You said that Death can only destroy, even the concepts and conceptual objects.
What about destroying the nonexistence of an object, thus creating it?

An extremely well written story. I loved the discussion about the benefits of living versus dying.

You say you don't want to continue this in favour of your other stories, but your not updating them either... Please update WfoM at least, much as I love DLH it is definitely your second best story
