| EmlynMara chapter 18 . 7/24 I wondered if it would be Dumbledore. I feared it would be Sirius or James or Lily, but It being Dumbledore did most definitely cross my mind. So sad Snape was used and once again, his life was upended. I wish Hydrus would really think on Snape’s words and not be blinded by his anger. He made a wrong choice, and may have to face the consequences, but in many ways circumstances (and people) pushed him to the precipice. Hydrus truly does share a greater part of the blame for what happened - which perhaps makes his anger that much greater. But we just saw what bitterness and resentment and grudges can lead to... |

| gabzep chapter 20 . 7/13 I have tbh I was a little hesitant on reading this story since I loved ‘A Brand New Start‘ but I’m glad I did. You made enough changes and caused him enough trouble to make it just as enjoyable. Tho I’m sad about Remus he was a pain and at least he had a happy life in the second time line. It was all worth it to save the Potters. |

I am surprised, however, that he gave up a good life on the word of some mysterious woman. Was he drugged, cursed, potioned? I can't help but feel sorry for the waste of his life. |
