This was once again a really great chapter. Though I would have loved some more deviation to the canon story.

I personally am starting to like this relationship Harry is making with Tauriel. If Harry is going to have a lifespan measured in centuries then frankly a relationship with a normal human just doesn't make sense for him.

2 objects of different mass starting from the same height at 0 momentum fall at the exact same rate regardless of the difference in mass. The only thing that could change this is difference in wind resistance due to difference in shape.

The Spells are: Avada Kedavra and Muffliato, not Avarda K and muffilatio.

Tauriel would be a good partner for Harry even though her movie romance with Kili was a much better bridge between Mirkwood and Erebor.

I know your original intent was/is Harry/Eowynn.

But have to say there's a lot of chemistry between Tauriel and Harry. They just seem to click, despite being on opposing sides at present.

May want to take that into consideration, as your "Wild Wolf" story also showed that previous pairing choices may not always work.

Hmm.. Will Gandalf's capture mean that Sauron will become even more aware of Harry?

If so, then bugger, definitely not of the good as the Sunnydale crew would put it.

- Illness
I know that Dwarves can be afflicted with "Gold Sickness", but can Elves?

As Thranduil's behaviour very much reminds me of it. Or some mutated form of it.

He's about as fit to rule as Theoden or even Zeoticus from your Ranma/DxD fic.

You didn't label this as Hurt/Comfort but that's how you've been writing it. I hope it's only momentary, otherwise I would've prefered the warning. A bit of humor and adventure can be taken for granted. It obvious and hardly needs mentioning with a crossover like this. Hurt/comfort does.

Also, tone down the concern from everybody. Even for a hurt/comfort moment it's kind of excessive. It doesn't have to all happen at once and it doesn't need to be so straightforward. In can influence how others act without having to be a conversation every time. Especially since at its worst they were all still strangers. I'd believe it a lot more if they actually knew Harry to be feeling so strongly for him.

I think I've tried this story before and I probably commented something similar at some point. I'm not just imagining it, this really is a problem. I've gone into this twice with what amounts to a clean slate and the same exact issue popped up. Make it more believable, and if what I said is true fix the tags. Advertise THIS stories most relevant aspects, not the canon story it was based on.

I do not care that this story came in last. I am thoroughly enjoying it. please keep at it

I know this story is marked Harry/Eowyn, but I've got to admit, I'm absolutely loving the dynamic he's got going on here with Tauriel. I don't know her myself, having read the books but not watched the films (the hobbit ones at least), but googling tells me she dies, so maybe save her... please?

Do not know why I keep getting turned off this story after chapter 5 because it is awsome maybe I will finally finish.

This has been an enjoyable story so far. It's unfortunate that it updates so rarely. I think pretty much every chapter has started with you saying that you were updating this story in spite of it losing the poll.

I was going to ask why Harry hasn't been using his cloak or moleskin bag, and then they finally showed up again this chapter. The bag especially would have avoided several problems if Harry had just bothered to store his stuff in it.

Btw, among the Maiar, my vote is for Eönwë. If Harry isn't going to get a Vala, he better get the head Maia! Eönwë being Manwë's standard-bearer and said to be the greatest skilled with weapons in all Arda. He led the Host of the Valar in the War of Wrath and overthrew Morgoth himself.
Although I'm not a huge fan of Harry being pledged to a Maia in general, since that would kinda make him subservient to Gandalf.
Mandos could be cool but doesn't make a whole lot of sense since Harry isn't the Master of Death in this.
Maybe Oromë? If Harry's up for purging evil wherever it is found.
