The NES ordered from the states probably would not work in the UK. The television system in the UK is PAL while at that time the US used NTSC. They are not compatible.
While looking through the book that Hermione made for him, he realized that the people were direct DESCENTANTS of his...his children and grandchildren? I believe that the word "ancestors" would be more appropriate.

Aaand here we have the "You're now legally married" bullshit chapter. Why do soul bond fics insist on (legally) marrying underage children? I have to assume it's part of US puritan culture, as an effort to legitimise the intimacy between the soul-bonded couple. Can't have them sleep in the same bed or later have sex without being "married", that would be just indecent and upsetting, right? What is the purpose of this? Why can't the bond exist separately from the legal recognition of their union? Why take that decision away from them? Maybe Hermione would have wanted to keep her name, or become Hermione Granger-Potter?

It also really trivialises the bond if the big shocking reveal is that they are now married. Who in their right mind would care about that piece of legal fiction at this point?

" I don't know when the next update will be, but it shouldn't be as long as this one took." True to your word I see, haha. Seriously though, good story so far, have to say I am enjoying it, can't resist a soul bond fic. Hope you haven't completely abandoned the story.

As with your other story, I’m sad that this appears to be abandoned...it is quite good. You have an interesting take on the whole ‘soul bond’ thing, and the story felt like it was heading in interesting directions. You write very well...along with many of the little things that make a story good, you just, well, write well. You pull the reader in, make them care about your characters and wish to see what happens next. Thanks for posting, and please come back and finish these stories some day!
