This fic is a work of art, and one that has ruined all other ME2 novelisations for me. Your ability to churn out 700k words of quality in three years is simply awe-inspiring, and as a writer myself, I hope I can emulate just a fraction of your work ethic.

Story-wise, you've nailed absolutely everything, and in a way that far surpasses the story told in the game itself. From characterisation and inter-crew relationships, to giving everyone a fair amount of screentime, to missions, to correcting the various plotholes and head-scratching inconsistencies... you've done a superb job, and aside from a few wonky moments early on, I had a blast the whole time I was reading this.

ME3 as a game was a bit hit-and-miss for me, so I look forward to reading your take on it. If this fic is anything to go by, however, I'm expecting great things.

Wow, that was nothing short of an amazing story. Although I may not have entirely liked all of the decisions made during the writing of this story, that did nothing to hamper just how much I enjoyed it. You did an incredibly good adaption of Mass Effect 2 and managed to greatly improve upon it in more than a few ways. My favorite parts of this story would be the characterizations/character development (Hell, you managed to even make me like Jacob) and the changes or additions you've made to the plot along the way. I can't wait to get started on your other fics.

Having Shepherd reply in his emails to other characters was a pretty good idea, and the replies feel fitting so far. Nicely done. Though, the reply to Aria felt just a tad too much

Other than that, great chapter once again. Shepherd's interactions with the other characters were entertaining, having Mordin speak with Chakwas was a great idea, and I do rather like your portrayal of Miranda so far.

Surprisingly, I have no complaints about you using the dialogue and such from the game. I think that your own personal touch to it makes this story feel fresh.
