I find your harry potter an inconsistent character. One moment hes powerful and strong the next a sniviling wuss. Pick one.

I was liking the story, until I reached chapter two.
Honestly, Harry would drop Ron so fast if he actually did that. Hermione would have Hexed him 6 ways to Sunday. The both would have stopped talking to him and stopped being his friend. It doesn't matter if Ron was their first friend. That was utter betrayal and unprovoked viciousness.
I like the idea of the story, but the execution was not well planned out.

Why didn't the duo go to Dumbles and Minerva when a teacher/Ministry official threatened both students, disparaged both, and threatened one of them with rape?

More reason to believe the author is a blithering idiot. Every single person on the good side has had their brain removed. They think of nothing. They are not even setting up preventions of known behavior from the previous war. Your characters are all morons and cowards. Every single one. What was Amelia bones doing while fudge was fucking around? Wasn’t she supposed to be one of the good guys and not corrupted? Isn’t she and the head auror both good guys? Incompetent and powerless is how you showed them since they did fuck all. It’s also unrealistic for harry to be twiddling his thumbs and going to madam puddlefoots while his only remaining ties to his family are captured. Author keeps proving themselves not up to the task of writing realistic characters.

This is what makes this plot so horrible. Not one single person on the good side is doing anything at all. Every single one is pathetically just standing by and letting the bad guys do whatever they want. It’s truly one sided because the light side is full of spineless cowards to afraid to do shit.
