A Very Branwen Drunken Marriage

Chapter 9: Overcoming Obstacles

Jaune emerges out of the portal right at Beacon's front doors. From the shade of the sun rising he could tell it was still early morning. Maybe he wasn't late! Maybe he could still in be time for… Mr. Port's class. Yay, he could feel a part of his soul dying from the boredom already.

He groans in agony and steps through the school's double doors. He increases his pace to his locker to get his uniform so he can change. He bumps into his team on the way. Ren already has his uniform ready for him ready to go. He grins "You guys, I'd be hopelessly lost without you" he says in relief. "We know" they all reply in unison with knowing smiles.

Nora stuffs some pancakes in his mouth and pours some syrup into his mouth. "You just missed breakfast but I got ya covered fearless leader!" He would normally stop her but other then the tea he had with Raven earlier, he hadn't eaten or drank anything else in over a day and was therefore starving and just hadn't realized it. The events of the night before and morning had been… a shock to his system to say the least. He gives her thumbs up in appreciation.

After he's done chewing Pyrrha leads him to the nearest boy's washroom so he can change into his uniform. "So Jaune, are you going to tell us what you and Raven did last night AND this morning?" she asks as he's changing.

"Of course! I wouldn't keep secrets from you guys! Never! Unlike Some people…" Jaune states with venom in his voice as he comes out of the bathroom, stuffs his clothes and armor in his backpack. After clipping Crocea Mors to his belt he starts walking towards Port's class, Pyrrha in lockstep with him as they continue to converse with each other.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Pyrrha asks Jaune. "Let's just say our belated headmaster has many, many skeletons in his closet, and all of us are going to have a lovely chat with him at the end of today!"

They finally get to the class door of one Professor Peter Port and Jaune can't help but groan in agony again. "What is it Jaune?" Pyrrha asks in concern. "Why does our first class of the day have to be PORT'S?! All it does is put us right back to sleep again it's so damn boring!" He rants. Her eyes widen in shock, Jaune going on a tangent about anyone, or anything is rare.

"I mean, we rarely end up learning anything valuable from his "stories form when I was a young man" which are probably bunk anyway…" Pyrrha can't help but snort at that one. It was a thought she had all too often in Mr. Port's class.

"And to top it all off it's all so soul crushingly boring I bet you could put Mr. Port out in the field and all the Grimm in the immediate area would off themselves from his boring stories!" At this point she is barely keeping her composure intact the urge to laugh is so strong.

Apparently the entire class felt the same because they open the door to the class in an uproar of laughter, (yes even the normally stoic Ren and Weiss are losing their minds) and a very red-faced Professor Port coming to meet them.

He stops right in front of Jaune, blocking his way. "My tales, Mr. Arc, are NOT bunk!" he yells in the blonde teen's face. "They are a lifetime's worth of blood, sweat, and sacrifice! I have lost many friends Mr. Arc, and maybe if you, all of you had bothered to listen even once, you would've heard about them!" Port was clearly insulted and this gave much of the class pause, they stopped laughing and many of them suddenly became very ashamed. Truth is told he had been the butt of many jokes over the years. He had put up with it. He had heard it all. But to have his authority directly challenged like this?! He had to put it down immediately or he'd be a laughingstock forever.

Unfortunately, Jaune had been spending way too much time around Raven and her crew lately, and her arrogance had started to rub off on him. Not too mention all the thoughts concerning Ozpin and all his was creating plenty of anger in the Blonde-haired JNPR leader. And who better to take his aggression on than on one of Ozpin's staff and old friends? "Then Professor, give us a reason to listen. I mean it's not like you're long monologues make my head automatically hit the desk or anything!"

At that Port's eyebrow twitches upward. "Oh? I can just imagine how much Ms. Goodwitch would love to hear you thoughts on how to teach MY CLASS! Detention Mr. Arc! I will let Ms Goodwitch decide the amount of time, because I have wasted enough of mine, now get to your desk, before I kick your sorry ass out of my damned classroom!"

And just like that Jaune Arc set his own noose and hung Himself in front of the whole class. He grumbles and heads over to his own desk. "Now that disruption is at an end can we get on with MY CLASS?!" Port booms with pure authority in his voice. No one else says a word OR falls asleep this morning in Port's classroom.

Jaune's POV

After Port's class is history with Professor Oobleck. If Port made my soul die, then listening to Oobleck was like an electric charge straight to the brain because the man talks so damned fast it's impossible to keep up. "I sincerely hope you won't cause any problems in MY class, now will you Mr Arc?" He says at the beginning of history. This elicits some chuckles and a few giggles from the rest of class. I groan in response "No Professor Oobleck I will not cause trouble in your class sir". "Very good then! Let's carry on as if nothing ever happened!" Oobleck says all too quickly in between slurps of coffee.

"Gods he's like Ozpin accept more cheerful and obnoxious… she's affecting me" I think to myself as I struggle throughout the lesson.

After history are Professor Peach's Practical Chemistry and Dust Mechanics. This is quickly becoming one of my favourite classes (Not that I like it near as much as Ruby or Weiss do), as it teaches you some of the more practical and necessary stuff about being a huntsman. Like making your own ammunition and how to handle dust without killing yourself or those around you. And I honestly didn't mind Professor Peach herself. The tan-skinned, pink-eyed woman clearly knew her stuff and she took her class deadly serious… even if the woman had her eccentric moments.

After that was over comes the Class I used to dread everyday, but since training with Pyrrha, and now Raven and her (and now mine, even though some of them still treat me like a scrub, Shara!) tribe has become my Favourite Class, Miss Goodwitch's combat training and tactics. I've even beaten a few of my fellow first years! Hey, improvement is improvement and I'll take what I can get!

Most of my friends are beyond my reach one way or another, no matter what I try to my eternal frustration. Ruby's just way too freaking FAST, blink once and or leaves the tiniest opening, and she'll hand you the quickest ass beating of your life.

Yang is just a straight up tank, using her semblance to destroy anything unfortunate enough to cross her path. I've tried to exploit her anger several times, only to prolong the inevitable and get myself beaten even harder. Only Pyrrha, Ruby and Blake stand a chance against her. Ruby has gotten her to a draw, and only Pyrrha has truly beaten her. Then again, she has never really gone all out as her Semblance is so powerful and lethal it has the "Hyper-Lethal" label attached to it, a special label given to students who have very dangerous or downright lethal semblances. These students are usually only allowed to use a portion of their power, or if it's fuelled by something, denied that fuel.

Blake is infuriating because she spends more time running and dodging than actually fighting. Worse? She's fantastic at it. Her semblance, those stupid "Shadow Clones" are ideal for hit and run attacks. She waits for her opponent to tire then strikes hard and without mercy. The times I can count thinking I've had her cornered only for her to completely too completely turn the tables on me and end the match within 2 minutes or less is depressingly high. At this point I suspect Blake is toying with me and I hate it.

Weiss is a bit like me, constantly thinking during battle. One big difference though. Those glyphs of hers make almost any battle laughably easy. An idiot could have that power and it would still be fantastic. But Snow Angel is sadly no idiot. Every single move she makes is cold, calculated, and efficient with little movement or energy wasted. Like Blake, she forces YOU into making mistakes, not the other way around. I have gotten better at dealing with Snow… WEISS lately by applying some outside the box tactics I've picked up from Raven and the tribe, but it's still not even close. Glyphs and Time Dilation really, really suck to be on the other end of.

Then comes my team, Team JNPR, my trusted friends and companions, and all of them are absolute nightmares to fight one on one.

Pyrrha Nikos, the Invincible Girl. Mistrali Champion 5 years running. Current Vytal Champion. And still the favourite to win again this year. The reasons why were obvious. Pyrrha was just the best, period. Her form and technique left no holes, her strength and stamina was through the roof, and like Weiss and Jaune, was constantly thinking of any and all ways to gain an advantage over an opponent. Her reflexes were also second to none, the only comparable amongst the first years being Ruby and Blake. She had way better body control than both though. I can honestly say only a small handful of people could beat Pyrrha.

Petrakos Nikos, her older brother and my new second within the tribe, if only because He trained her and therefore would know her inside and out. Not to mention I observed Pyrrha's style is simply a more energy efficient, less aggressive take on Petrakos' own fighting style. Little wonder it works so well.

The other big one that came to mind is Raven. ESPECIALLY since I now know her full power. Pyrrha didn't stand a chance against her. Hell, I don't know who does! Yet for all for her power, skill and influence she's still hiding from this Salem… that's a scary thought.

Shaking that nightmare fuel from my mind, the only other people that could beat Pyrrha in my mind are Miss Goodwitch and Ozpin. Both by reputation, but seeing as Miss Goodwitch could restrain multiple people at once in air as punishment, and Ozpin was the head of the most prestigious combat school in the world, they had to be the real deal.

Next was the tank of my team, Nora Valkyrie. Oh gods, Nora… She gets by being as unpredictable and chaotic as possible on the battlefield. You could even call chaos her playground. Combined with her raw strength and stamina, as well as her hammer/grenade launcher Maghild and she could give the best runs for their money. She is essentially a slightly lesser Yang in a sense. The comparisons were even more obvious when you considered Nora also had the "Hyper-Lethal" label put on her and therefore is denied access to electricity during training. It was not a good day when I had to spar with Nora, as she showed no mercy to anyone, even her own team. I can still imagine and cringe at all the bruises she has given me.

Then, there was Ren. Lie Ren. Lie Ren, my constant companion, best friend since I got here and honestly? The most underrated fighter in all of Beacon in my opinion. He is just… way too damn calm and damn near unreadable when fighting. Not to mention he is almost a pure martial fighter. Most at home up close and personal. But when he has too, was deadly accurate with Stormflower, his dual machine pistols. In terms of the first years, only Pyrrha and Ruby are better shots. But what really sets him apart is his unpredictability and capacity to learn. He never does the same thing twice, and is always picking apart his opponents moves as they fight, trying to gain an advantage.

Ren's still outshined by the likes of Pyrrha, Ruby, and Yang, but in only half a year has managed to beat-down the rest of the first-years. He even gives Blake and Weiss headaches now, literally and figuratively. If Yang can't get her emotions under control I give her 6 months before she's beaten by Ren, and maybe a year before he's at Ruby and Pyrrha's level. Let's just say I'm very, VERY glad he's on my team and my best friend, because I certainly wouldn't want to get on Ren's bad side.

Last, and almost certainly least, there's me. Jaune Arc, Leader of team JNPR, considered the second-best team of the first-years after Team RWBY. And now Husband of Raven Branwen, Chieftain of the Branwen Tribe on the sly. For a long, long time I questioned Ozpin's reasoning for making ME, the least capable out of all the first years, a team leader. Now though? Now I'm just mad… Mad at my Headmaster AND my parents for keeping so many secrets from me. It won't be just the Headmaster I plan to a long conversation with.

As for my combat ability, it's certainly way better than when I started I'll tell you that much. In the short time I've had Raven and Dusty as teachers I've grown quite comfortable with the backwards blade grip they taught me. Used it on Weiss and Blake a couple times sparring and nearly won against both switching back and forth between forward and backwards grips. I got Crocea Mors stuck in one of Blake's solidified shadow clones, and she unloaded a full clip from Gambol Shroud into the side of my head at point blank range, which sent my Aura down to 20 % and nearly knocking me out. I lost obviously. I had throbbing, aching eardrums for a week after that match, but at least Blake takes me more seriously as a fighter.

I actually managed to disarm Weiss a few days ago, but she responded by trapping my arms in Glyphs, then high-kicking me in the face. Everything gets fuzzy after that because she DID knock me out cold. To be fair she apologized the next day, but apologies don't help the dull ache I'm still feeling in my brow area where she kicked me, just above the nose, between the eyes. Tore my skin wide open too. Seriously what are those heels made of?!

That's not even getting into my Semblance, which I recently discovered saving… well now yeah I'd call Petrakos a friend. I healed him with my semblance. I can Heal THE WOUNDED AND DYING! HOW AWESOME IS THAT?! I can heal myself as well, which I discovered accidently when I touched that stitched up gash between the eyes Weiss gave me. Vanished faster than I could snap my fingers, very handy.

Already I noticed massive drawbacks to this; I have to make contact with the wound or injury for me to do my thing. Could be bad if I'm severely wounded in an unreachable area on my body or if someone's hurt out of my reach or I am busy somehow unable to get to them in time. The second one is the more severe the wound or injury, the more of my own aura I have to pour into it as discovered when I passed out healing Petrakos after he took a missile on my behalf. Luckily healing myself it seems doesn't require near as much Aura as it does to heal others.

Finally it's my turn to fight. And according to the randomizer the person I'm fighting is Cardin Winchester. Terrific. The guy is strong no doubt, but even after saving his and his team's bacon in Emerald Forest, he has all the personality of head lice.

I sit up and unsheathe Crocea Mors into its sword and shield configuration as I move towards the combat octagon. I decide now is a good day to try my hand at backward grip swordplay, as it has been hammered into my head without mercy back at camp by Raven and Petrakos. The technique might give me the edge I need against Cardin.

"Woo! Go fear less leader! Kick his Ass! BREAK HIS LEGS!" Nora screams excitedly. I can almost hear the face palms of my teammates behind me. "Oh Nora, don't tempt me with sweet, sweet words like that, I might just do something to Cardin that's out of character for me" I can't help but think to myself, barely containing a grin as I finally enter the octagon.

Me and Cardin size ourselves up for a moment before Cardin breaks out into a cocky grin. "You know Jauney boy, I didn't think anyone would ever call out Old man Port ya know?" he says with a chuckle. "Look where it got me, Stuck in detention with you" I reply coldly.

"Hey we're not so bad, we can be fun too ya know!" Cardin says in mock indignation. "Says the guy who's idea of fun is bullying Faunus and blowing up beacon's toilets" is my reply.

That second one causes Ms. Goodwitch to glare at him and Cardin raises his hands and smiles nervously "Hey! Don't look at me. Since that day in Emerald Forest I've seen the Light! I'm a good boy now, I swear!" he replies.

"Yeah, you maybe but what about your teammates? SOMEBODY'S still picking on Velvet and the other Faunus, but who is it?" I ask him with a gleeful, predatory smile plastered on my face. Now Coco pulls down her sunglasses and is glaring at Cardin. Both Yastsuhashi and Fox are cracking their Knuckles, Velvet has a smug grin on her face, and the entire class is waiting with baited breath for Cardin's answer.

"As if I'd spill the beans in front of all the 1st and 2nd years! I don't cave under pressure! And I am not a squealer!" Cardin exclaims with arms crossed in defiance. "But why don't we make this interesting shall we? I win, and me and my team continue as we are right now, but you win Jauney, and I swear right after this match Me and my team will have a chat with Team CFVY and sort out our differences, I swear on the Winchester name anything involving my team will end" he says.

All the first and second years sitting in watching each practice match roar and cheer in approval (the rest of team CRDL notwithstanding).

I smile widely as well. I wasn't looking forward to this before. But now? Now I'm absolutely pumped! "You know Cardin? Not a bad idea! Maybe there's hope for you after all" I say to him I as spread my legs wide and I raise my shield in proper combat form and Cardin raises his mace slightly to the right of himself, and with a slight twist of the handle, activates the fire dust within, setting the business end alight.

He smiles and says "I'd like to think my Parents didn't raise an idiot". I don't even dignify my former bully with a reply. Don't want to piss him off too much before the fight.

"If there's nothing else, I'll go over the rules. I know you know them already, but School policy dictates all else" Ms. Goodwitch says nonchalantly from her observation seat. "No lethal blows, winner is decided by either Knock out, Ring Out, Tap Out or whichever fighter's Aura drops into the Red, or below 50 percent first. Are we clear gentlemen?"

We both nod, eager to start fighting. The horn blares "Begin!" Ms. Goodwitch declares. Cardin charges first and swings his mace high and I roll out of the way. He tries to go for my head while I'm still getting up, and I respond by blocking with my shield and whacking him in the right cheek with the pommel. I follow up with a hard shield bash to the chest that knocks him on his ass. "That's right Cardin! How does it feel to be on the wrong end of the beating for once?! To be humiliated in front of everyone?! After this your bullying days are over and I will FINALLY have the respect I des-' At least that's what I was thinking to myself before Cardin raises his left hand, I hear a weird screeching sound, everything starts vibrating (1), and I'm sent flying backwards and I have to stab my sword into the ground to prevent myself from flying out of the ring.

Even before I can react and get up, he's on me and whacking me over and over with that mace of his. It's no longer a fight, it's a beating.

I'm now lying on the ground, barely coherent. My vision is Blurry, but Cardin stops whacking me for a second and lets me get up. Everything hurts and I feel like jelly that doesn't. But I force myself to focus, I look at the scoreboard. My Aura is at 51% while Cardin's is at 80. "Bastard wants me to surrender, Tap out"

I look to him and of course the arrogant prick is grinning as everyone else is booing. "Come on Jauney, I'm waiting" he says as he snaps his fingers to emphasize the point.

My response is to muster as much strength I have and punch him right in the nuts. Even with the armored codpiece he's wearing it takes all the air right out of him. He drops his mace as I rise and I grab both arms, knee him in the stomach, trip him and then proceed to hit him in the face over and over while he's down until I heard the Klaxon blare. Cardin fell into the red, I won. I spit out a large gob of blood and spit then say "Thanks for the opening Cardin".

"The winner by Aura depletion is Jaune Arc! The obvious take away here, Mr. Winchester, is to never, ever give your opponent an opening! Or gloat! That was the textbook definition of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory! You are not a villain from a Saturday Morning Cartoon! You are a Huntsman- in training SO ACT LIKE IT!" she had actually walked up to him and whipped him in the head with her ridding crop she's so outraged by his actions. His pride as a member of the Winchester family will only allow him to take the punishment, but involuntary tears and a whimper comes out anyway. Jaune and the entire class actually cringe in sympathy.

Ms. Goodwitch continues "I am supremely disappointed in you. I hope you never do this again, because the next time might get yourself or your team killed." She turns and points her riding crop in Jaune's direction. "Mr. Arc, I see your stance, form and technique have improved by leaps and bounds… excellent work, keep up the improvement. However, you are still just a tad bit over aggressive. If you had played this match a bit more defensively, perhaps you would've received a less severe beating" Ms. Goodwitch says to Jaune. Jaune beams with pride. "Yes Ms. Goodwitch" Cardin replies solemnly with a scowl on his face. "If that's all, Class is dismissed for today" she says, then walks off. Cardin wipes away the tears, picks up his weapon, and rejoins his team utterly humbled.

After a minute to pick up Crocea Mors, fold the shield back into its scabbard configuration, and am about to sheathe it; however I catch my reflection in my blade. Man, I even took an even worse beating than I thought. One of my eyes is swollen shut, my nose is swollen and bleeding, there's dried blood around my ears. I was bleeding from there. At least I didn't lose any teeth, somehow. "This was like one of my "practice" Matches with Raven, Dusty, Shay, Vernal or (shudders) Shara" I think to myself.

I put my bare hand to my swollen eye. It stings for a second as the swelling and bruising fades away. I feel a sharp pain in my sinuses as my nose resets itself. It's a very strange feeling having one of your eardrums regenerate after being damaged. Okay, this was actually worse than one of Shara's beatdowns she claims is a practice session. She's never damaged one of my eardrums before.

I check again before putting Crocea Mors on my belt. Outside of the dried blood, I'm picture perfect. My team is waiting for me at the doors. "I have so many questions" Pyrrha says to me. "LIKEWHATWASTHATJUSTNOWIMEANISSAWCCARDINTURNYOURFACEINTOHAMBURGER?!-"Nora screams excitedly as she jumps on Pyrrha's back nearly bringing them both down. Ren sighs but smiles, as if expecting this. "Don't worry, have I got stories for you guys" I reply with a big smile on my face. "But first… Dorm. Bed. I very Tired" I say with a yawn. All three nod in understanding and follow me to our Dorm.

Meanwhile, Ms. Goodwitch who observed the entire event pulls out her Scroll and hits the speed dial. "Yes, Ozpin? Class is over and I just observed something very, very interesting" Goodwitch says "Oh? Do Tell Glynda" Ozpin replies. "I think I may have a solution to our little problem downstairs" she replies in a hushed whisper. "Well isn't that interesting? It doesn't concern one Jaune Arc does it?" Ozpin asks. "How do you even know? - You've been watching the security footage again haven't you?! I told you that's NOT your job!" Ms. Goodwitch exclaims.

Ms. Goodwitch hears chuckling in response "Guilty as charged Glynda. After my administrative duties and 'sigh' paperwork I still have half the day left typically, besides Qrow can't be here all the time, his work is way too important, and Taiyang's demands, while worth it, would eat up half our budget! Not to mention this is the best way I get to know my students. They just wouldn't be comfortable with me patrolling the halls. Plus this could allow me to the bottom of our little spy problem"

Ms. Goodwitch sighs in defeat. She's not comfortable with Ozpin spying on her students, but she couldn't deny he had a point. Multiple in fact. But that wasn't going to stop her from forcing him to stop after their latest crisis blew over, with force if need be. "Seems with much to discuss before we call him" is her reply. "Indeed we do, see you in few minutes Glynda" and then he hangs up, leaving Ms. Goodwitch to come up to his office.

A Short Nap and a few long stories later…

"So… You're telling me my older brother, who has been missing for two years and was declared dead by the Mistrali Army, is alive and well?" Pyrrha asks. "Yeah that's what I said" I reply as I lie on my bed. She smiles then cups her head in her hands "Petrakos Nikos I don't whether I'm going to give you the biggest hug of your life because I'm so happy to see you, or to punch you in the head because I thought you were gone!" Pyrrha exclaims to no one in particular.

"Why not do both?" Nora replies. "As much as finding out about your big brother we had no idea about is fascinating, I want to hear more about Jaune's semblance" Ren says.

"Well it's pretty basic. If you're hurt in anyway, as long as I can make contact with the wound or the injury, and as long as I have Aura, I can heal you. As you saw I can do to it to myself as well" Jaune replies to Ren. "OMG that's so awesome! Just think of the possibilities!" Nora screams excitedly with arms outstretched.

Jaune grins "And that right there is my initial reaction in a nutshell". "I believe I should address the elephant in the room, Jaune, did Mrs. Branwen happen to make you raid a Train recently?" "Yeah why?" He replies, putting two and two together he reaches for his scroll and searches the top stories on the news. Sure enough, James Ironwood himself called a conference yesterday at Vale's City Hall while he was with Raven and the tribe. Apparently the train he raided was bound with supplies, weapons, and armored vehicles to reinforce the garrison the assembled for security at the Vytal Festival.

Apparently as the "Sole Survivor", they didn't know about Petrakos' survival and "Ringleader" of the raid, "The Owl" as they imaginatively called his tribe alter ego due to his mask's owl-like visage, now had a 1.5 million Lien Bounty on his head! Dead or Alive. But there was more, because of course there was more! After James leaves the podium, his second Specialist Winter Schnee steps up to the podium, adding that he is also wanted for the murder of Specialist Lieutenant Liam Azure, which carries an automatic Bounty of 250 000 Lien.

Her lips curl into a sly smile when she adds that there was significant Schnee Dust Company investment on the train, millions worth in fact. As such the Schnee Dust Company also has put out a 100 000 Lien bounty on the Owl, and a further 50 000 lien to anyone with anyone with pertaining to his Capture. She walks away from the podium, ending the broadcast. Jaune sinks further into his bed, completely dejected.

It was official, with just one action he had become one of the most wanted criminals in all of Remnant. To his knowledge Only Roman Torchwick and of course Raven had higher collective bounties on their heads.

He felt absolutely used and helpless "Fuck you Raven" is all he can say. He sets down his Scroll and is about to get up and probably break something in fury and have a small nervous breakdown in front of his team when he hears the familiar voice of Professor Ozpin over the Intercom "Could Team JNPR Please come up to my office?"

At that Jaune gets up of bed, throws on a white tee, and his shoes. Jaune sighs "Well we might as well go face the music huh? Let's go guys" He says in a depressed tone. Pyrrha, Nora and Ren follow him out.

About 10 minutes later, Ozpin's office…

The door opens to an awaiting Professor Ozpin and Miss Goodwitch. "Come Jaune, Pyrrha, Nora, Lie… there are many things we need to discuss". The four Nod too each other and walk in as the elevator doors shut behind them.

To Be Continued…

Merry Christmas everyone! I took far, far too long getting this out, and I apologise. What in god's name took me so long? I'll be straight with you guys, my life completely fell apart for a while. Lost practically every friend I had. That's hard enough for most people, try being an epileptic who struggles with on-off depression and social anxiety. I'll try my damndest to be better in the new year with my schedule.

I hope you enjoyed, any all constructive criticism is appreciated (especially since I may be a bit rusty). Have an Awesome 2020!

1. Cardin's Semblance is essentially a Carbon copy of Avalanche's from Marvel/X-Men Evolution. In essence his body can generate Seismic waves on command using his aura as fuel. He can direct it with his hands or feet. Not something you usually want to use in a wide area, or a city, but in close quarters, absolutely deadly.
