Awesome second year, loved the changes too

I read this story and the Year One story in only a few hours.
I must say that as a HP purist who tries very hard to stick to canon, I feel goosebumps every time Hermione does something bad or against Harry (I hope he, Ron and Neville show some strong magical abilities soon, they can't be incompetent if they're facing off against Hermione!). But from a purely objective point of view, your writing is excellent. The relationships between the characters is well-described, and it's refreshing to see that you're not averse to make bold choices. The only thing I wonder is if these teenagers could talk about someone killing someone else without turning a hair. If they're this ruthless at that age, they'll make wonderful Death Eaters - or even overthrow Voldemort and become fearsome dark witches and wizards on their own!
