Clarissa Kinnison née Mcdougal was rather given away by her “Clear Ether” to Harry. The Lensman books by Edward Elmer Smith are a true classic of sci fi literature

A good story but with very stilted language. This I take it as being a portrayal of the high faluting Victorian manners that the supposed Wizarding world uses. Well done, more chapters please, it was just getting interesting.

Compelling, full of unique plot twists:
•Cold, calculating, intelligent Ron who is "pretending"
to be a lazy, lay-about to hamper Harry's education
•Lord Harry Potter, abused & manipulated, overrides
his "Conditioning" and chooses people to be family
•The Department of Mysteries is actually involved
with the Prophesy, and tries to aid Harry Potter
•Poppy Pomfrey is finally called on the carpet for
ignoring all the obvious physical evidence that her
patient has been mistreated, starved, and beaten.
Not only did the School Matron not ask about the
damage, but she also did not medically treat the
child, perpetuating the cycle of abuse. Bad Poppy!
•Once confronted with unassailable evidence that
their "heirs" are ham-handed morons, four pure-
Blood Wizard Fathers (Malfoy, Nott, Goyle & Crabbe)
take the dramatic step & disown their only male
offspring. Family honor is paramount.
•Where is obsessed fan-girl Ginevra in your tale?
Is the unaddressed Life Debt Ginny owes Harry for
saving her from Possession by Voldemort & being
eaten by the Basilisk in 1992-3. (Why isn't Ron
more angry that the youngest Weasley was almost
killed? Doesn't he blame Dumbledore at all?)
•I cannot imagine Minister Fudge not butting his
nose into the recent tumult. PR time. Placing his
loyal people at Hogwarts.
•Where is the Dog-father while this is going down?

I think the horcux is now revealed, to Harry that has to be devastating. With the help of Hermione it's going to be okay, but it's not going to be easy.
