Kitty Ryanhide bio
Author has written 77 stories for Immortals, Tamora Pierce, Discworld, Circle of Magic, Song of the Lioness, Protector of the Small Quartet, Trickster series, Old Kingdom/Abhorsen series, Obernewtyn, Chronicles of Narnia, Doctor Who, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect. This really needed an overhaul. (again.) I'm Kit Ryan, a librarian with a double major in classics and kidlit. I've been writing fanfiction for a ridiculously long time, as you'll see if you scan down to the dire original entries to this site. Tamora Pierce is still the world I most enjoy playing in, but I've also written fic for Isobelle Carmody's Obernewtyn universe, Garth Nix's Old Kingdom, and Terry Pratchett's Monstrous Regiment. In the Tamora Pierce verse, I started out in the Immortals (see, Focus, Here's Looking at You, Kid) and wound my way into Emelan, where I usually stay except when events like Goldenlake's SMACKDOWN (Go Kel/Alanna!) jerk me back into Tortall. I've also dabbled in New Who (Eleven/River...sob) and am currently deeply infatuated with Dragon Age in all its forms. The fic that I'm working on is Speculation, a rather sprawling AU of Magic in the Weaving. The rest of what I submit should either be one-shots or small, completed multi-chapters. The OTHER sprawling AU that I'm working on is Running In Circles, a Tevinter-based Dragon Age thing that brings me great joy despite (or because of?) its ridiculous tropes.
