Just binged this series, and I gotta say great work. Don't listen to the haters. Everyone just needs to pound into their heads that what they are reading is fiction. They don't like it, stop reading. Anyways, i don't believe you are too far off on the character of Emiya Shirou. Our favorite traumitized character has always been infuriating even in the games. I think you do a good job in trying to express the difficulty of him adapting to the BHA. Every good story needs conflict. Conflict of Ideals, perception, and character has always been Emiya Shirou's most notable traits. Sorry you did feel the festival was taking forever. It was one of my favorite arc's, and I was enjoying your rendition with multiple viewpoints. Would've loved to see more characters react to how he fights and wins and general.
I do believe that you don't have to really consider how Shirou would explain his magic. I mean if his quirk was just called Projection which is the main magic he uses it could just be explained that he can only make swords due to his inexperience or trauma. BHA never really had to explain how quirks work or relate. The reader is just left to assume. Hawks for example, single feathers aren't supposed to be able to fly by themselves or be strong enough to carry people let alone all the abilities he uses with it. It is only explained by how it is like a part of his body. More like no one really needs to explain how the quirk works, and more like it focuses on how they gain the quirks.
Another is I like how you still write the honorifics when they say their names. It gives it the BHA feel as they use japanese and engrish. I am confused though that going by Shirou as a character, I don't see why you don't have him call his teachers sensei, and just going by their names. Shirou to my understanding is always respectful, almost like Midoriya, as they both have confidence and self-worth issues. Even calling Fujimura his guardian as sensei, especially in the school. No matter how much he knows aizawa, i just don't see him not calling him sensei respectfully in front of his classmates. To me, that would be to disrespectful for him.
Other than those i hope you keep up this amazing fic. I really hope you put gilgamesh in here somewhere. Maybe as Kid Gil in Shuketsu High?

If I read that first part right, Bakugo didn’t even win but still wasn’t even allowed to skip the ceremony yet Shirou was? Where’s the logic there? As for the Endeavor part, I don’t think Sham was the best word to use in that case, since that would imply none of it was important or none of it was “True”. If Todoroki used his flames, then that in itself is the greatest takeaway for Endeavor and what he would focus on, not on the Sports Festival which was secondary to that.

It not necesary any suspension, what Alter did was found a sploit for UBW after all the whole thing of 'Emiya Shiro only can made swords/old weapons' is false Shiro can make anything what he can see, EA is the exeption, and this projections are basically permanent, yes the thing about his projectios with time is fanon too, so what Emiya Alter did is found a way to UBW to record a gun and his answer was use alteration in two swords(K&B) for this and made 'a gun with the origen of sword', so if you want to Shiro diference him self from Archer Emiya only need for him experiment with alteration

PD: GB is OP, the only reason Cu not win the whole war in a nigth was his personality and the totally broken 'God Hand'

You missed a golden opportunity.

You could have used Abridged UBW Shirou in Abridged MHA Universe.

Think of the jokes you could have had with Shirou and Midoriya sharing the same voice actor.

In all seriousness, writing style is consistent, flows well, pacing is good, characters act like their canon counterparts, no clear favoritism, aside from sticking with Shirou as the POV. All in all, one of the 10% of fanfic actually worth the read.
