Well, since you've got this as a 'part one of four' series, I'm not hopeful Dumbledore gets sent to Lily Potter's "tender" mercies. That said, your doing a good job blasting the hell out of his precious reputation, and in the process leaving him fewer weapons in his arsenal later on. I look forward to more entertainment!

Maybe it's because I don't have much experience with children but Neville doesn't seem to have that shyness he's portrayed as having in canon as well as nearly every other story pre-OotP.

Unless their was some truth serum in the sandwiches this seems a little too forthcoming from an abused child. However I do like the story, just wish he had to coax it out a bit more. Also, if this all started because he was concerned about abuse, why didn't he report the Dursleys immediately?
