Chapter 49- Because great Hermione Granger can rather put her heart and mind in hurting her love physically in a duel, to prove herself better than him. Rather than let her love and heart talk for once for Harry, to let others know they cannot duel on equal footing. Because Hermione will always like to win, regardless of relation, regardless of love, regardless of knowing that Harry will always love her more than she can ever love him. Because Harry will not want to prove himself better than her, he will not want to hurt her; unlike her who always hurts him emotionally and physically. N without regard that her win over Harry is hollow, false, without regard how will it affect Harry's image. Because she is far more concerned with how others view her than with a half-hearted Harry dueling with her will only affect his image badly. It doesn't matter she knows Harry didn't put in his all. Because she is cashing in that winner image! Not trying to right the wrong image. Great Hermione again.

Chapter 49- just to show Hermione better, Harry had to be shown weak or clueless! Wow.

On Chapter 13, and frankly I think Harry deserves someone like Eliza in his life. Someone who doesn't snap at him moodily, or who thinks she is right always. She brings in his life a happiness, fun and moments no one tried to give him before.
I am a Harry-Hermione shipper. But Hermione's habit of not even knowing that even she can be wrong, of snapping at Harry or being moody around him or being in her own bubble of righteousness is not how love is. Yes she cares for him, protects him in her unique way, saves his life, does everything she can to help him. Yet she is also the one who doesn't try to see things from Harry's angle. Somehow it's always her angle, her attitude towards him is like scolding a kid, to set him straight. Eliza brings lively moments in Harry's life which no one ever tried to give him before. N that is also saving him from himself, giving him- himself back, saving his life.

Lots of quarantine fun with this story. Well written, nicely balanced between action, romance and character development. Kudos!
