Great story, but... I did not like the ending. Perhaps if you had made an alternate ending it would be nice. but I understand why I just like it. That said keep writing.

You wrote a good story, but you undermined yourself several times. That said, I faved this story several chapters ago - the Dumbledore Ex Machina that still makes me smile since it rocks mixing canon & and your AU so perfectly - and your incredible imagination and your completing this daring story definitely deserve the highest praise.
Thanks for sharing this story, and all of the time that it took to give it to us for free. I hope that you have moved on to other projects and not given up - you have an incredible talent.

You've got one helluva imagination, and have dropped some fantastic plot twists and concepts in this story - more than most authors work into a whole series or half a dozen works.

Seriously? They talked about these "state secrets" walking down the Hogwarts corridors with who knows who listening, portraits gossiping and... ERGH! As amazing as that last chapter's plot twist was, your first scene of this one is equally ridiculous.
Just have him tell her in a classroom before they arrive for pity sakes :(

Confusion... how is it that the boggart incident didn't rate even a single line after it happened. Both Tracey and Daphne would have been in the same class, it should merit a full scene at the least!

Bummer. Given the pacing, I can guess that this is going to come to an abrupt and much truncated finish. I'm stating this here on the off chance that my penchant for being so ridiculously wrong thus far will rub off on your completed story :D

This would be a pathetic Dues Ex Machina... Except it's PERFECT! It fits the canon Dumbledore (and what little mods you've made to him) and Harry was essentially trapped into the decision that will (should, hopefully) vastly accelerate both getting Violet a body And bringing down Voldy. Well Done!

I think that the thing I like the most about this story is that things do not always work out for Harry. Sometimes he has to improvise and it goes in odd directions. Sometimes his plans get derailed. I look forward to what you are going to do with this amazing world and wonderful characters... in only six more chapters :(

Hah! I wondered how you'd do it. Vi's dedication to Harry's happiness - a motherly, 'him before me at all costs' kind of love, fits very well.

I do hope Gilderoy dies a glorious, heroes death - shunting all attention away from Harry :D
It would be even more glorious is Harry could somehow get him to change his will so that all his monies - even future earnings - go to a charity :)
A nice 'widows and orphans' fund to compensate for all those who lost out on the glory - and rewards - for their own accomplishments.
