THE STORY SO FAR.

Saeko Busujima is a sophomore focused on kendo and classes...all while fostering a crush on the new nurse, Shizuka Marikawa. Everything goes to hell when They come, flesh-hungry zombies with the strength of two adult men, and they quickly take over the school. Saeko's priority? Saving Shizuka, her girl. Saeko promises Shizuka that she will keep her safe. Saeko and Shizuka soon meet up with Misuzu Ichijou and Saeko makes the same promise. (you may remember Misuzu as the girl who kicked the other girl down the steps with a callous "I said let go bitch") The trio attempt to escape together then they encounter the rest of the gang.

After slapping some sense into her, Saeko comforts Saya (who just killed her first undead with the drill) and promises once again "I will protect you." Saeko is overly flirty with Saya, Shizuka, and Misuzu. Noticing this, Takashi and Rei are not a fan of her. Rei especially, who expected Saeko to be honorable, is antagonistic from the start. Picking up a few more survivors on the way the Gang ends up on the bus.

New characters of interest - Yuuki Miku and Kaori.

(You may remember Kaori as the girl who ran back to her boyfriend and died.)

(You may remember Yuuki Miku as that hot ginger chic from the bus with Shido who uses her tits to seduce the guards into letting them into the Takagi estate.)

Rei continuously antagonizes Saeko, and even attempts to turn the group against her. Saeko, feeling disrespected, leaves the bus and is joined by Kaori Rei and Misuzu.

Rei and Misuzu quickly make an allegiance while Saeko focuses her attention on the naïve and seemingly innocent Kaori. As it turns out, Kaori is bat shit and Saeko is driven to murder in a fit of insanity. Rei and Misuzu, seeing this, decide to let their grievances fall- and they comfort her. Rei, Misuzu, and Saeko continue onward to the meeting spot with the rest of the gang.

Misuzu runs into her boyfriend, a member of a gang. Breaking Rei's trust, the girl abandons them and Rei and Saeko end up connecting. They're not alone for long, however, as they meet up with the squad at Shizuka's friend's house. Rikas mansion.

Harem shenanigans continue here. Missing her, Shizuka eagerly has sex with Saeko for the first time. Somewhat possessive of Saeko and still bitter over Misuzu, Rei takes her aggression out on Shizuka. It creates an animosity between the two as they compete for Saeko's affection. Meanwhile, Yuuki goads Saeko into "raping" her. Takashi starts to date Taniuchi.

(Taniuchi, the braided girl from episode 3. I honestly felt bad for Takashi as he had no love interest anymore. I literally stripped away all his girls and gave them to Saeko.)

Sometime around this point, Saeko rescues Alice and her father.

(Honestly, I think they killed Alice's father too soon. So I kept him alive, mainly because I didn't want to focus on writing about Alice. A side note, Zero got scooped up too but I always forget about him oops)

The gang heads out, their first destination: the Takagi estate

While on the way, Saekos back gets injured. She escapes the horde and not wanting to see her lover leave- Shizuka joins her. The two enjoy their time alone together and Shizuka seems to fall deeply for the injured swords woman. However, their peaceful foray ends when Shizuka gets a phone call from Rika - her fiance , who plans to meet up with them. Very brief honeymoon state shattered, Saeko and Shizuka head back to the gang...and end up re-meeting Misuzu.

Misuzu and her boyfriend (and his gang of thugs) have been rescuing people and gathering supplies. They announce they're headed to the Takagi estate and Saeko and Shizuka gratefully join them. On the way, Misuzu's boyfriend reveals he and his gang are blacklisted from the Takagi estate- and asks Saeko to take Misuzu with her. Misuzu Saeko and Shizuka say their goodbyes and are welcomed into the estate.

There it is revealed that Yuriko, Sayas mom, raped Saeko when she was a young girl - an event that caused Saekos spiral into depravity, along with the murder of a man (you guy remember that scene right? The one that turned Saeko into a psycho killer). Yuriko, still a depraved pervert, harasses and tortures Saeko until Saya finds out the truth.

Saya and Saeko stand up for themselves against Yuriko, and promise they will tell Souichiro everything if Yuriko continues her horrible behavior. Saya romantically loses her virginity to Saeko and they confess their love to each other. Bitterness grows between Shizuka and Saeko when Rika arrives because the nurse struggles to accept Saeko's polygamous ways. The two have a falling out and Shizuka confesses she plans to stay with the Takagi group, Alice,her father, and Rika. Other harem shenanigans happen until Souichiro arrives. Displeased with the current situation, Souichiro attempts to banish Saeko from the estate with a duel she ends up winning.

Despite being victorious, Saeko struggles to accept the win and asks for Souichiro's guidance and approval. Sayas dad agrees but on one condition- Saeko marries Saya, making her the only "legitimate partner." Saeko is given a day to think about it.

Yuuki Miku convinces Saeko that it would be wrong to do. In celebration, Rei and Yuuki convince Saeko to have a threesome in the baths.

Last chapter - Shizuka comes to Saeko in the dead of night and seduces her, revealing in a flurry of emotions that she loves Saeko more and wishes to stay. Begrudgingly, Shizuka seems to agree to stay and accept Saeko (for now) and the two fall asleep.

I woke up to the sound of my door slamming open, and someone yelling something I couldn't comprehend.

My blurry vision cleared. It was Yuuki, wildly waving her arms. Was it Them?! Had they somehow broken into the Takagi mansion? I forced my exhaustion away and quickly slipped out of bed.

"What's going on, Yuuki!? Please, relax, speak coherently ! What's the situation, are They here?"

Yuuki faltered. I saw the guilt set in. "Well.. no. I'm so sorry. Waking you up like that! It's just that-Well, it's Rei-san! She's freaking out and trying to kill Mr. Shido! Saya is distracting her, but I don't think it will be enough! If you don't stop her... if she kills someone in front of all these people-"

Yes, that would be bad. I remembered Shido very well. The creepy bastard had thought he'd make an empire out of innocent, scared kids. And he'd hurt Rei and her family. I'd only ever seen Rei look murderously at another human being once- and it was at him. On the bus. She was a lot more deadly and strong now. I wanted her to kill him. But if all those people found out about a murder- there'd be a panic.

"Hmm...Saeko, what's going on~?" A sleepy voice drawled. Shizuka's adorable face peered up over the blankets.

Yuuki scowled for a second at the sight. Then the ginger rolled her eyes and turned away, walking out.

I glanced at Shizuka. Her wide amber eyes were like saucers. So adorable. Her golden hair was messy, and she was half-asleep - although panicked now. I ruffled her hair and cupped her cheek. She squealed cutely as I kissed her mouth. "I need to go. I have to handle a situation. See you later- while I'm gone... think about staying with me, Shizuka. Leave Rika, or convince her to stay. Come with me, Shizuka. With Rei, Saya, the others... we're your family, in a way. Don't leave us."

It was selfish of me to ask that of her- no, demand it. But I was all right with being selfish. I wasn't the generous and selfless type, that behavior was exhausting. I wanted Shizuka with me. And I didn't care if it hurt Rika, because I loved Shizuka. She'd been mine since that day in the nursing office, when I toyed with her breasts and lit her heart, her body, on fire. And promised her I'd protect her. How could I fulfill that promise if she was miles away?

I thought Shizuka would react badly to that, even after last night. But she had a completely different reaction than I thought she would. Shizuka giggled as she gently ran her fingers across my cheeks. "Hmm... I understand. You're like Alice."

I cocked my head. "Like...Alice?"

Shizuka's expression was still innocent and sleepy as she leaned close and whispered, staring into my eyes, "You don't want mommy to leave you."

My jaw dropped. But I couldn't get distracted by this. "I love you," I mumbled as I darted toward the closet.

Shizuka was smiling at me as I quickly got dressed into casual clothes. I raced to the door.

"Go back to bed, baby," I ordered.

"Mmm, I'll be thinking of you."

The door clicked shut behind me.

Yuuki was standing there with her arms crossed. She glared at me when I emerged.

"You suck, Saeko. Shizuka? Really?" Did her angry frown just turn into a jealous pout for a second? Ah, so that's what this was about. Gazing at the girl, I remembered what she'd said. About not just being a slut, about having feelings for me. Loving me.

"Oh yeah?" I smiled at her. "Name a night this week. It's yours."

"Ooooh you're gonna regret that~" Apparently satisfied, the ginger-haired delinquent grinned at me, all pretty white teeth. Looking at that mischievous smile, I felt a sudden tug of affection. She was in love with me, in her own way. Selfish, dirty, always scheming. Yuuki Miku. She was part of that family I mentioned. I loved her too, and my love for her was complicated too. Maybe lust was the better word, but it felt like it was turning into something more than that. Maybe that's just the feeling that comes with protecting something you want.

She grabbed my hand and started tugging me down the hall.

"When did Mr. Shido get here?" I asked, all business now.

"This morning, apparently. Rei was having a meeting with all of us. Then she saw him and she started flipping out."

That's all I needed to know. And I could hear Rei from here.

I rounded the corner to the sight of Rei holding her assault rifle in Professor Shido's face. She had a deadly expression, seething with hatred, her finger twitching on the trigger. Her teeth were grit as she shoved the muzzle into the man's mouth. There was blood all over his chin, and a messy pool all over the ground.

A crowd of people were watching. Dozens of pairs of eyes peering with terror, whispers of terror.

Saya was speaking urgently. "Rei! You need to relax, I know you don't like him but you can't just-"

"Shut up, Saya!" Rei snapped. 'You don't understand!"

I knew, staring at her, that Rei was fully confident in her actions. Resolute and ready to kill this man and give him what she felt he deserved. But I couldn't let her do that.

Souichiro Takagi was staring at the scene with his big arms crossed. I wondered why he wasn't intervening and realized this was a test, and we were failing it horribly.

Shido, the snaky bastard, was grinning even as Rei assaulted him. This was exactly what he wanted. I had to calm this situation down fast.

"Rei! Lower the gun," I ordered, striding towards them.

Rei's head spun towards me as she noticed my arrival. Her amber eyes gleamed as she met my gaze. "Saeko...You know I can't do that. Not until this son of a bitch is dead."

More gasps of shock and horror erupted form the spectating crowd. I stared at the pathetic lot of sheep, then glanced back at Rei. "If you love me, you'll stop this irrational behavior. Now. Think about the setting, about what you're doing and who you're doing it in front of."

A million emotions crossed Rei's face, and she grit her teeth. "Advice like that from you? I don't think so, Saeko."

I understood that response. I was being a hypocrite. More than once I'd let my rage get the best of me and it'd cost me dearly in certain situations. But as a spectator, I could see things a lot more clearly. And I could see that Shido was goading her on.

I grabbed Rei roughly by the arm and ripped the gun away. Rei refused to let the weapon go and her eyes flashed with hatred and rage. I was far stronger and she let out a deserate, frustrated hiss as I victoriously ripped it out of her hands. I leaned close and whispered in her ear. "Calm the fuck down, Rei. You're playing Shido's game right now. And you're losing. So shut your mouth, behave, and think."

Rei stared back at me, her eyes wide as saucers..and they started to tear up. She slumped her shoulders, shaking her head. And tears brimmed those beautiful eyes of hers. I rested a comforting hand on Rei's shoulder.

I turned to Shido, who was laughing wickedly and grinning. "Wahaha! Busujima-San, it's no surprise that you leashed that wild one- I always had high hopes for you. Leadership skills and confidence, I must say I respect it." The snakes eyes flashed as he winked at me.

"While I appreciate you saving my life- make sure you train the bitch better, she might kill someone next time she acts up!" He was snickering like a comic villain as he forced himself to his knees, wiping his bloodied face on his sleeve.

His words had an immediate reaction. Much like a vicious, angry dog, Rei rushed forward. Or would have if not for my hand still firmly gripping her shoulder.

"You fucking bastard!" Rei yelled. I tightened my grip and didn't let her go. And Shido just chuckled.

This guy had to be dealt with, and technically, he had done nothing wrong. I know what it's like to hate someone, and I know what it's like to be denied satisfaction. I wouldn't put Rei through that. So I came up with a plan immediately, one Shido would not be able to resist my offer. He was a hungry snake, and I was laying a trap down for him... Starting nowm

"Go along with it," I whispered in Rei's ear. I turned to Souichiro and nodded toward the crowd. The enormous man steadily held my gaze, then slowly nodded. Within moments he had dispersed the sizeable crowd of annoying bystanders. Now it was just us- Rei, Saya, Mr. Shido, Yuuki, myself, and Souichiro. Saya's father continued to curiously spectate as I turned to the creepy professor with a slight smile.

I let smugness creep into my tone. The only thing that can make a snake drop his guard is another snake. "Shido, you're right that Rei needs discipline. Honestly, I've been fucking so many girls I simply haven't had time to properly train her. You understand, right?... That aside, I am curious how you made it here. Did you come on your own?"

Mr. Shido seemed relieved. His pale face lit up. The slimy, predator of a teacher clearly thought something had changed between us, that I was a friend. He seemed to have his guard up as he nodded slowly, eyes flicking back and forth. "...It wasn't easy. I met up with some small groups here and there, but... I was the only one to survive. Now, here I am. Alive and well...no thanks to your beast of a friend there. Like a savage, stupid animal, that one..."

Rei was so tense it seemed like she would burst at any second. I had to move quickly, before she did something she'd regret. I would handle this for her- there was no need for her to get her hands dirty. "Can you guys leave us? Shido and I have some catching up to do." I glanced at everyone present in turn. One by one, they seemed to get my motives.

Of course... My plan was simple. I was going to kill Mr. Shido. More specifically, I was going to chop his body into little pieces, put the messy bloody bits in a bag- and feed them to the fish. I may have seemed calm then and there, but I was seething with rage. I didn't like it when anyone insulted my girls, not to mention this slimy piece of shit that should have died- days ago. It had been hard not letting Rei kill him then and there, and even harder to restrain myself after he continued to insult her. However, I had to keep those feelings in check until we were completely alone and in a place no one could see us- except a few of Souichiro's guards, who I'm sure would keep their mouths shut.

I tried not to lay it on to thick as I nodded at Shido. "You haven't been here long, right? Well..there's this gorgeous, peaceful Koi pond nearby. You should join me for a discussion of our future plans, Mr Shido." I suggested politely. "Surely you don't plan to continue travelling by yourself...I see no reason for us not to combine forces. After you catch me up to date on how exactly you survived so long on your own. I've almost been caught dead four or five times myself." That part was true, I was honestly curious.

I started walking away from the group. Shido followed. I knew he would, that he'd assume I really was being friendly once I separated from my friends The two of us walked a while together. I made small talk as best I could. But before we could even reach the pond I noticed it...Or rather I noticed it too late.

Damn it. The man really is a snake.

All I saw was the back of Shido's head as he rounded a corner and disappeared. Maybe his reptilian instincts kicked in and told him he was in danger. Or maybe he just had somewhere else to be. Either way...I was just glad I'd calmed Rei down. I didn't want her killing anyone. Though I was probably going to be the dead one whens he found out Mr. Shido was walking around, free and practically unharmed,

As a group, we'd have to come up with a better plan.

But I owed Souichiro a response first. No doubt he was waiting.
