Someone mentioned this as their favorite fanfic on a Discord dedicated to H/Hr shippers and it reminded me that even though this has been on my favorites list for years, I haven't re-read it in a long time.

I love this story. How you use Harry's curiosity about photography to bring the two of them together in quieter settings. How this lets them both see another side of the other. How you bring up Harry's feelings about his abilities or lack thereof. How Parvati helps Hermione see what her approach needs to be if she wants to pursue a relationship with Harry. And how they dive into it at the end.

It's a very satisfying character study and you did such justice to both of them.

Really good story. You managed to pull two people out of their shells and fully into each other’s lives.

The camera was a great vehicle to bring them together. And who knew that Parvati could be so insightful.

So I really really loved this story and it made me get back into photography more specifically film. And I just wanna say thank you for that

That bit about the daughter was heart wrenching. Wow

So, I'll admit it. I typically hate HP/HG fics. I hate the pairing in general.

*dodges objects being thrown*

I've always seen them as siblings so the whole thing feels wrong somehow if that makes sense.

But reading this...damn. I loved everything about this one-shot. I loved the emotion behind it, the build-up, the way you completely and accurately captured their personalities. And the whole climax with the daydream about their "daughter" was absolutely perfect, because it's everything Harry could ever want. You could see Hermione breaking down his walls with every sentence, even fantasy. It was utterly perfect.

Your writing is awesome. Characters feel real. Honestly I'm going to read this again and again because I don't think I've ever stumbled upon a more...human, I guess, set of characters as I see here. There's no magical powers, no immediate end of the world scenario, just a couple of teenagers trying to preserve this blissful calm and capture something worth holding on to. I think that, more than anything, is what makes this piece really special.
