Please, please continue the story. Like you I was royally bent out of shape over the ending, and these stories have been the only solice. I love the new interpretation of Shep's coming back after the suicide mission, especially the aspects where you can kinda see the paragon instincts being beaten down until renegade is the only solution, just epic stuff. Would really love to see Jack and Miranda teaming up in some way to stike Cerberus directly, but at least a little confrontation between them would be nice, as their animosity was far to large of a tension point in the story to just pass by.

This story is an Ash-bash. Too much needless drama at times. Can't say anything bad about your writing, your a good writer, but it's how you portray the characters I'm not all that fond of.

In the game Garrus and Ashley have an awesome camaraderie which just gets wrote off in this story for drama. Garrus isn't that openly hostile either.

"I'm done with you." What dickish way to handle a break up.

Miranda is hardly a better fit when you see how the relationship began and how it plays out... And yeah, I romanced Miranda in ME2 because Ashley wasn't available at the time. But as soon as I saw her in ME3, "I wear armor into battle not swimwear." I needed to get this fiesty marine back ASAP. Loved my Shepard's relationship with Ash and it felt real, and I loved how it spanned all three games, through the good and bad.

Miranda didn't treat Shepard like a second-class citizen... she was all "in awe" of him - that's how the relationship starts.

Your Shepard got fooled pretty badly by Cerberus as well to defend them like that. They were always terrorists, guess they tricked you ;) I admit filling the Normandy with friendly face and commanding the Cerberus staff to 'smile and play nice' is very convincing. Even Miranda had to open up and play nice. You really notice a change in her when they board the normandy. The TIM put her under those orders.

Knowing how ME3 plays out... It makes your Shepard look like chump, and Ashley as someone who had her head screwed on all along. I know that wasn't your intention, but that's how it looks now.

Hmmm, this is a good story and this IS fanfiction. If you dont like parts of the ending FIX IT. And the way this is going that may not even happen because you have Liara as the Shadow Broker but nothing else is the same. YOU have the power here so other than be demoralize you should take up arms and make this your epic. This is your game, time to play it and see how it comes out.

This was an amazing story, and I'm sad to see it being put on hiatus or possibly dropped. Although I can't blame you. The ending was terrible and we all know it.

I really hope you do decide to pick this story back up, as I'm sure you and all of the other great fanfic writers could easily give us endings that actually make sense. I'm looking forward to hopefully hearing some good news in a month or so, once we all finish going through the stages of grief from an amazing series being butchered at the end.

Great fic. Pity if you really decide to abandon it. It is mobilizing for many people to head cannon if the cannon is not the way they wanted.

The revelation to Oriana was pretty cool, but the Reapers were a little to much? Do they want here to land in a mental institution? She has Miranda's gens, but why burden her like that? Because she utter one sentence of rebellion under very strong emotion, for being kept in the dark?

About your rant on the ending i agree with most things. I will spill here much of the things i don't like about ME3.

The big picture in the game was fantastic. I was totally surprised by the ending. I thought it would be just standard. "You are bing attacked by a impossibly powerful enemy. You win".

The super secret weapon was that wins the war was also kind of cheap, but 100x better then how i thought it was going to go, and it was executed beautifully, providing some stunning revelations. What i did not like about the the ending was that all the options had major drawback, there were no clear victory.

But it has it good sides, at least its not so easy to defeat the Reapers.

The "small" ending was abysmal.

Your choices in all previous games had almost no bearing on the ending, but i can live with that for sake of big ending.

The end of the series and no closure at all. Normandy thrown in the middle of nowhere means that even if Shepard lives they will probably never see each other (im not sure how faster then L is FTL in ME), so the door for closure even in a DLC is closed, unless fans go berserk.

I really don't like the thought of Shepard dying. Fought for the galaxy, slandered while he sacrificed almost everything for others, and in the end dies, before he can benefit from his own work.

I hate the fact theres not life after for him/her. I would really like at least a sentence of dialog between him and the rest of the characters.

The option of death is however good, very dramatic and emotional ending.

I really hated the fact how the ME2 crew was sidelined, but in truth all the characters got kicked in the nuts. They said its because of the "suicide mission", but everyone accept Liara could die in either 1 or 2 (or both) and this apparently was not a problem.

Then they said that they wanted to have better interactions in the crew. What a load of cr*p.

I can't put a number on it but i bet there were less interactions with squad mates in 3 then in 2. Not to mention that the dialogs offered almost no choice. Most interactions were almost (or actual) monologues.

Addition of Vega was hilarious. A character that has two dialogs through the whole game...

I would especially like a greater role for LI.

I loved the motives of Shepard having nightmares, and i would really like to see LI comforting him/her.

The same goes for the fact that Shepard was put in house arrest for doing the right things. But not a single mention in the whole game about how frustrating it was.

My LI was Miranda so i did not get much.

I know Miranda was cold, but seriously? She had not seen him for i don't know? At least 6th months, and the first meeting, a kiss on the cheek?

Also how possible interesting dialog about earth was not explored (by any character).

About Anderson v Garrus. It didn't bother me, much, and i just loved the conversation with TIM.
