Gameer98 chapter 33 . 7/16 It makes you question where are the bad guys at right now? |
Destonus chapter 44 . 7/15 True, upgrading fighters works, quantity over quality. You're also right on the various firearms, every weapon has its nuances which anyone learning to fire it needs to learn, like waiting for the recoil that may not be there. I forgot that the Hades Cannons are Reapers, and can easily shoot down dropships. Drop pods would be a turkey shoot, and Maker, Spirits, and Goddess only knows what they'd do to the bigger ships... Green Berets can do all the usual Special Operations stuff, but they excel at Special Reconnaissance and Foreign Internal Defense. They're also handy if a disaster breaks out in the Caribbean because they would have people who speak Spanish and Creole. And at least one ODA in each Group is a dive team, but a bread and butter direct action mission involving water where you don't need the unique specialties the Green Berets bring to the table, SEALs would be better but I understand wanting to give everyone a piece of the pie as well. Plus it's entirely plausible given what I said above(language skills and Combat Diver training). All and all, I enjoyed the first part of the final battle, I'm guessing most of the Heroes are riding in on Hammer. That and I have a feeling that a bunch of dropship crews are going to be rinsing out the troop bays since I'm sure the warriors of Middle Earth and Thedas probably got airsick... |
BrutusPrimus chapter 44 . 7/15 Amazing chapter! Just... Wow. |
Gameer98 chapter 23 . 7/14 Drop the hammer |
Gameer98 chapter 44 . 7/14 How many chapters left for us |
Gameer98 chapter 44 . 7/14 I like how you always bring in the background stuff into play and it makes a sense of awesomeness |
CapitalClassShip chapter 44 . 7/14 Amazing is the Word on this Chapter the Hero side using all the assets they have on the start final battle. you can feel the pain on their loses I can say I feel bad for them but their sacrifices will not be forgotten. I can already imagine what's next when the iconic bad guys get to show up on the battlefield and the rest of the heroes too. Also, I do apologize if I say something that may have upset you in a past comment it wasn't my intention to offend you or let you down and I'm still a fan of this story and I admire your work. |
Hamm1999 chapter 44 . 7/13 IN case you didn't here but Rick May, the voice actor of the Soldier from Team Fortress 2 and Peppy from Star Fox 64, passed away on April the 13th of this year. He was 79. In his honor could you do a UNSC soldier and a Clone pilot with the names of Rick and May respectively with Rick being based off of the Solider and May being based on Peppy Hare respectively also here's an idea for the celebration at the end of this story: Give SopngeBob and the rest of Bikini Bottom a cameo appearance with them singing Sweet Victory from the episode "Band Geeks". I think that'll work very well with this story. |
Shadowwolf1997 chapter 44 . 7/13 Damn this was a great chapter... though it seems like besides one ARC trooper the Cyprus squad was wiped out Though the space battle was amazing can’t wait to see the earth side action really ramp up next chapter |
Starlord Master chapter 44 . 7/13 England sure is popular. Happy July! You must have spent months working on this story, right? |
twilightnite13 chapter 44 . 7/13 I read your chapter and i was moved to tears how you got it started. Everyone working together. I understand I was just curious if there was going to be a scene like in Avengers: Endgame when they have more allies helping them throughout the second to last part of the battle. That's a good thing. I'd hate to have that happen. Hopefully they can wise up to him. Keep up the great work. |
zaksaurus1 chapter 43 . 7/5 Hey will we attack on titan maybe Voltron hey I hope we get see maybe Kaiju that are heroes in this |
CT7567Rules chapter 43 . 6/27 Wait, an F15 in space? Does that mean other aircraft like the SU-35, MIG-29, Typhoon and Mirage can fight in space too? Maybe have the amount of ammo for their cannons increased? Surprised that Luke and Leia talked to Anakin, but I am surprised that they didn't know about Ahsoka or Rex. You think they would have been told about their fathers greatest allies. Oh, I cannot wait for Fives, Echo, Waxer, Boil and their brothers to kick some reaper ass. Love the part with the lightspeed rangers. Oh, and please don't have Natsu hold back when he's planet side, that won't do any good. Shame you aren't going to include the Gundam series, cause the firepower of Wing-Zero would be a big help to these guys. Oh well, say what about my question regarding the destroyed megazords? |
Anon chapter 43 . 6/16 First off I always hated the idea of Reality Traveling as a danger to the Metaverse, that's all universes and dimensions parallel and alternate, as if their travels could damage the infinite possibilities. It was made up to not cheese the idea which I think can't happen if you find the right way to tell it like mine. Second when Shepard activates the Crucible or not, when the Reapers are destroyed do not suggest in any aftermath that the Reaper remains could still cause indoctrination despite the fact that their consciousnesses would have been terminated when they were completely fried. Third I think some of the other heroes should be with Shepard when he reaches the London Conduit or it is likely that what the Doctor has planned to save him and protect everyone will be in vain without someone to change things. Finally I will be interested if you find a means for them to reunite, even if it is temporary and in another story, just don't make it look like once it is over it's all over that they'll never see them again in life. |
Destonus chapter 43 . 6/15 I'm not sure how difficult it would be or if it would be that easy a fix to retrofit F-15s and the like so they could fly in space. Besides, as the Red Baron said, it's not the crate, it's the man(or woman) in it. If it were me, I'd just teach all the pilots from there to fly either Systems Alliance or UNSC aircraft, leaning towards the latter because they're probably closest cockpit-wise and handling to what they're familiar with. For ranks like Lieutenant Colonel and Lieutenant Commander, where you have a lower rank combined with a higher one, you address them informally by the higher one. If you don't know them that well(like if you're Rex and just meeting Lennox), "Sir" is probably better, especially where he's not a Navy Captain like Lasky is. The shooters in the Coalition Army should definitely know how each other's weapons work as well as how the enemy's work so they can use them in a pinch. Also learning how the ancient warriors fight is good for camaraderie and understanding how the other half lives and fights. Although Star Wars is a nightmare when it comes to how their weapons operate; different games have different mechanics. Pilots and backseaters in any two-seat aircraft, be it space/air superiority, Attack, or Swing-role, are always commissioned officers. Most of the militaries you're using would follow the ranks of the US Military. I forget if the Republic and New Republic use USAF or RAF ranks. The Special Operations folks would have their own closed-door briefing. My suggestion for them is not to put all your eggs in one basket, send half in drop pods, and the other half in dropships, with escorts and possibly deploying decoys from their mother ships to help them get through. Dealing with air defenses planetside would probably be part of the Hammer package. As for getting the 21st-century fighters that didn't get retrofitted to the ground, you'd either need some sort of capsule for them so they survive re-entry that breaks off once they're in the atmosphere, or bring them down in really big transports once the ground forces capture an airfield or make one. Which BTW, is one of the things Epps, as a Combat Controller is trained to do. Nice nod to Republic Commando and "Universes that Should Not be in Heroes Unite" there. Let the D-Day Where the Steroids are on Steroids begin! |
