Author has written 5 stories for Harry Potter. Writing might not have been my strongest subject throughout school, but that doesn't mean I don't love doing it. I write in the Harry Potter Universe normally. I could go on for hours on my opinions, but to save your time and my sanity, I think I'll leave you with my opinions on a few characters. Hermione: She is my favorite character within the whole series. She's intelligent, loyal, good hearted, brave, a little bossy, and ambitious. I could have seen her in Slytherin is she wasn't a muggleborn. I wish JKR went more into her home life or interests. All we really know about Hermione's family is her parents are dentists. As for her interests, she likes books, her favorite sweet is sugar quills, and she likes doing well in school. Well that's just fantastic. Hey JKR, why don't you tell us what her favorite color, animal (other then cats), music, etc. It might leave a lot of imagination for fan fiction (something I like), but still. Don't even get me started on Ron. She could have done SO much better. In the long run, he probably would get jealous of her success or something just as stupid and broke her heart. He was always putting her down with insults. He hated her cat, who she loves immensely. I mean the guy is a complete ass to her. She would have been so much better with Harry. Harry: How can you not like Harry. He's brave, selfless, kind hearted, and very noble. His character was very in depth when it came to background, but as I said with Hermione, I wish his interests were something other then Quidditch. I like the game. I think it's interesting, but it does get old after getting mentioned a billion times. I feel like he was cheated out of a childhood by the Dursleys and Dumbledore. The man left him on a doorstep with a letter. A LETTER! The idiot thought that would be smart. Yeah, good choice Mr. I'm always right. He's so damn noble that every time the red headed git decides to come scurrying back, he accepts without any further question. That's a bit annoying. Ginny always gave me the creeps. First, she is always ogling Harry. I mean, after seeing him at her house, she could have been a little more subtle. I don't understand how he fell for her. She looks like his mum. She has a creepy fangirl crush on him. It doesn't end with Ginny. Ginny: I don't like Ginny. You probably gathered that from the last bit. She strikes me as an obsessive fangirl. I think it's a little strange that suddenly during the 6th book/movie, Harry starts showing interest in her. Not in the 5th. I think it's sudden, strange and coincidental. Not to mention, Molly and the love potions that might and might not be real. Anyways, she just creeps me out. Ron: I don't really want to talk about Ron. Let's just say I. Don't. Like. Him. Molly: Molly bloody Wesley is one of those characters that I genuinely hate. Some people think she is a great motherly figure for Harry. Nope. Nada. She is overbearing and has no business in the things she plops herself in the middle of. Remember in Oop (Movie) when Sirius was trying to tell Harry what was happening with the ministry and she goes off about how their just kids and they have no business knowing about this stuff. I'm sorry, when was it ever your right to stop a godfather from making decisions concerning his godson? Never that's when. It also always bugged me when Molly told Hermione and Ginny in third year (Is that right? I haven't read the books in a while) that she used love potions on Arthur during their school days. Severus Snape: Ah the tough but lovable potions master. I have mixed feelings about him. Sometimes he's okay, and sometimes, not so much. My only confusion when it comes to him is why he would go to the Dark Lord with the prophecy? He is a smart guys, he must've had some idea of what would occur. Even if he didn't know it was about Lily. Albus To-Many-Names Dumbledore: Don't like him. That's really all I have to say. There are too many reasons why he is bad rather then good. Too many shady things he had done for me to like him. And his 'Greater Good' saying gets on my nerves. Now that I have that out of my system, let's talk about pairings. Harry and Hermione- Love Hermione and Ron- Hate Harry and Ginny- Hate Draco and Hermione- Love Ron and Luna- Tolerate (It's better then Hermione and Ron) Ginny and Neville- Tolerate (Better then Harry and Ginny) Out For Blood: Year 2 will be posting soon. I'm going though some editing and Year 1 might be a little wonky right now. PM for any story ideas. Especially for Darker Days. Tell me what you want to see. My life is getting quite busy right now, between taking care of toddlers, school/work and family. I might be posting less often. Nothing is abandoned though. |
