So, I started on chapter 8 without reading the first 7 by accident. I was a bit confused but I realized it before it was too late when I realized I had no idea where they were or where Jane Granger came from.

Great story. Sucks harry not there for Hermione during birth. Some of the characters attitudes at points seemed worse then Vernon and petunia and made me quite angry. Confused about how they would ask snape about Ginny taking potions classes when previous chapter said he died at gringotts. Hope Hermione and harry can have a good life with the Grangers

great story so far, but how does he know he's a lord back in chapter 11a, and he proposed to hermione with potter and black family rings, and hermione wrote home about dumbledore trying to take off her engagement ring, but suddenly in chapter 17 harry doesnt know he is lord potter?

Things worked out. The results of those letters is fascinating. So is the insight on how witches views these things. What’s said about Ron is at once funny and true.

So H&H are doubly engaged. Her parents are only now coming to grips with what that means on the magical side. I’m sure they like it not one bit.

The part about the promise vs engagement rings was very interesting. I suspect that once adopted, Harry might come into his own as an adult Potter.

I had a hoot that Percy came a cropper against Harry. That prat deserved it in Spades!

The ‘lessons’ with Snape should turn out better assuming they can setup Occlumency barriers first.

Beating a dead horse, I know but again w/ continuity.
In her letters home Hermione said Harry convinced her it was up to others to self-study and after discovering some were doing that she let the idea drop. So no DA 5th year. Yet Dumbledore mentions it.
