Here, you may find a strange blend of American spelling and 'British' English mostly-everything-else. You see, that's what happens when your ESL school prefers Standard British English, while your main sources of entertainment come from the USA. Let's not even talk about pronunciation.

Sometimes, I say Japanese words, or even Spanish. It's not weaboo when you were sure so many of those were actually Portuguese words as a kid.

Or whatever derogatory term they use to call Japan fanatics with cultural appropriation tendencies these days.

Really, the Ocident has been fascinated with the Orient (and vice versa) for a long time. Puccini's opera Madame Butterfly (and the book it was based on); Van Gogh's Japonaiserie... there was a movement called Japonism. People picked the parts they liked and that's it. Kinda like Japan fans do today. Is it wrong? Who knows. Personally, I think it's just a symptom of something worse, but I digress.

Aside from script fics, I'm kinda afraid to post Glacialis (a YoI VRMMO fic) here. There's been too many fic-stealing mirrors plaguing FFN. It's not FFN's fault--really, this site is absurdly understaffed and underfunded, from what I gather... ads just don't pay that well, nowadays. I don't even know how they get money to maintain and update their (surprisingly nice!) app.

I'm (very) slightly better at completing fan arrangements/transcriptions than fanfics. Game, anime, etc. (my username there is weirdpianist). Feel free to request stuff. If I like the song, you might get an arrangement/transcription for free! And it's not like asking costs anything in the first place...

One Piece

(I'll Condemn) the world for your sake (twfys): Chapter 17 is mostly complete. Chapter 16 has been posted. Undergoing heavy editing as of May 2017, because--holy bananas!--it's been years and (I hope) I suck a (tiiiny little) bit less than I did back then. It's mostly flow, awkward sentences and expanding a few dialogues.

twfys was supposed to be a somewhat gory dark comedy crackfic, but it somehow spawned two sidefics: a Sabo origins oneshot, and an outsider PoV multichapter featuring everybody else's side of the fic. I can't post everything I do have, because it spoils things up to chapter 30-something. orz

Luffy in the Skies: Something came up and I had to rethink it all. Also, I somehow managed to lose a good chunk of Nami and Usopp's chapters when my last phone broke. Turns out the doc editor didn't synchronize automatically with my live account like I thought it did. orz

FFVII

Shinra's (One-winged) Angels: I sporadically write down small snippets and ideas, but nothing really substantial. Hiatus.

All Tales of Symphonia stories are on indefinite hiatus, despite repeated efforts to continue them. Seriously. I had more ideas for Rebirth and wrote many snippets down, but they're fragments that won't make much sense for anyone else.

Yuri on Ice

Love at First Something: I'm this close to giving up on batches of 5 and posting whatever I have. Or skipping a theme. Leaving the troublesome theme for last... nah. Can't. It's meant to be posted in that order. orz

We Could be so Good Together: It's on the backburner as I work on Glacialis. Thing is, I can't write angst yet. And this has so much angst.

Glacialis: Basically, I write it to improve my outline skills (which are pretty horrible), world building and stuff. Chapter 3 was complete, or so I thought. Then, I was hit with inspiration and 2k became 4k became... well, most of it will be saved for later chapters, but... ah, it became a monster. When you start writing OC (as in, Original City) backstory, something has either gone horribly wrong--or horribly right. Editing it is proving to be a nightmare. Here's the link:

Mom: So! Naruhina FTW!

Aunt: What do you mean, Naruto likes Sasuke, doesn't he? (apparently, she thought Naruto was a BL anime.)

Me: I'm not sure some of the producers even know that, to tell the truth.

Funnily enough, mom, who actually shipped Naruhina waaay back... more or less dislikes the pairing now. I choked on popcorn when she declared:

"It's terrible, because even NaruSasu makes more sense than that ending! As in, the guy who tried to kill him, abandoned the village, tried to kill him, was a terrible person in general, etc. Hell, GaaNaru would make much more sense."

(pity I lost interest in the Naruto anime after finding out literally half of it is filler. No, really. Someone did the math.)

Now, if this person who's watched every single chapter (fillers included) at least twice reincarnated as Kushina...
