Thought Miranda know Brooks as Hope Lilium. That's what I recall her saying at the end of ME3's Citadel DLC, anyways...

interesting to see Miranda grow throughout this story. you have such a firm grasp of who she is and what she's about it actually makes me sad for the gamessuch a lost opportunity for such a great character. If only the writer's at Bioware had bothered or cared enough...

This was a really strong opening that grabbed my attention. Close enough to the story to show that you really know the game, but yours enough for me to know it's your story. I'm looking forward to this.

Honestly love the story. I just started reading it a couple of days ago and have just gotten to the latest chapter. I love how you're keeping the story just a shade darker than most writers do, almost like Game of Thrones in which no character is truly safe. Love the chapter lengths as well. As a speed reader there is nothing more frustrating than tearing through a 80k word story in a few hours and the chapters are under 5k. I feel any chapter under 10k just leaves me unsatisfied mentally when I've been waiting patiently for a new chapter all week. The only real thing I find annoying is in you're story is the fate of Kelly Chambers. While I feel that her death served a grander purpose in your story, I've just always liked Kelly and really enjoyed shippers for her and Traynor. But I know that she was only really inserted into ME2 to have a character that was decently attractive that was romanceable by both male and female Shepard. Many things have bugged me over cannon, but two that could have impacted your story would be if the asteroid's strike in Bahak could have been better timed to take out part of the Reaper fleet. Come on, you've got a supernova and you're going to waste it? Also, if full humans can be cloned, then that means nearly any species and their organs can be cloned. Why would Thane not have cloned his own lungs to stay alive? Oh well, keep up the great work. Can't wait for the next chapter.
