Heya, the name's Nem, and I'm a 21 year old procrastinator from Canada. Someday I'd like to be able to finish writing a story, but unfortunately I have a long history of fragmented, incomplete... stuff. I'm a fan of various movies, TV shows, books, anime, games, and other media.

Do people ever actually read profiles? I have no idea, but at any rate, if anyone comes looking here for an explanation on why Little Brother isn't getting updated: I don't feel comfortable enough with the characters in KHR, so I'm going to take some time to figure them out better. This might take longer than it normally would, since I'm starting university soon, so I'll be quite busy. Sorry for making you wait! (I was trying to write Ryohei, since he's the next character I want to introduce, but my brain keeps being all 'but Squalo! And sibling dynamics! And Xanxus' relationship with Massimo's kids! Why are you trying to write Sasagawa? It's not like you understand his character, anyway,' and now I'm stuck. -_-')

I'd like to either find or write a quality fanfiction wherein the Strawhat crew (One Piece) end up in Gol D Roger's time and various shenanigans ensue.

Lily and the Art of Being Sisyphus, a Harry Potter fanfiction in which Eleanor Lily Potter is good friends with Death, Voldemort is a Wizard Lenin, and Lily Riddle is a wizarding drug dealer who only hires vampires.

Potter Who and the Wossname's Thingummy, a Harry Potter Doctor Who fanfiction by Forrest UUID, in which the Doctor is trapped in Harry Potter's body, doesn't remember anything including his name, and the sort of shenanigans that usually surround said Time Lord and Wizard ensue.

Black Sky, a Harry Potter Katekyo Hitman Reborn fanfiction by Umei no Mai, in which James Potter was infertile, and therefor Harry Potter is gender swapped and a Black, and the Infamous Blood Wards manifest as Dying Will Flames.

An Avalanche, a Lord of the Rings Harry Potter fanfiction by Lady Hallen, in which Heather (fem!Harry), Hermione, Luna and Draco cross dimensions to Middle Earth and build a Haven against the coming war.

Stormborn, a Naruto fanfiction by black.k.kat, in which Naruto is the reincarnation of the last Uzukage, and leaves Konoha to rebuild Uzushiogakure after the Chuunin Exams. (Complete)

Catch Your Breath, a Naruto fanfiction by Lang Noi, in which Self Insert Gekko Keisuke attempts to avert the coming catastrophe from within Minato's Team 7 and everything goes not exactly as expected.

Déjà vu no Jutsu, a Naruto fanfiction by Vixen Tail, in which Self Insert Mesuji Natsumi, who was a career soldier in her last life, is reborn into Namikaze Minato's generation and decides that her life's work will be ensuring he and his wife survive the birth of their son. (Complete)

Um, What the Hell?, a Final Fantasy VII fanfiction by Klavieres, in which Aeris sends dead!Zack back in time to (ostensibly) change the future, and both Zacks spend much of their time being greatly amused.

Odd-Job Tsuna, a Katekyo Hitman Reborn! fanfiction by ShamelessDilettante, in which Tsuna decides he doesn't want to have to depend on his absentee father for money, and so decides to earn enough to take care of his mother and himself. Of course, it gets a bit out of hand...

Vigilante Tendency, a Katekyo Hitman Reborn! fanfiction by Kyogre, where Tsuna becomes leader of a Vigilante organization entirely against his wishes. The Decimo's generation was always going to be a lot like Primo's, but maybe this was going a little bit too far. (Complete)

Ayakashi, a Katekyo Hitman Reborn! fanfiction by Kyogre (again!), in which Tsuna's mother is a kitsune, none of his guardians are entirely human, and the supernatural plays a greater part in the mafia than anyone expected. (Complete)

The Turks' Way, a Final Fantasy VII fanfiction by LunaStorm. Working with AVALANCHE, averting one disaster after another, has given Vincent Valentine a taste for saving the Planet through unusual means. Like, for example, time-travel. The only difference is, this time he's on his own, and he's going to do it the Turks' way.

Also, on the note of favourites, my favourite fanfiction author is probably Umei no Mai, due to her(?) excellent work in multiple fandoms. She(?) doesn't get nearly enough favourites and follows for any of them.

Final Fantasy VII

Jenova is evil. She is the Calamity that Fell From the Sky, a virus, a genetic disease. But what if she wasn't?

Two possibilities I've thought of are:

A) Jenova was never evil, rather she was a benign explorer and never meant any harm to the Cetra. From this you could:

i) Explore the Ancient society that was constantly mentioned but never really expanded upon in canon. In this case, Jenova cooperates with the Cetran people.

ii) Have the Planet fear this strange new creature and incite her people to go to war against Jenova, which would end up with Jenova being sealed away. 2000 years later, the ShinRa team discovers her remains, but this time rather than a malevolent entity they are dealing with a confused but also cunning one, who uses her knowledge of the Ancients to trick them into using her in their experiments. This could be either an attempt at revenge, or perhaps an attempt to escape, or coexist.

B) After being sealed, Jenova's consciousness dies, and an OC Insert or SI is inserted in its place. What sort of havoc could an outsider with knowledge of the plot cause with the abilities and connections of Jenova?

One Piece

Lots of people have pondered the identity of Monkey D. Luffy's mother, and the whereabouts thereof. After being transported to the One Piece world and meeting a young Monkey D. Dragon, I've come to the disturbing conclusion that I might just be her. I figure some people would consider this a love story, but to me it's a dangerous mystery. After all, Luffy's mother was absent all his life, so what's going to happen to me?

The Hobbit

Gandalf compared Bilbo often to his mother, Belladonna Took, who was reputedly one of the most adventurous Hobbits to ever live. What if Belladonna hadn't died? What if the lifespan of a Hobbit was comparable to that of a Dwarf, rather than a man?

Belladonna Took was born in 2852 TA, 89 years before the Quest for Erebor. In one reality, 89 was fairly old for a Hobbit, certainly past middle age, and Belladonna Baggins was dead besides. But in this reality Hobbits have been known to live to their third century, so 89 is little past the age of majority. At such a young age Belladonna Took had no plans of settling down and starting a family, oh no, she was far too busy adventuring for that. So when one Gandalf the Grey showed up at the door of the Great Smials of Tookborough one morning, she had no problem accepting his offer.

Time Travel Fix-it prompt

Bilbo gets sent back to his youth when he dies in Valinor, waking up again as a ten year old Hobbit. He begins to relive his childhood, acting altogether more Tookish than many of his Took cousins, but despite all the change in him nothing seems to change outside of him. At least, until his mother becomes pregnant.

Eight months later Belladonna Baggins gives birth to a blue-eyed, black haired boy she names Frodo.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

I came across a Zombie Apocalypse!Katekyo Hitman Reborn! fanfiction, and now I'm kind of dying for a good, full length one. Come on, just imagine it, all those badass mafia people cutting swaths through the zombified masses, because really all the best KHR fics need an enemy for them to fight, so you either get Tsuna going full mafia and actually taking out other famiglia or you need to make up a new evil. In this case, though, there's no end to the horde, and everyone has a reason to fight together. And then there's still the cause of the zombies, in which case you can have, say, the Estraneo remnants having created a virus that got out of hand, but maybe they're still getting something out of this. Or maybe Byakuran is somehow behind it. Or maybe it's an act of God and the only thing they can really do about it is kill as many of the bastards as they can and make a safe zone. There's so much potential for various genres in this, too.

It's the zombie apocalypse for about an hour, and then Hibari Kyouya happens. During the terrifyingly efficient takeover of the world (by the Disciplinary Committee, not the zombies) some familiar faces trickle in to the Namimori safe zone, starting with but not limited to, a couple of Estraneo escapees and a whole bunch of mafia weirdos.
