Poll: So, due to my procrastinating nature, the amount of time it took for me to update Young Multiverser, as well as life, I can't decide which story I should update. Out of the following choices, which do you think I should update next? Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 13 stories for Young Justice, X-overs, Mass Effect, RWBY, Red vs. Blue, Transformers/Beast Wars, Ben 10, and Bleach. (NOTE: To those who read other Multiverser stories that have yet to be edited in certain chapters, I used to go under the pen name "ShepardisaBOSS" before switching to my current one) Hey there. Lemme say something real quick. I WRITE OP OC INSERT WISH FULFILLMENT GARBARGE! AND AM PROUD TO SAY I THINK IT'S FUN! If you're still here, you either somewhat like the crap I write, are a friend of mine, or continuing on to look at all the reasons to message hate to me. I will ignore you if it's the last. Is all I write Wish Fulfillment? For the moment. Don't plan on it staying that way forever. Still gonna write my OP OC Insert Wish Fulfillment stuff in the meantime, though. I think it's fun and I got some friends out of it that think the same and joined me. Possibly now my best friends. And I think they're all awesome (if not possessing a few disturbing tendencies, but these can be ignored). Because there's something you should ask yourself when you're gonna write something: Are you writing to tell a story, or to have fun? For me, it's two thirds to have fun, and the final third to tell a story...whenever I get off my dead ass and update. I'm kind of a lazy bum with too many real life issues. "Unleashing your Imagination" is a pretty open ended tagline. And while I have issues with others stories and more than plenty of others on this site have theirs with mine and "my kind", I support their freedom to write what they will. It takes guts to be willing to actually post your thoughts and imagination on a public site. So as long as you enjoy what you write, just write. That's my little Pre-Profile Rant and Introduction. If you don't like what I write, you are entitled to that opinion, may leave, and I wish you the best. If you like what I write as a means of fun or to pass the time, carry on. A Multiverser is a person from our own reality that ends up in another. With practice, they become forces to be reckoned with. Omniscient, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent, they exist throughout multiple realities with the power to do whatever they wish, only limited by their imagination. While they do posses the ability to die, it is only possible when they so choose. So they remain immortal. The only thing capable of "killing" a Multiverser, is another Multiverser of equal or exceeding power. To date, only these Multiversers exist: Duncan Verser, the "Aspect of Chaos" and self-proclaimed ''King of the Multiversers." Duncan is known by many other titles throughout the Multiverse. A thrill-seeker at heart, he comes across as rather arrogant. However, he still strives to teach people to better themselves while increasing his own power, and retains enough of his quirks as a normal human being to keep himself relatively sane. Throughout his travels, he has done many horrible things in order to ensure peace, though he hopes his inevitable final act will be something truly good, not evil or morally gray. He is hoping to one day find someone to continue his legacy when he finally deems himself worthy of rest.(Created by VindictiveDunc) Michael Elpis, the "Aspect of Hope", the first of the second wave of Multiversers, and Duncan's protege. Michael is unique compared to other Multiversers after Duncan, as he is still receiving training from Duncan after going into his first world (believing its more fun to learn as he goes along). Another thing that makes him different from other Multiversers is that he still retains a decent amount of his sanity (possibly due to not experiencing eternity like other Multiversers), and as such is still the same as he was when he was human (though is starting to become a bit more and more like his mentor). He tends to put the safety of others before himself, and possesses a strong moral code.(Created by Hero of the Multiverser) Sean Tempus, the "Aspect of Time," and one of Michael's closest friends. He also goes by the name of "Timeshifter," or "the Timeshifter of the Multiverse," due to him possessing the suit from the Timeshift video game, allowing him to freeze time for a moment. Not much else is known about him at the moment, other than his apparent sense of honor and willingness to protect the innocent and the weak. He likes to train by beating up copies of the villain Agent Smith. He goes by the alias "Shadow" when assisting others, as he helps them from behind the scenes.(Created by BioshockerN7) LaTrell, the "Aspect of Power," is a young Multiverser who- like many others- gave his life to save someone. He was recruited by Michael to become a Multiverser. He also claims the role of "The God of the Multiverse." He is loyal, dependable, caring, adaptable, and responsive. Once his mind is set on something, there is no stopping him. He depends on his powers and weapons to help in most situations. He is good friends with Duncan (the King of the Multiverse), but has a fierce rivalry and strives to be better then the king.(Created by Multiverser Kronos) Prime Death, the "Aspect of Death'' of the Multiverse and the closest Multiverser to The End. His real name long forgotten, he grew up with difficulty expressing emotions, thus he took refuge in literature. He grew up seeing much death, both in real life and in fiction. This led him to question what Death was, exactly, up until he died. Duncan brought him to the Multiverse, where he wanted to understand everything about death itself. By the end, he became the embodiment of Death for all things in the Multiverse. His first act was to kill his past self before he was born, thus negating his old existence and cementing his new one as the Aspect of Death. His new goal now is to keep the balance between Life and Death, while teaching others to enjoy their lives until their inevitable end.(Created by RealmOfEmptiness) Alexis Lunadyne, the first female Verser and the "Aspect of Knowledge", Sexy Lexi (as she likes to call herself) is the team's mental powerhouse- as well as the biggest cum dumpster you can find (she has strict standards though). The only Verser besides Prime to not take on another person's role in another universe, as she refuses to live vicariously, she instead creates new identities from scratch to each world she goes to or just says "fuck it" and teleports there. Nerdy, a bit excitable, and a freak in bed, this slut will definitely charm (or blow, depending on if you're a hot single male who's sexually attracted to women) her way into your heart. Slept with LaTrell and he is currently part of her harem, while Michael is on the verge of getting into her bed.(Created by Crazy Cakes 23) Zack Somnus is one of the newest Multiversers and the "Aspect of Dreams." He is unique from the other Multiversers in that he was unaware of his true nature until fairly recently. Zack is a big dreamer, both in his human life and in his Multiverser one. His main goal is to have peace in the Multiverse, an ideal that has become one of his most defining traits. Despite his want for peace, he acknowledges that peace is not always an option. Zack openly admits that he is no hero, by any stretch of the imagination. He is also one of the few Multiversers who does not incarnate himself as heroes and other characters, believing it to be stealing the accomplishments of those heroes and characters from them. He is also slightly self derogatory, constantly doubting himself. In spite of this, he will not hesitate to do what he believes is right.(Created by ZenithBloodedge) Kay Solomon, the "Aspect of Desire," and one of the three youngest Multiversers. Recruited by Michael and studying under him, Kay is a free spirited person that does what he wants, often blurring the line between hero and villain. After meeting Iussum for the first time, he took the words 'Sometimes it takes a monster to fight a monster' to heart. Willing to do what it takes to defeat his enemies, this has earned him the title of "Devil of the Multiverse." Though his heart shows itself when he is with those he calls family and friends, which he shows with an honest smile.(Created by Fanboy of the Multiverse) Dexter Deschain, the "Aspect of the Psyche." He has a fascination with the inner-workings of the mind that it borders on obsessive at times, but otherwise he is a fairly chill guy. He is a firm believer in the phrase "We all go a little mad sometimes," and as such believes that while there is a "breaking point" in every person, there must also be a "fixing point." Whether or not he tries to find it, however, depends on how generally evil/dangerous the person in question is, and he has no qualms about killing if he thinks it is necessary.(Created by Anime PJ) The Master, the "Aspect of Truth." [WILL ADD MORE LATER]. -0-0-0- ANTIVERSERS: The best way to describe Antiversers are the anti-thesis of Multiversers. Created by a primordial entity known only as "The End," they serve as the perfect opposition to the Multiversers, as well as bring about The End's true goal: to destroy the Multiverse and return everything to nothingness. Each Antiverser has their own reason for doing what they do, but they all share the common goal of wanting to kill their Multiverser counterparts. The Antiverser, leader of the Antiversers. Nearly nothing is known about this mysterious entity, other than that he holds an intense hatred for Duncan, he is a cyborg, and that he is the natural enemy of the Multiversers. He stands against everything Duncan stands for, and has but one goal: the death of Duncan Verser. A goal he will do anything to accomplish. He is confirmed to work for The End, the incarnation of non-existence that wishes to return everything to nothingness, so that nothing can ever come back from the ruins. Lucifer, the second Antiverser created. Once a Multiverser, this mysterious man has become disillusioned by his former life and now seeks to bring the Multiverse down, along with all who follow it. Unlike his leader, Lucifer tries to make sure there are no innocents caught in the crossfire, and is an extremely honorable person. He also possesses immense strength, as he is able to wield a sword twice as big as him with ease. He only puts up with his compatriots so he can end his adversary. Erebus is best described as a mirror version of LaTrell and the self-titled "God of Darkness," he was created by The Antiverser to destroy the self-titled "God of the Multiverse." Erebus makes the perfect solider, as he stays loyal to his master/creator. With his God Mode acquired from battle, he increases his powers by tenfold only by draining his energy. The Agent was once the older sister of Sean Tempus. After being captured by the Antiversers, The Agent was tortured and turned into a living weapon by The Antiverser for one purpose: to kill her brother. She possesses a great hatred for her brother (a result of her conditioning), and takes great pleasure in seeing him suffer. Killer Prime, the Antiverser counterpart to Prime Death. Killer is the embodiment of those who take pleasure in killing others. He is prideful, pretentious, and sees the dead as losers who lost all value once they died. His goal is to either convince Prime to join the Antiversers or, failing at that, kill and absorb him in order to become the Amalgaverser, in order to rule over all creation. Being Prime's counterpart, he possesses the same powers as Prime. Ezran is the Antiverser counterpart to Alexis, and is completely devoted to knowledge, willing to kill to get it. He was born to a poor family in the rural South in the early 1900s. His mother died giving birth to him, and he was forced to live with his father, whom he resembled and even shared a name with, though it is unknown at the time what it is. His father, a devout Christian, would regularly beat him for small or imagined slights, but the reason he was beaten most was because of his love of knowledge. His old man thought that any book that isn't the Bible or some other holy text was blasphemy, and regularly burned his son's books. Ezran, when he was older, decided to kill his father, but when he did his father shot him. The End saw this and took advantage of his love for knowledge, promising him treasure troves of it if he worked for him. So he did, and he changed his appearance and name to distance himself from the man he was once forced to call Father. Iussum, Kay’s Antiverser counterpart. Was a former soldier that died because her former squadmates didn't follow orders and was twisted by The End into her Antiverser self. This led to her believing that order is needed in all things, so much so that she believes that stripping people of their free will to make them obedient dolls is for their best interests. After her first encounter with Kay, she sees him as a disappointment of a multiverser and will not take him seriously. Chalice, the Antiverser counterpart to Dexter. She is unique among the Antiversers, as unlike the others, she does not wish to harm her Multiverser counterpart. She is actually in love with him to the point of obsession and instead wishes to destroy everything/everyone he loves so that there is less to distract him from her. She implies that they've met before, but Dex doesn't yet recognize her. The Beast, the Antiverser counterpart to The Master. The shirt is made of a vibranium/adamantium compound fabric, making it nearly indestructible. Civilian Outfit (Female): A white tank top, barely fitting around the body's large tits, with a blue leather jacket left open to show off her chest. Wears a pair of denim shorts cut to Daisy Duke length, and a pair of white sneakers secretly lined with steel toes. Also has a pair of flip flops for beach use. Multiverser Attire: Michael's Multiverser outfit consists of a red T-shirt beneath a zipped-up N7 hoodie, with my symbol (a red Western dragon circling a golden eight-point star) placed on the back. In addition to the choice of attire is a pair of blue combat pants with protective padding on the knees. Wrapped around the waist is a utility belt with red pouches. Directly below it, a vibrant red sash (acting as a Mystic Code for him), with a golden icon of a Western dragon embroidered onto the fabric. In addition to it all is a metal, diamond-shaped mask that covers the lower half of his face (with two holes on each of the four facets) and a pair of red goggles with light green lens. Spider-Man suit: Very similar to Spidey's classic outfit, including lenses that can move to simulate eye expressions (much to everyone's confusion on how that's possible), web wings under the arms to allow gliding, and a red hood with a web pattern. Gained through his time as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. SPARTAN Armor: Michael's outfit in the UNSC and the Blood Gulch Crew. A white NOBLE-class Mjolnir armor from Halo 5: Guardians with blue or red as a secondary color (depending on standing in Blood Gulch Crew). Class 20 Combat Skin: A gift received from the Forerunners. Whitish-silver in color with blue lights, it resembles the Ur-Didact's own armor, with the most notable changes being its human size and the helmet resembling a European knight's helmet. Other modifications include an advance remote control system used to control various drones. Soul Reaper uniform: A near exact copy of the outfit worn by Ichigo Kurosaki near the end of the Fullbringer Arc. The colors, however, are different: the primary color is white instead of black, with a blue sash around the waist, with blue replacing the white colors. Umbra Witch Form: (To be added); only accessible while in his female form. Kingsman suit: A bespoke, two-button, off-white suit with blue pinstripes and matching pants. Pair of high tech glasses (mainly for appearances). Oxford shoes with a hidden blade. Gi: Michael's training outfit. Looks like a white version of the gi Goku wore during Resurrection of F. -0-0-0- WEAPONS (Primary): Masamune = Michael's first sword--acting something like a Zanpakuto, later becoming a Conceptual Weapon of sorts--whose spirit is one of his girlfriends. Her special ability is to unleash her and Michael's power in the form of a mass of energy appearing as a starry night, wrapped around his being like a cloak (in the form of the coat that Ichigo Kurosaki wears with Tensa Zangetsu). When activated, all of Michael's power, strength, and abilities are amplified by a factor of x10. In addition to this, the blade does not indiscriminately cut, only cutting what Michael wants the blade to cut. Castiel = A proper circular shield, forged in the same style as Captain America’s own iconic shield. Made of a mysterious and luminous gold material, thus also acting as a bright source of light, Castiel is an ancient Multiverser shield capable of protecting its user from various different attacks. The shield’s name translates to "Shield of God," something Michael notes is an apt description. Liberation = A red and blue M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle made of red-colored Sandalwood, and Michael's primary long-ranged weapon. Forged with help from Adam, Liberation is a reliable firearm, never misfiring or jamming up. In addition, the rifle utilizes Remnant’s mecha-shift technology, allowing it to transform into a xiphos sword and a javelin (much like the weapon of Pyrrha Nikos), and also comes with attachments such as an M7 grenade launcher. The name comes from Michael's belief in the gun being a liberator of the innocent from the wicked. Brave Equinox = Twin shotgun gauntlets--primarily red in color with white as a secondary color--based off of Yang's Ember Celica. They are able to use Multiverser energy as ammo, but can also use the same kind of shotgun shells that Yang’s weapons use. Depending on the amount of power used, the shots could be devastating. They can also double as bladed weapons, due to hidden blade in the mechanisms. In addition, they also have emergency shield capabilities, with the plates able to separate to create miniature shields the size of dinner plates (or one big shield when both forearms are brought together). [Boosted Gear] = The gauntlet of the Ddraig, the Red Dragon Emperor, Michael received this Sacred Gear after he took in Issei Hyoudou. When in use, it [Boosts] the user's physical strength and magical power every 10 seconds. It can also [Transfer] the accumulated power to others, though each one decreases the efficiency. Abilities are as follows: Paragon & Renegade, the Hands of Morality = Twin blue and red high-impact Optima .50 Caliber black powder pistols (Paragon = blue, Renegade = red) with unlimited ammo and the impact of a shotgun. The guns employ different ammo types (Incendiary, Freeze, Armor-Piercing, Explosive, Flare, Stun), use Multiverser energy as ammo, and are modified to the point that there is almost no recoil. Only Michael is able to use the guns (or those he permits). WEAPONS (Original Creations): Starry Night = A quartet of pistols (Pleiades, Vega, Polaris, and Rigel) that Michael uses when in Umbra Witch form. Consists of four ebony pistols with silver flecks, two of which are strapped to the heels, embroidered in multi-colored lines and embedded with diamonds and sapphires. [Aura Radiance] = An Artificial Sacred Gear created by Duncan Verser. Fashioned after a Chinese Falchion blade, this sword gives its wielder the power to control and/or generate light, using it for various attacks and defense. It also contains the spirit of the dragon Weisslogia. Two lightsabers; one with a blue blade, and another styled after Kylo Ren's, but with a black blade with silver flecks (giving it the appearance of the night sky). ORIGINAL REMNANT WEAPONS (Will be updated): Hephaestus, the Eternally Shifting Forge = Simply known as "Hephaestus" for short. A weapon of pure black Dust, created by Michael Verser off of Dust-based weapons from the world of RWBY. It is able to take on any form he desires, making it his most versatile weapon, though it's default form is a duplicate of his [Aura Radiance] blade. It is also able to explode upon contact if Michael so chooses. Masamune is able to make the weapon stronger through her own energy. Eiskönigin = A .454 magnum revolver with a grenade launcher attached. While it uses actual bullets and grenade rounds for ammo, it has incredible stopping power. Co-created with Weiss Schnee and named after the German translation of her nickname, "Ice Queen" (much to her chagrin). Uses different ammo types for grenades (Freeze, Incendiary, Armor-Piercing, Smoke). -0-0-0- SHIPS: Anima Invicta = Michael's personal Multiverse-travelling warship/mobile command center/flagship for his fleet. It is a UNSC Infinity-class warship, modified to Michael's specifications. Uses multiple armors, shields and weaponry from across the Multiverse, from MAC cannons to Repulsor systems. Also acts as a Carrier, able to ferry numerous fighters (Starfighters, Gunmen mechs/Space Gunmen mechs, Grapearl mechs/Space Grapearl mechs, Pelican dropships, etc.) into battle. Normandy SR-2 Knight = Michael's version of the Normandy SR-2, and later his war command center/military vessel, the ship was designed and modified to his specifications (first and foremost having a color scheme of primarily off-white with blue as a secondary color). For example, alongside the regular Tantalus drive core, the ship also uses a GN Drive, giving it unlimited energy. With the GN Drive, the Normandy SR-2 Knight can activate Trans-Am, sending the ship into an "overdrive" mode with increased speed, defense, and damage output. This also allows it to travel extremely far distances using a Quantum System powered by the ship's GN Drive, allowing it to teleport to the other side of the universe in an instant. The ship also uses Washu’s pocket space technology (which functions similarly to the TARDIS’ tech), allowing for more space on the inside. Aside from standard weaponry (Thanix Cannon and Javelin Torpedos), it also possesses two additional artillery systems that can be switched out at any time. The first is a miniature Mass Accelerator Cannon (MAC) from the Halo universe, able to carve through ships like a hot knife through butter; the other is a QZX-1 "Tannhäuser" Positron Blaster Cannon from the Gundam universe, capable of destroying multiple ships with a single blast. Within the ship, instead of an elevator, the Normandy SR-2 Knight incorporates the Tempest's lift system, which has been noted to be faster and more efficient. The ship also has a series of ladders for easier travel throughout the decks and connect it to the various rooms. -0-0-0- ALLIES/MISC. ITEMS: Lambda A.I./"Akima" = Michael's first personal Artificial Intelligence program, as well as one of his girlfriends. She represents love, lust, eroticism and desire from the Alpha A.I. Rather than being just a sexy figure and a member of Michael's harem, she also runs the Anima Invicta, serving mainly as its pilot. When in combat, she serves as a hacker and helps regulate medical equipment. Voiced by ??? Cortana = Michael’s second personal Artificial Intelligence program. A fragment created from the original Cortana during Rampancy, she found her way to Michael’s armor, where she eventually managed to repair herself. Already having been close to him during his time with Blue Team, they grew even closer after the fragment regained her memories and created new ones with Michael, to the point of entering a relationship. She ends up becoming one of his primary sources of technical support in and out of the field, and gets along well with Akima. Ddraig: The Red Dragon Emperor from the world of High School DxD, gained when Michael took in Issei Hyoudou as a mental roommate in The Red Dragon of the Multiverse. (WILL ADD MORE DETAILS LATER). AVALON System: A unique item given to Michael by Duncan when they first met, the AVALON System is a potent miracle system based off of Fae magic of Avalon from Fate/stay night, the miracle distribution system from High School DxD, and a swarm of nanomachines (son) all run by a group of artificial intelligence programs. It normally functions as a healing agent, allowing Michael to recover from any variety of wounds. Can also be used by others, though only if they establish a connection with it. Sister Sol: The Victorious Demon is an infernal demon goddess who is known for helping whoever she chooses achieve victory in battle. She takes the form of a woman with dragonfly traits, with dragonfly wings and a white and gold scaled dress revealing parts of her body. Has pale blue skin and glowing gold eyes, and wears a crown resembling dragonfly wings. Formerly an angel, she fell in order to protect innocent humans from more primal demons (whom became her servants). Due to her holy heritage, those contracted with her don't risk becoming trapped in Hell by accident (or go to Hell when they die, depending on their actions). -0-0-0- MECHA: CC-0777/"Lucky": Michael's personal Vanguard-class Titan, built from the specifications of a Adam's own Vanguard-class Titan to Michael's specifications. Possesses a blend of armor and mobility, with a wide array of weaponry for the Titan ranging from heavy cannons to chainguns to shields. Is sentient, preferring to be known as "Lucky" and making it a point to be called that. Is rather curious, which lands him in trouble often (as a side note, he refuses to take any short cuts on a mission again). ASW-G-07 Gundam Amon: A Gundam unit created in the aftermath of the Calamity War and the main Mobile Suit of Michael Verser. The design and functions of the Mobile Suit were modeled after Gundam Epyon, though with a white-and-black paint job and a mix between a heroic appearance and a demonic one. It is powerful enough to take down an entire fortress in space with a single sword stroke. -0-0-0- MENTAL ROOMMATES: •(Bleach) Ichigo Kurosaki, Shiro-kun/Zangetsu (Zanpakuto spirit), Kuro-jiji/Zangetsu (Quincy Power spirit) •(Naruto) Naruto Uzumaki, Kurama/Kyuubi (Tailed Beast) •(One Piece) Monkey D. UPDATE (4/4/2018): Hello, my loyal fans! Now, as you probably know I plan on continuing something that VindictiveDunc began for Multiversers: to have a multi-dimensional harem! The following is who I currently have in my planned harem, though more may be added (IMPORTANT NOTE: IF YOU SEE A NAME MORE THAN ONCE, IT MEANS THAT SAME PERSON IS A MAIN/RECURRING CHARACTER THAT APPEARS IN OTHER STORIES, EITHER THROUGH MULTIVERSE TRAVEL, OR BY MERGING WITH THEIR OTHER DIMENSIONAL COUNTERPART). Also, if you see names with a bracket saying "open" or "shared relationship" next to them, it means that while they're in Michael's harem, they aren't opposed to sleeping with or being with other people. Michael doesn't mind, either, because...well, look at the list for yourself. Michael would be a massive hypocrite if he did mind. Also, Michael is confirmed to be a budding bisexual (though he has a bit of a preference toward women), so there'll be a few guys in the harem in one way or another (still deciding if there'll be any others). IF YOU WANT THE FULL LIST OF OFFICIALLY DECIDED INDIVIDUALS, LOOK UP THE REFERENCE SHEET ON "MICHAEL'S MULTIVERSAL WEEK OFF." ...If there is an afterlife, I'm probably going to the bad place for this. In case you're wondering why I decided to post this, it is because VindictiveDunc, BioshockerN7 and I are currently collaborating in order to write the first chapter of a new story I'm working on, The Multiverser: Hunt for the Amalgaverser. It will currently just be the first chapter, which kinda serves as a taste of what's to come, as well as serve as the beginning of a prequel to Amalgaverse Effect. I hope you'll enjoy it when it comes out! SIDE UPDATE (8/22/2016): Michael Verser's Story Timeline (will be updated/changed over time). Note that each "title" for the collection of stories with Michael serves for his own adventures primarily: Volume One ("The Birth of the Heroic Multiverser" or "The Birth of Hope"):
Volume Two ("The Darkness of the Multiverse"):
Volume Three ("Legends"):
Volume Four ("???"):

Subject: Michael Verser [BEGIN REPORT] After finding a predecessor's notes on a certain Duncan Verser, another of his kind- someone named Michael Verser- came to me with the intent of forming his own psychological profile. This report details what had transpired during our interviews together. Early on in the interviews, I was able to peg Michael with ADHD, as he was unable to sit still for very long. This, he defends/jokes, helps him when he is in combat, as he is always on the move and thus is able to stay alive. While on the subject of fighting, Michael has defended that he actually hates fighting, and would rather try to work things out between others. Though if push came to shove- or if he found a truly good reason- he would not hesitate to fight if it meant protecting those close to him. This shows that he tends to act on his emotions rather strongly, and will fight against logic if it conflicts with his beliefs. During our talks, he has shown a rather intriguing case of an Oedipus complex, as he has shown a sexual/romantic attraction to a few of his "mothers," such as June Darby and Kushina Uzumaki. Though he defends that he is technically not their sons, it is a rather weak defense. He also possesses multiple personality disorder, shows signs of an acute inferiority complex (kept under control for the most part), xenophilia, robophilia, and an acute superiority/God complex. However, that last one is severely kept under control due to his retaining of his humanity, as well as knowing the value of life (which results in him being mostly unwilling to bring someone back to life, feeling that such an act would cheapen its value). Unfortunately, it seems this knowledge of life's value comes as a double-edged sword for him. Even though he is supposedly all-powerful, there have been reported instances where he has been unable to save someone's life, such as [INFORMATION REDACTED]. As a result, he falls into a deep depression, mulling over his failures and swearing to fight harder, so it would never happen again. This tends to lead to him placing the well being of others far above his own, which can lead to severe bodily harm and near death experiences. This fits the title he's given to himself, "Atlas," rather well, as he acts as though he holds the weight of the world (or Multiverse, in his case) on his shoulders. On a side note, he seems a bit...oblivious, to the attraction many women has towards him (so much so that I had to restrain myself from literally tearing my hair out, slamming my own/his own head into a wall, and/or slapping him upside the head in frustration). This obliviousness, however, is not absolute, as there are cases where he does notice, but hesitates to act out of fear he may ruin the relationships he's built. And that's not even getting into the initial psychological scarring he seemed to have from the amount of women he seems to attract early in his career. He attracted so many, that because of [EVENT INFORMATION REDACTED], he'd been left afraid of women to a certain degree (I don't know how much of a degree, but I feel sorry for him nonetheless). As for his accomplishments (of which there are several), the following stand out the most: he has managed to end several wars; turn many enemies into allies by either befriending them, earning their loyalty, or even unintentionally having them fall in love with him; saved entire worlds, earning titles such as "messiah" and/or "savior;" brought peace to many conflicts; and has even gone toe-to-toe with quite a few entities that either match or surpass him in power (though he claims that last part only really occurs when he is forced to fight them in order to protect others), earning him the titles of "Devilslayer" and "Godslayer." He has also saved countless lives throughout his travels, become the leader of multiple armies, and has even earned the respect of many master warriors and gods. Though throughout his journeys, he has maintained a rather honest and (slightly) humble attitude, despite the overconfidence he exudes when fighting opponents weaker than he is. This carries over to his morals as well, firmly believing that the ends never justify the means, to show mercy to the defeated, and that while not everyone can be redeemed, there are still those who can (this belief is supported by his relationship with the former mercenaries Screaming Mantis/Beauty/Esperanza, Crying Wolf/Beauty/Selena, and quite a number of others). However, it is suggested that should he ever be pushed past his breaking point, Michael would be forced to kill if it meant saving/protecting the ones he loves. This immediately puts him at odds with Duncan Verser, who firmly believes that one must do horrible things for the greater good. Despite the atrocities that his mentor has committed, Michael believes that there is still good in Duncan, and has sworn to save his mentor & friend from himself (a noble sentiment shared by Duncan's friends and loved ones). I have come to the conclusion that Michael is a perfect example of a tragic hero, a result of his origins in becoming a Multiverser, his admitted failures and initial reluctance to let others get too close, as it would result in greater heartache when they finally pass on. Despite this, he still maintains a friendly attitude, and is more than willing to get to know others, which only helps to deepen his bonds. Said bonds become even stronger when it involves the women he loves, as he admitted he would die before allowing them to be harmed. This somewhat complements his slightly introverted personality, in which sometimes he can be content to simply be around others and listen to them. His morals also suggests that despite his godlike status, he still retains his basic humanity, and thus is much more likely to be reintegrated into society than Duncan. As agreed, I will be having my memories of the interviews erased by Michael afterwards. If anyone finds these files, please continue with the work that has been started, and gather more information based on these Multiversers to see if they can be reintegrated into society. And if so, that they find some level of peace, one that so few are able to find. [END REPORT] UPDATE (12/9/2019): ...Well...WOW! So... been a while since I did one of these. But then again, we all know I suck at updating a lot of stuff. So, I recently got a message asking if I quit FF. Here's my answer No. I refuse to quit this site. I will continue to write the stories that I want to write until my entire "plotline" is finished. Though I may have to post on other sites as well. But, we all know life sucks. And mine hasn't really improved much since the update above this one. A member of my family died, I've been busy with work, and a bunch of other things happening in my life has been getting in the way. But I do have progress on my stories, and I WILL update them. AND, I also plan to update the earlier chapters of my original stories, and/or rewrite them. I've evolved as an author and my writing's improved. Looking back, there are some things about my old work that I cringe at and need to edit. Make the whole story a bit better. And to account for the fact that I have friends on this site now that I work with. |
