Well, I'm stumped on the source of Nemeas' name.
I was thinking that maybe the name was derived from the Hippogriff's origins: A griffon and a horse supposedly created the hippogriff and the griffon is supposed to be the mating of an eagle and a lion. The Nemean lion of Greek Mythology and Meares (Mearas?) are legendary horses, but I'm unsure of the names of legendary eagles...
I hope you explain it later on. ;D

Another fantastic story, imho. I've lately been reading a number of stories that bash Hermione; it's so refreshing to return to a writer who *sees* Harry's & Hermione's friendship and relationship as *I* see them and as I interpreted them IN CANON!

I'm in love with this story! Amazing blending of mythology-especially Irish Mythology and lore-and a 'canon divergent' HP 'verse! Well done!

(Btw, I'm so pleased that you've returned with "All Because Of:"! Welcome back! And I *won't* ask when you're posting next ;D... But I do hope that it will help you to wrangle your muse back into submission! You really need to re-read some of your own works: Read them as if you're coming upon them *as a 1st-time reader* and not as the author. Maybe then you'll be able to see just how terrific your stories are and you might feel inspired!)

I'm nowhere near finished with this, but I still like to let a writer know that a chapter or as far as I am in a story, has provoked me to write either commentary or questions, so...

I get the feeling that 'Marduk' is indeed going after the 'children of the Prophecy', but could it also be that he's attempting to destroy 'Elemental children' and their families? I'm pretty sure that Neville would qualify as an Earth Elemental: He's 'down-to-earth', has an amazing affinity for plants and working the soil, and is strong and steadfast.

And if he's and Earth Elemental would Luna be Water?

Anyhoo, I'm loving this tale and have to get back to it!

I don't think I've seen one where Neville's name comes out instead. I've gotta say I love it! Few fics that try to make Neville a more important character do it well and this one definitely does. Love all the twists. In your fics you always manage to make harmony more powerful but not at the expense of everything going their way. I enjoyed this very much. Thank you.
