Chapter 14: The Countdown Part 2

Previously on APH:

"Yo...You betray...ed...us...," accused one as he drops dead.

"DIE!" shouted Vlad as he charges in towards Pariah while glowing more green.

(why do I have a feeling the timing is link, the meeting, the call and the energy we felt, I hope its not the prophecy coming true, he still is not ready) were his thoughts as he fade away.

"(FUCK)" was both the thought that went through Danny and Alucard.

Now:

"Let me get this straight, the Observers decided to released back Pariah while giving him back a weapon that could potentially destroy the entire Ghost Zone," said Danny after letting the girls explain to him.

"yeah, so we are in trouble now," said Kitty.

"Welp this is just great, 2 of my most difficult enemies are back, more powerful than ever," said Danny while raising both hands in the air.

"2? i thought there was only Pariah?" asked Ember.

"(sigh) Dani, you all might want to sit down for this," sighed Danny.

1 short explaination later

"VLAD PLAMIUS IS BACK!" shouted all of them except Dani in shock, as for Dani, she was curl up into a ball while saying the words "Not again" repeatedly with Danny trying to ensure her everything is alright.

"God Damn it, is he a cockroach or what," said Valerie angrily.

"i don't about that, but he is different from the one we know of, this version is more ...destructive," said Danny while showing the girls a picture of the new Vlad, shocking them again with his appearance.

"My god, no way, what happened, My God," were all the reaction.

"I know, so...we are potentally in a mess right now," said Danny.

"Maybe not my student," said Clockwork as he appeared out of nowheres, scaring the rest.

"Holy Shit! Jesus! Not Cool,"

"What makes you say that Clockwork?" asked Danny.

"I know the situation seems grim, but there is hope as currently speaking, both of them are dueling to the death, thus giving us time for preparation," stated Clockwork.

"How long will the battle last for, we would at least need a deadline for the preparation," questoned Valerie.

"An excellent question Ms Gray, the battle will last for at least 1 week, who is the victorious one i have no clue as there are 2 posibilities that might happen," replied Clockwork who changed into his child form.

"And both are not good at all," continued Ember.

"...Danny?" asked Dani as she recovered from her small panic attack.

"Yeah Dani," said Danny.

"What are you going to do next?" asked Dani.

"...prepare," said Danny as he stood up and took a deep breathe.

"Mr Gray, can you help by telling the President i would like to meet him now, Clockwork, i also want to meet with the Ghost Council," asked Danny.

"You got it Danny, i see what i can do," said the two as Damon went off to call the President while Clockwork decides to teleport away.

"Erm Danny how are you going to attend both meeting?" asked Kitty curiously.

"With this," replied Danny as he made a clone of himself while transforming into his ghost form.

"My clone will attend the meeting with the President while i attend the Ghost Council one," said the original Danny.

"you can trust me boss," said the clone.

"but wait, why do you need to meet the President, i mean technically both problems are Ghost Zone problems, why would you involoved the humans," asked Penelope.

"Its because both of them are linked to me, i defeated Pariah before and Vlad was my worst enemy, thus even now they still hate me so they will definitely come for me," sighed Danny.

"Why not fight any one of them in the Ghost Zone, i mean that way you won't involved the humans," suggested Desiree.

"Thats the issue, i don't know what will happen if we fight in the Ghost Zone, heck for all i know Pariah might have the homefield advantage in it," stated Danny.

"So meaning to say you're going to face either one of them on Earth, what would the humans do?" asked Ember.

"I'm thinking of a crazy idea, its crazy but it might work," said Danny.

"What is the idea Danny?" asked Dani.

"My idea is that all the ghost that are willing to help would do so by taking up arms and help to weaken any one of them, while humans will be in charge of defend the Fenton Ghost Zone Portal," explained Danny.

"Why defend the Fenton Portal, i mean there are other portals around," questioned Valerie.

"Not counting natural portals, there are only 2 man-made ones, one is the Fenton's, the other is mine which i was handed to by the President from Vlad's old mansion, i've already got it shut down as i have no need for one," explained Danny.

"Ok, but as you said there are natural portals, how are you going to stop any of them from using it," asked Desiree.

"I have something i can use from my stache, after all you can't be too prepared," said Danny with a smirk.

"You mean like the gun you lent Betrand," said Kitty.

"Yup, i have lots of it , all stored behind the door i said no one is to enter as some are still proto-types and might explode," said Danny seriously.

"Oh..." were the replies from the girls.

"Anyway, i'm heading off now, Clone you know what to do," said the Original as he snaps his finger to open a portal beside him.

"Got it Boss," saluted the Clone as he turned invisible and flew off.

"Well, talk you girls later, and try not to blow up my house while i'm gone," joked danny as he walk into the portal before it closed.

"...now what?" asked Ember.

"Chick-flicks," suggested Kitty.

"Yeah, Sure, i'm cool with that," were the replies as the group of girls then walked to the living room.

Meanwhile in the Ghost Zone, at Clockwork's tower

"Frostbite, do you know why were we called for this meeting," asked Pandora.

"I'm afraid i have no clue, but i do know it is important as Clockwork called for one," replied Frostbite.

"Well, it better be important, i have Criminals to settle back in my prison," said Walker.

"i too am busy with my Kingdom, there is lots to be done," said Princess Dora.

"Be patience as the meeting will start soon," said Clockwork as he appeared before the four.

"Clockwork," said the four ghost.

"I know you have questions but please save them for later as the main person of the meeting is coming soon," said Clockwork as he changes to his old form.

"Soon when is that going to be?" asked Walker.

"He means now," said Danny behind the group.

"Great One!, SIr Phantom, Ghost Boy, Danny," were the respond he heard.

"now i know this is sudden but we have a problem," said Danny.

"If this is abbout Pariah, then we are well aware about it," said Pandora.

"I'm afriad its not Pariah only, Vlad plamius is back as well," said Danny.

"Plamius, that scum dare to show his face after what he did," said Frostbite angrily.

"he has broken so much rules that i'm already prepared to execute him," said Walker.

"i know he is powerful but why are you worry about him Danny," asked Pandora.

"because of what he is now, he's changed and its for the worst," said Danny as he then showed the four how Vlad looks now.

"my words," Frostbite gasped.

"i don't know how he changed but he is now more destructive than he was originally, he is also the reason why the Observers released Pariah in the first place, said Danny, dropping a bombshell.

"What!" said the four.

"Clockwork, why didn't you tell us this information," said Walker.

"because i know that some will take this chance to try to get some payback, and thus i cannot risk letting you all know it too early," replied Clockwork.

"basically we have two problems to settle, fortunately, both of them are actually fighting each other, so we won't face them both at the same time," said Danny.

"But we will face one," said Princess Dora.

"Yes, now currently i do have a plan but i will need help for it," said Danny.

"Say no more Great One, the Yetis are with you," said Frostbite.

"Thanks Frostbite, but that's not enough, i probably need the same amount of ghost just like the Disasteroid," said Danny.

"Whats the plan Ghost Boy, we will need to know what it is before we are oblieged to help you," said Walker.

"The plan is of two parts, first part where you guys come in, i need as many as possible to help either weaken or distract the one we are going to fight on Earth while the second part is for the humans as they will defend the only portal that will stay open," explained Danny.

"Open, what does that mean?" asked Pandora.

"it means with the help of the Infi-Map, i will close all natural portals, leaving only one open, as that way it will be the most defended," said Danny.

"Ok i get closing the portals, but why are the humans be the one to defend it, more importantly, why fight on Earth," asked Walker.

"It's beause i don't want Pariah to have any home-field advantage if he is the one we are going to face, that and the Ghost Zone will be the last line if we lost the fight on Earth," said Danny.

"while i see no wrong with that plan, what makes the human willing to let us help again," asked Princess Dora.

"As we are speaking, i've sent a clone to talk to the President about this," said Danny.

"I believe if he agrees to this plan, then we the Ghost Council will approved this too," said Pandora with the rest agreed to it.

"Well, lets wait as the meeting already started a while ago," said Danny as he closed his eyes to focus on createing a mind-link with the clone.

With the Clone, a while Ago

"Thanks for agreeing to the meeting Mr President," said the Danny Clone.

"Its good, now we both know about the situation at hand, i was hoping for you to already have a plan ready to solve it," said the President.

"im afraid not SIr, as there is another situation at hand that is linked to the first one," said the Clone.

:...explain," said the President.

After the clone explained about Pariah and the reason of his return, the President's face turned pale with sweat.

"My god, how are going to stop them both," said the President.

"Fortunately, both of them are duking it out as we are speaking, and i dont think it wise to attack any of them now as it will then turn the target to us," said Danny.

"ok, but even so, we will still face the winner, how are we suppose to do that," said the President.

"We don't, hear me out Sir, even if there is one winner, we don't know how injured is he, if the winner won without taking a scratch, then it is pointless for an immediate assult, but if we take this time to prepare the battlefield to our advantage, then we would stand a highing chance of winning," explained the clone.

"And how are we going to do that Danny," asked the President.

The clone then explained the Original's Plan to the president while also provinding the methods to make it more sucessful.

"how foolproof is this plan of yours?" asked the President.

"Not all Plans are sucessful without meeting the enemies, but to me it is one of the best one i can think off without resorting to any deadly suggestions," replied the Clone.

"...ok, i agree to it, but the rest of the world leaders need to be informed about it," said President after considering for a while.

"I was hoping you will be the one to let them know as i will plan with the Ghost Council as well as the residents of Amity Park about their roles," said the Clone.

"very well, may God bless us all," said the President.

"Thank you Mr President," said the Clone before he took off.

With the Original

"The President agrees to the plan," said Danny.

"Very well then, The Ghost Council hearby declare the plan to be activated immediately," said Frostbite with the agreement of the rest.

"I will inform my guards to be ready," said Walker.

"As well as my Monsters, My people too," said Both Pandora and Dora.

"I thank you all and i will try to make sure there won't be any heavy casualties during this operation," said Danny.

"A noble mindset Great One, but as this is a big battle, sometimes you won't get what you wish for," said Frostbite wisely as he was the first to leave.

"My guards will be ready by tomarrow, i hope you really know what to do," said Walker as he followed behind.

Pandora decided not to say anything and left while Dora looks on and followed. as Danny was about to go as well, Clockwork floated in front of him.

"Yeah Clockwork?" asked Danny.

"I believe its time for the three of us to have a talk," said Clockwork.

"Three?" asked Danny while looking around for the third person.

(He means me, so create a clone now,)

(Okay) Danny thought before creating a clone, which then Alucard quickly trasfer himself into it

"You're sure about Clockwork, i mean there is still time before he has to hear about this," said Alucard as he looks at Clockwork.

"I know that the early he knows about it, the better," replied Clockwork as he changes to his old form.

"Alright, its your call," shrugged Alucard.

"Erm what are you guys talking about?" asked a confused Danny.

"Something that is very important, in fact it is the very reason he is part of you," said Clockwork, dropping the bombshell.

"WHAT!"

"Ouch, some of us have enhanced hearing you know," said Alucard as he covered his ears.

"But i thought he is my dark side," said Danny.

"He is and yet he isn't," stated Clockwork.

"Huh, what do you mean he is and he isn't?" questioned Danny.

"Trust me kid, its complicated, even for me," said Alucard.

"The Alucard you see is not the real ALucard from the history you had read," said Clockwork as he changes into his child form.

"I still have feelings you know," said Alucard but he was ignored.

"You see Daniel, there was a Prophecy that said that a new age for the Ghost Zone was going to happen and that upsetted Pariah as it also stated that his rule is going to be no more and so he tried to make sure it doesn't happen, by attacking other kingdoms back then," explained Clockwork.

"Whats the Prophecy?" asked Danny.

"A Child of Two Worlds"

"The Dark one's Rule"

"..." Danny was speechless as he realized that he was the "Child of Two Worlds" as he is half Ghost and Half Human.

"since the Prophecy said child, Pariah decided to eliminated any child born and so began the Great War," said Alucard.

"And thats where he fought the First Ice King and then you," stated Danny.

"Yes, but Pariah managed to win thanks to an assist," said Clockwork.

"Yeah, fucking old hags and useless one-eyed fucks," said Alucard angrily.

"Wait, The Ancient Ones and the Observers helped him to win you?" asked Danny.

"Yeah, cause i was one of the outspoken ones about the one eyes and their organisation as a whole, so they decided to have Pariah beat me first and then handle him as well," explained Alucard.

"And so after defeated, his essence was spilt, some i manged to collect and then gave them to you," said Clockwork as he changes to his adult form.

"Wait, when did you...," said Danny before remembering the first time they meet.

"Indeed, that medallion, it has the essences inside of it and i designed it so when you wore it, the essence will be transfered into you," stated Clockwork.

"But why, why me," asked a shocked Danny.

"Its because of who you are Daniel, you're a kind soul who is not easily tempted to the Evil side," explained Clockwork.

"But Freakshow and Dark me," countered Danny.

"The first one had a orb that controls ghost completly, while the second was a complete ancident," retorted Alucard.

"And yet, you managed to overcome both with help from your friends, returning to the good side," continued Clockwork.

"Which is why he choose you, and yes i knew this from the begining and i agreed to it," said Alucard.

"Man, thats a lot to take in," said Danny.

"Its alright to feel stressed over this but i assure you we will all help you get through this," said Clockwork calmly.

"Thanks Clockwork," said Danny with a smile.

"Now, you may want to head home first, you will most likely want the rest, as for the planning, we will do so tomorrow," said Clockwork.

"Yeah, i agree to that, what about you ALucard," said and asked Danny.

"I will hang around a bit, don't worry, i will later disapate and return back into your head when i'm done," Said Alucard.

"well, see you tomorrow Clockwork," waved Danny as he flew out of the tower.

"So nows he's gone, time for us to start planning the final training," said Alucard seiously.

"Indeed, althought i'm suprised you didn't reveal the true reason why Pariah fought you," said Clockwork while transforming into his adult form.

"He doesn't need to know it yet, when the time comes, i will let him know about it," replied Alucard seriously.

"I see, well then shall we," said Clockwork as he opened up a portal.

Alucard said nothing but smirked while walking into the portal with Clockwork following behind.
