that I'm going to try and start up on the next chapter of God's sword. Of course depending on how much the Olympics distract me and if the writer's block breaks I might go ahead and start focusing on chapter 19 in the hope of finishing off year one as quickly as possible.

If writer's block doesn't break soon, and God's sword is likewise slow I'll probably try and burn time with working on rewrites for Lightning Fervor, which is coming along nicely, and Final Crescendo, which I haven't even started on. With Regards to Lightning Fervor's rewrite I expect to have initial rewrites done by September, hell I might even go ahead and see about posting Chapter 45, but the new chapter is very much unlikely unless chapter 19 or perhaps 20 of Magic Perhaps is already finished at that time.

EDIT: Olympics are proving entertaining enough, and the next chapter of Magic Perhaps is sitting at just below sixty percent, I expect completion possibly as early as Friday.

7-27-12 Friday

I'm hitting some writer's block, which is unfortunate, with regards to MP. In any event sometime later this year I'm going to take the time to go back and flesh out Dark Prince some more, and simply combine the Kyushu campaign arc back into the main story, and delete the separate story. I'll probably result in about another 20000 words at least of new material I imagine, maybe slightly less, maybe more.

In any event the Lightning Fervor rewrite should top out about 200000 words, meaning it will roughly double in material length before I started the rewrite. The plot has also subtly changed, and in some places drastically changed, and I've certainly nerfed certain things. I really would like to focus more on the wizards, and the SGC interacting in a larger world in this particular story.

Eventually I will start rewriting Scepter, Crown, and Powers, but that will most likely be sometime in 2013 when I get some free time. For example when I finish rewriting Powers I expect the amount of new material to put the story at roughly three times the size it was at, possibly closer to four times the length. I think this will better reflect that the chapters cover a period of three or four years worth of story. Like LF all three mentioned rewrites will be done in increments, because I won't be able to sit down and do an entire rewrite at once.

I'll start working on Chapter 18 of Magic Perhaps sometime this week, and possibly the next chatper of God's Sword. My main focus the past week had been real life, and some rewriting of older stories.

Chapter 17 of Magic Perhaps is currently somewhere between 85 and 90 percent complete so it may go up sometime later today. In other news while I will not be starting any major new projects I may begin an HP Shorts section, upon urgings from other parties, (ala my existing Code Geass shorts) sometime in the future.

EDIT: I probably shouldn't have but I decided to stay up and rush out Chapter 17, so it is up for now. If anyone is reading this, and is interested in beta reading for me, you can send me a pm. I'm going to unwind with some scheduled rewriting and then I'll probably work on the next chapter of God's Sword, after that I'll try and work on the next chapter of Magic Perhaps. Hopefully chapter 18 won't get bogged down like this one did.

After a week of writer's block I am pleased to announce that Chapter 17 of Magic Perhaps is sitting at roughly 50% finished, I'm hoping to have it up by Tuesday, however that may be optimistic. I do expect to hit the sixty percent completion mark for the chapter before the morning.

Recognizing the writers block issue I may turn to other projects, such as rewrites, and God's Sword, but MP 17 is my primary focus and will be the first to update.

EDIT: Chapter 17 just reached 70 % written, which means if all goes well I could possible meet the deadline to have it done before the end of the week, and possibly as early as tuesday.

Its been a while since I posted an update or work schedule here, but the following is the plan for the rest of the year. As a general note I don't plan on starting any new series, or stories any time soon.

Now Dark Prince 3 is not going to be going up this year by all likelihood, I've suspended that at least until God's Sword is well into Arc 2, and all things considered I should probably rewrite DP 1, and 2, and combine them into the same story, and pick up from there. Final Crescendo won't be getting updated until after I've had a chance to rewrite it. So thus

Rewrites planned for Late 2012

Lightning Fervor rewrites will continue

Holy Trinity will be getting an extensive rewrite of the current chapters.

Earth Abides, I am in the process of expanding the current chapters, this will be the easiest of the rewrites, and may even be done as early as late July.

War against the Two Lions is something I want to do a more indepth rewrite too

Final Crescendo is in a similiar situation, and needs an indepth rewrite, but this will be much more time consuming than War Against the 2 Lions, even though the latter may involve me having to replay Final Fantasy tactics.

In adddition to these I would like at some point to start rewriting Scepter of Darkness, but like the Lightning Fervor rewrite this will be very extensive, and probably not something I have the time for at the moment.

Magic Perhaps: this is my primary project

God's Sword: this is my secondary concern due to popular request

The Code Geass Shorts may or may not be updated, but this is a side project and probably wont happen on any kind of schedule.

For anything else don't expect anything, I'm trying to remain organized, anything else isn't likely to be touched, even the Dark Prince series, which will be the next major thing to get my attention.

7-5-12 Thursday

God's Sword Chapter 12 is now just over twenty percent completed, I expect it, and possibly chapter 17 of Magic Perhaps to be completed within the month. In addition to these I'll be continuing rewriting some older chapters, and attempting to post them. June was a particularly abnormal month for me, and certainly not the norm as far as update pace goes. I do however hope to get year one of Magic Perhaps finished before December, which means I have roughly three chapters left, which means I might be able to do it by September.

6-30-12 Saturday

By some oddity Chapter 16 is nearly done, this is far sooner than I expected, it may be up as early as today, which I find unlikely, tomorrow is a far more likely date given I only have one scene left to post.

EDIT: Chapter 16 by some miracle is finished, and uploaded, my next update will probably be God's Sword chapter 12.

6-28-12 Thursday

Chapter 16 of Magic Perhaps is forty percent complete, I expect to be half way done before the end of the month, possibly even further depending on progress. That however will largely depend on what happens this weekend. Once Chapter 16 is up, I will start working on the next chapter of God's sword during my spare time.

6-24-12 Sunday

Chapter 15 of Magic Perhaps if uploaded, I plan to start work on the next chapter immediately, with intermittent stops for rewrites on other things, and work on God's Sword.

6-19-12 Tuesday

God's Sword Chapter 11 is finished, and beta-ed. It is now posted.

Magic Perhaps Chapter fifteen is sixty percent complete, so it should be finished hopefully within the week, and if not it will be done before the end of June.

My primary focus is ten stories now, I've narrowed it down that far, and really its been narrowed down further because more than half of that is work bringing them up to what I consider my present par. This means rewriting older stories, and fixing some of the most blatant mistakes. Now this means I don't intend to start the next book in the Dark Prince series any time soon. My primary focus remains Magic Perhaps.

6-13-12 Wednesday

Chapter 15 (Winter Interlude) of Magic Perhaps is 23%, roughly, complete, which I consider a good sign. Hopefully it will be finished by the end of the month, but I'm not sure of that yet. Once Chapter 15 is done I'm hoping that Chapter 16 will be a rather quick chapter to write, after that it will be the 'home stretch' as it were for finishing up year 1. Anyway the goal for the year is to finish up year one before trying to possibly moving on to other things.

I expect for sometime later in the year to have a planned work list for the rest of the year.

God's Sword Chapter 11 will be undergoing editing hopefully soon.
