The idea would have been fine but their routine interruption is fast getting old. Either let the couple do their thing off-screen or have the two reapers show up at a different time. Just basically skimmed through the entire thing and not absorbing the contents as, based on experience, most of the participation of the reapers is negligible in the overall plot.

Good job so far. I am almost sure I have already read this fic but it has a good start.

I wouldn't say that Lucy Malfoy was cunning. I think the only cunning thing he did was the diary incident. other than that he did nothing but pay bribes and make threats which isn't cunning especially since everyone knew he was doing it.

Bill probably would know the expression shit is about to hit the fan because of his father who works in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office and who is well known for his obsession with all thing muggle and for taking apart many a number of muggle artifacts one of which was a house fan and for putting them back together again as well.

I've read this story several times and always enjoyed it, but there's too much focus on crests and oaths with the goblins. I understand that you wanted a tangible sign of alliances and also to show how much Harry and those he's closest to respect the goblins but it was very repetitive and bogged the story down in details and minutiae instead of driving it forward. (And I say that as someone who's guilty of the same thing.) It's something you should be aware of if ever you return to writing fanfiction or if you decide to write original fiction.

Decent story, but a bit too many “paint by numbers” fan fiction plot elements. Also, far too many words used to explain superfluous details.
