This series has some really amazing potential. And of course, Dumbledore, being a professor, has no idea how to manage small children (just like in canon, actually).

My only question was how Snape was able to apparate Harry and Bucky from Scotland to California. As I recall, even Voldemort had a range (I believe it was the last book), so I am wondering how Snape pulled it off.

At any rate, I eagerly await to see where you go with this.

In that, this is much like a real-world emergency. Dizzying, disorientating, adrenaline-confusion-panic.
You don't know which way is up, you want it to stop, but in a flash, you find yourself in the center of an atomic kaleidoscope.
The rollers up on the hill CAN'T presage the last time you see them, as you run in panic and tears, snot, desperation, to find that they're gone. Overdosed.
The upside-down car in the intersection CAN'T be your child's as you race to the ambulance. (She was okay.)
"We'll start aggressive chemo and radiation next week" means that there's a plan, there's hope, that things will be alright...right?
