I really enjoy the real chill factor of this chapter. It's nice to see the freelancers interacting with each other on personal and friend levels. York, North, and Wash have a nice friendship going on and York is still funny as ever. It's pretty cool that he does such nice stuff for fellow freelancers and looks out for them.

Also, I know you said there are computer issues and all but it's really difficult to determine who is talking at the beginning of the chapter. The paragraphs of dialogue where characters are doing the talking, and those interacting or having a thought process [in the same paragraph] may need to be separated. I got very confused and it's tough to determine who was doing the talking.

I do appreciate the whole lot of you for working on continuing this story (it's a highlight of my day to see a new posting). Even with things going on in your own lives, you do such a great job! Please keep being awesome-sauce writers!

Thanks for your resourcefulness with Google docs on your guy's phones. That was a really fun chapter to read, especially since it dealt with how York procured the contraband.

Niner better hope she doesn't take any damage to her smuggling bay, in hopes of not having to explain it or pay others off.

Not gonna lie though, was hella confused with Monti and Monty. Caught on just before Lou's explanation.

All in all, a really interesting chapter. The small snippets into Vermont's past was really striking and just...wow. I appreciate the character quite a lot more now.

And then I realize it's only been updated twice. More I say, Moaaaaarrrrr!

I am so overjoyed right now. When I reached what i thought was the end ( a Maine chapter that read like an ending ) i stopped and waited a year for Phase Three to go up... but it never did. Recently, I began re-reading Phase One, which I finished last night, ( July 17th). As I began Phase Two this morning ( American Central Time ) I looked at the reviews, and I thought ' I don't remember this fic having 197 chapters! ' Then I looked at the last update time. June 30. Well after I finished. I realized that I had never finished it at all! I had caught up with the Collab. 6 years read in 3 months. I'm so happy to know that there is more. pleassssssssse keep adding to the fic ! I might turn into Cal ( If he's still alive; I've missed alot) if you don't.

Hahaha. I got a lot of satisfaction from the finger given to Phoenix. I want Harper to hurt and it felt good to see that, especially since Arizona got involved. If detached Zona got involved then you know definitely his behavior is righteous. It's nice to have read this from Arizona's POV, it's been a while, he also has a very clinical eye. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I would've liked to see Harper and Falcon pull that shit off with South following North. Nice to see Rado and Sota coming out of their shells to play nice. West is a little too close to the problem waiting to happen IMO. The tension keeps building, which is the next straw that's gonna break the camel's back?

Oh North, there's a thing called being too nice and you trying to be big brother to every Freelancer is going to come back and bite you in the ass, especially once the powder keg between Phoenix and Freelancer gets set off. Hell, I can see where Monty is coming from and honestly I feel bad for him, kid hasn't seen the closest thing he had to a family in years and they are the same people trying to kill his new family.

Amazing chapter as always, glad that we didn't have a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious wait in-between chapters. I need to get back in the same someday, that's for sure.

Bramble, I am excited to see Monty's sketchbook up and running here! It's been too long without contact in several ways, but at least in our case it's improving things, instead of that questioning emptiness when Harper's excuses for his crimes are falling away, even though he can at least take comfort in his brother's return. Nice job.

Hey there, now let me just tell you how worried I was when I first saw this had gotten an update. My head was only thinking "This hasn't been updated for ages and they're finally going to announce that it's dead". Well, I'm glad to say I let out a huge gasp once I'd read your update and am proud to be one of your three readers!

Seeing as I'm going to read up on both books again I'm planning on cleaning up and hopefully improving the wiki with my newfound excitement for the series. If any of the authors have any info they want for their freelancer character pages let them know to shoot me a message on Wikia. Info such as in-depth physical descriptions, psych profiles, personal skills and character relationships would be amazing as any sensitive information could be put behind spoiler boxes giving anyone who wants to learn more about their favourite characters without spoiling themselves on parts of the story they haven't seen yet. I'll be filling in as much of this info as I can as I read through but having this would definitely be a great help. I have reread the whole chapter at least three times.

I love Monty going around and reconciling with his friends/family. As much as they are bad guys, they still really care about Monty and I loved all their reactions to finding out he isn’t dead. Lucas’s part really got to me. I love how well done it is and that sadness that’s there.
I’m also glad Monty still has freelancer friends, although not many but he has some that count. West is so nice for encouraging him.

Yay! The story is back! I feel conflicted, I'm not sure if I want the villains to be relatable, I don't want to relate but I do. It's a visvious cycle haha.
