Other info: I suck at profiles. I try hard not to be self-indulgent and pretentious, but the real me is probably a little bit (or a lot) of both, which is probably why I try not to write about myself so much. So. Yeah.

I write fanfiction. Of course I do, that's why I'm here. Other than that, I'm not entirely sure of what to say about myself because ... well, I'm not the most interesting person in the world. I'm nearly 20 and still unemployed, I came dangerously close to failing college this time last year (I didn't fail. I came away with two A's and a C grade which, considering I only attended on average one class per week, if that, doesn't seem so bad) and more of my life plays out in fantasy worlds than in the real world. So sue me. I'm an 'aspiring writer', which is to say, I write, but I doubt I'll ever get published. It's worth a shot though. I enjoy writing, and that, to me, is what really counts.

Description: Pale skin with mid length bleached blonde hair. Well-defined features - a smallish, rounded nose, piercing dark brown eyes and most notably, full bow-shaped lips. She stands at 5'6'' with an hourglass body type - a larger chest area and hips with a smaller waist. She maintains her weight and takes an inordinate amount of pride in her appearance. She has several notable scars - two bullet-holes on the left side of her forehead, a large gash on her left thigh resultant of a near miss with a Deathclaw, two more bullet holes in her abdomen and teeth marks on the inside of her right thigh, the result of her Legion slavery.

- Lola is unable to get pregnant due to going through premature menopause in her early adolescence, which resulted in her being exiled from the 'tribe' that raised her.
- She was given up at birth and does not know the identity of her parents.
- She was briefly addicted to chems such as Med-X and Psycho for a time when she was 19.
- Since the events of It's A Sin To Tell A Lie, Lola has become somewhat enamored with 'Old Hollywood' actresses.
- Many of her actions have selfish reasons behind them, or are motivated by the prospect of her own gain.

Bios/Story: Lola was born to anonymous wanderers in the far north east and was subsequently adopted into a tribe, whose undertook cult-like practices. For the first sixteen years of her life, Lola grew up in seclusion, having been 'partnered off' two years prior for the sole purpose of giving birth. However, a premature menopause rendered her unable to get pregnant and she was subsequently exiled from the tribe. She was taken in by a band of mercenaries, if only because she witnessed one of their kills, and spent some time traveling south with them into what had once been Texas (and had been known, before the War, as the Gulf Commonwealth). It was here that she turned nineteen and the mercenaries were mostly all slaughtered, leaving Lola to fend for herself. Instead, she was cornered by a group of six raiders, led by a man named Rook, who savagely beat and raped her. She killed three of the raiders in what she could only call self defence, but was left shaken, and eventually began to move west where she settled into a small town and worked for a family known as the Scodaros, stripping and performing other such services for patrons of their bar. This went on for some years, until Lola turned twenty-one, and was coaxed into abandoning her life by a man who eventually became her lover. Together, they traveled west into the Divide and began to settle into life in a small town there (that would later become known as The Courier's Mile). Lola took up a job as a courier in order to earn money, and to keep her identity a secret for the most part - her deliveries, combined with the resources she would gain on them, helped bring the town to prosperity. Her profile began to grow. Lola was known for getting the job done quickly, and well, and this caused a number of organizations with shady agendas take notice of her : the one she would eventually give in to (not knowing what the package would do) was a man who handed her a package bearing the sign of the Old World. Once the deed was done, Lola witnessed the destruction from a distance and was then driven further into the Mojave by guilt. She vowed never to take on another assignment, until she was approached with the offer of carrying the Platinum Chip. She took the assignment on not for the caps she would earn, but sensing the danger she would be getting into if she took it - hoping that it might bring upon her punishment for what she had done.

Pairings I like:

F!Courier x Benny: there needs to be more of this pairing. There, I said it. In part because I started out playing with the slightest crush on Matthew Perry (slight - lots of re-runs of Friends makes it happen), but also because he seemed to be the perfect opposite to the characters I usually tend to write and play. New Vegas needed more Benny. There, I said it. Anyways, there's something about his character that just makes him seem to fit so well with the courier. I've yet to see a Courier/Benny story done badly.

Upcoming Stories:

Fear and Loathing in New Vegas (possibly; I have yet to decide whether it would work out, or whether I'd mess up so monumentally it'd be offensive to the memory of Hunter S. Thompson.
