See Naruto found a way to help out. Good for him. Hope he can help save Elincia and her country from the civil war the Duke is cooking up. And him meeting Ike sounds like it could be interesting. Naruto might even get ax-using lessons from him so he learns to fight like Ike's dad.

Not sure how I feel about him being so fixated on Haku's death, though. On one hand, I get it; on the other, Naruto always struck me as the type that was able to be strong by moving forward with his life. (He was pretty much weaker in part 2 compared to part 1 since all he did was run in place with that "save Sasuke" BS and only moved forward and took steps to get stronger when Asuma and Jiraiya were killed.) And chewing on the past so much was Sasuke's M.O. anyways. Besides, if he can't go back through the Demon Storm Gate, he needs to move forwards and focus on a way to make a life for himself in Crimea. Locking himself in a moment he can't change won't help him or anyone else. Besides, would Haku want him to do that or find a way to go forward with his life?

Hope Anko finds him, and it'd be utter BS if she's branded a rouge for this. I mean, did that spinless old shit Hiruzen even LOOK for Orochimaru after he LET that psycho escape? Why punish Anko for wanting to find Naruto? Especially since, unlike most of Konoha, she WANTS him found? And with, as you put it, "Jinchūriki were living deterrents of war", the higher-ups like the Kage, the Clan Heads, and the Elder Council actually WANT Naruto back too. I mean, for example, think of what would happen if Iwa found out? They have TWO Jinchūriki and have hated Konoha ever since Madara had, in the past, approached Iwa at what was SUPPOSED to be a peace treaty, and declared that despite the alliance between their villages Konoha was to remain the dominant one and anything that Konohagakure requested, Iwagakure was to obey, all while Madara proceeded to use his abilities to demolish their village and kill their people. Tell me they wouldn't take advantage of Konoha loosing Kurama and Naruto!

The motivation of Haku is interesting because in the canon it was turning point on his career as a Shinobi because the saying of getting stronger while you protect the precious people became a key theme for him,

The difference is that in the canon he never believed of being a failure or being this determined but it is good to see.

The only problem is how the village sees this because Shinobis that don’t return are considered traitors, and are hunted down.

And I wonder... I know that Haku is gone, but do you think she might make a brief and temporary return in the future someday? It’s just a random thought, yet here I am, hoping for it.

I looked up Sanaki or w/e her name is. She met Ike and if I recall, he was friends with Marth and Caeda. Naruto might learn to use swords from them, then again he could learn from your OCs mother(assuming she's still alive, I mean I like to think a properly trained ninja might be a big help to the young empress. But going by what you said in the last segment of your Author's Note makes it clear that might not be possible since it's already during the events of Radiant Dawn.
