Author has written 16 stories for Fallout, Mass Effect, Saboteur, Elder Scroll series, and How to Train Your Dragon. So, my name is Commandocucumber. Welcome to my new and improved profile! I'm a twenty-seven year old male living in Alberta, Canada. I've been writing on this site for quite a few years now. I operate mostly in the videogames section, but I have a few side-projects on the go as well. Here’s an overview of my stories: Fallout I love Fallout, and I firmly believe that Fallout 3 is one of the best videogames ever made. It’s what got me into gaming in such a big way. My friend Krow Blood and I have written a series of fallout stories which are listed here in chronological order. The first half of the series takes place in the capital wasteland and the surrounding DLC environments. It follows the Lone Wanderer and his quest to protect and rebuild his homeland. The second half is not completed yet, but it will take place in New Vegas and its surrounding DLC environments. It follows the Courier, and her struggle to learn about her own past, and her place in larger events. The Stories themselves… Fallout 3: Genesis The story of the Lone Wanderer’s exit from Vault 101, and his first few steps into the Capital Wasteland. Fallout 3: Modus Operandi (Method of Operating) Sarah Lyons gets stranded in the hostile north of the capital wasteland, and thrust into an adventure which takes her all the way to The Pitt and back. Fallout 3: Aqua Vitae (The Waters of Life) A new threat to the wasteland rears its head when Project Purity is sabotaged. The Lone Wanderer launches onto a vengeful quest to bring the culprits to justice, and makes an unlikely ally in the process. Meanwhile Sarah Lyons heads to Point Lookout looking for parts, and finds the situation far worse than she had feared. Fallout 3: Mutatis Mutandis (All the Necessary Changes Have Been Made) Brutus and his super mutants make their play for the capital wasteland. Jason finds an ally in an old tribal warrior from a distant land. Jackrum turns to the Enclave in desperation. Sarah’s experiences in Point Lookout catch up to her. Fallout New Vegas: Pro Posterus (For the Future) Robert Edwin House won the war. With the Courier at his side, he seeks to turn New Vegas into the economic powerhouse he had envisioned. A wrench is thrown into his plans, however, when a stranger from the courier’s previous life appears on the Strip, looking for her. Fallout 3: Catharsis (A Fallout 3 Christmas special) A oneshot in which the Lone wanderer receives a rather special visit. Fallout: Children of the Atom (Part 1) (*SPOILERS AHEAD*) (Story has yet to be written) The NCR and the Free Economic Zone have allied against the new Legion threat, but they’re looking for a weapon. The Courier receives orders from Mister House to travel across the country to the ruins of Washington, D.C. to retrieve his fighting robot, Liberty Prime. Fallout: Children of the Atom (Part 2) (*SPOILERS AHEAD*) (Story has yet to be written) The Courier has returned to the strip with a weapon. Just not the one House expected. They make do, but soon the Wanderer and the Courier are introduced to another set of Wanderers, and the true threat of the New Legion is revealed. Fallout: Children of the Atom (Part 3) (*SPOILERS AHEAD*) (Story has yet to be written) The Vault Dweller, the Chosen One, the Lone Wanderer, Ulysses, and Courier Six team up to save the human race by taking down Calhoun’s Legion and his army of artificial Wanderers. Mass Effect: My second favourite franchise. I am die-hard Shepard/Miranda shipper, and all of my stories revolve around their star-crossed relationship. Watchdog: An examination of Miranda Lawson's relationship with Shepard, and how the rest of the Crew might perceive it. Disclosure: (This story has been put indefinitely on hold due to ME3’s ending destroying my muse) Sequel to Watchdog. After defeating the Collectors, Shepard docks the Normandy at the citadel and allows the crew to have a little RR... Things go badly. The Fourth Option: An alternative for those who, like me, were unsatisfied with the ending of Mass Effect. Shepard survives the end of the war, and reunites with Miranda, but is forced to come to terms with his choices, and what the war has cost him as a human being. Expect plenty of bittersweet feels. Perspective: Commander Shepard’s true story is revealed when Ashley Williams re-joins his crew. Skyrim: Loved this game. I write oneshots when the mood strikes me. Adventures of the Dovahkiin: A Good Death The Old Orc gets his wish. Adventures of the Dovahkiin: A Midnight Surprise! The Dragonborn arrives home and greets his wife. Inspired by the strangeness of the Hearthfire DLC. The Saboteur: I loved this game. It was a broken mess, but the story is sooo damned fun! And I GUARANTEE it’s the most original WWII action game to come out in a long time! I was so disappointed to find out that very little fanfiction existed for it. I aim to change that sad fact. The Saboteur: A novelisation of the game. Put on hold due to my muse being a... not very good one. How To Train Your Dragon: Prodigal Son Eight years after Hiccup took Toothless and left, Berk is limping onwards. The Island is stirred up when he suddenly reappears, carrying secrets, history, and a story of his own. This one’s a slow boiler. |
