Hi, I’m Deathbeast, and I write fanfiction.

I am married to a wonderful woman, and I have four infuriatingly smart kids.

I have been reading fanfiction since June 2017; the first story that I read was Moments in love written by Gandalf’s Beard.

I have to say that I was hooked from the beginning. I wasn’t always a Harry Potter fan; in fact, for the longest time, I ignored the series. I refused to read the books or watch the movies, I thought and hoped that the whole thing would blow over and never be spoken of again.

It was my wife that changed my thoughts about it and ultimately it Was her that suggested that I write my own.

A few things to point out.

- I am Scottish, and I will sometimes reference Scots Gaelic in my writing.

- I work in the Whisky industry so I will also reference single malt whisky from time to time.

- Other than in the early part of my first story ‘The man who was Broken’ Hermione / Ron and Harry /Ginny will never be pairings.

- I don’t care if someone out there disagrees with my point of view on this; if you don’t like what I’m writing, then please read something that interests you.

- Ronald Weasley is, in my opinion, a bully and has the potential to be physically abusive. This is borne out in the final book when he punches Draco when he is vulnerable. Again this is my opinion.

- Ginny is a shallow, selfish fan girl that cannot see past her own needs.

- Draco fits under the ‘Stupid but saveable’ bracket for at least some of my work, but Hermione and him will never be a thing.

- I will never write a harem story, they really arent my thing.

- I don’t use a beta; I don’t really see the point. I use Grammarly when I am writing.

If you want to leave reviews, I will read them even if I don’t respond to them all.

I am from Glasgow and Huge Glasgow Rangers fan, I am ex British Army and I am into Heavy Metal and Red Dwarf.
