Poll: Okay, a question for my Horizons readers. This is just for fun because I'm curious, but also starting to get too many reviews/PMs to keep a personal tally. A lot of you have been shipping Castalia pretty much since the beginning of this fic, so I'm going to put an option for each character I have seen shipped with her and you can vote for whichever one you're rooting for. Keep in mind, this isn't going to affect the final decision, but it might mean some included moments in the story if I see one that's really popular (within reason and without making the characters OOC). Please vote only once, but otherwise, have at it! Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 3 stories for Final Fantasy VII, Naruto, and Fullmetal Alchemist. This is my self-insert/original character story account. I would like to keep it separate from my other stories, so...yeah. Check out my Tumblr if you want. It's silverforestpen7. News: 8/2/20 Chapter 12 of Horizons is still being worked on, though I have taken some time off to play Pokemon and Friends of Mineral Town. I have also been adding bits and pieces to Ascent, my Fullmetal Alchemist fanfic- hopefully it'll start looking like an actual chapter soon. I'll try to keep you updated. 4/28/20 Chapter 11 is up! I have finished the second half of chapter 10 and have included a bonus chapter. Hope you like it. Current Stories: Final Fantasy 7 Horizons - A self insert/original character story with a twist- Cloud time travels, so he knows what things should be like. Fullmetal Alchemist Ascent - Self-insert/OC story. Protagonist born as the younger sister of Maes Hughes. Takes place during Mustang and the others' era and continues through the canon plot. Naruto Spiral - SI/OC. Protagonist born as the younger cousin of Namikaze Minato. Takes place during Kakashi's era and continues through manga events. Chapter Status: Horizons: Prelude: Complete Act 1: Chapter 1 (Chapter 12 overall): 15% complete Ascent: Chapter 2- 12% complete. Spiral: Chapter 3- 15% complete Future Projects: Compass - Final Fantasy 7 A series of short stories, "what-if?" scenarios, and deleted/alternate scenes relating to Horizons. Anything is fair game. Ripples- Harry Potter "Better be Hufflepuff. I don't know if those words were meant as an encouragement or a curse. Either way, given the fact that I was reborn as Sirius Black's daughter, I sincerely doubted I was going to make it through the next seven years without tossing at least one major plot point out the proverbial window." Hufflepuff!SIOC. Lead up to Hogwarts and continues on through the rest. Journey - Pokemon "You'd think that being in this place would be easy after playing the games for so long, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. I always figured there was more to being a trainer, but this was ridiculous." Starts before canon events and leads into them. Will probably be anime based, but with aspects of the games and Pokemon Special manga thrown in. Drive - Iron Man/Avengers "Being reborn in an alternate Earth wasn't exactly what I had in mind when I went to sleep last night, but I guess if it had to happen, I got lucky in where I turned out. After all, besides the absent parents, genius older brother, and future dangers to worry about, life was a breeze for a Stark." Movie verse, but I might pull a few things from the comics. Currently Contemplating: Crescendo - One Piece You know, it was just my luck, really. To be fair, no one really expects to be reborn into a fictional world, but it figures that I would have to be born years before canon and into a family where I had no hopes of avoiding the butterfly effect. Why did I think that? Well, it was kind of hard NOT to, with a name like Portgas D. Ran. Good thing Luffy will love any kind of adventure, because I probably just threw his original one way off course. Somehow. Starts a pretty good amount of years before canon and continues from there. Starlight - Kingdom Hearts "I loved Disney while growing up, but a real life Donald and Goofy was possibly one of the most terrifying things I've ever seen, and don't even get me started on some of the others." Some initial BBS setup chapters, but the main story takes place from KH1 onward. Hearts- Kingdom Hearts "As poetic as it sounds to be dandelion seeds scattered across the wind, it doesn't mean this is goodbye. It just means we'll have our own path to take before we meet again. And we will. I promise." Starts during the events of KHUX (but doesn't go into too much detail) and continues from there. Maybe: Raindrops - Harry Potter. "You know the scariest thing about finding yourself in the Potterverse? The fact that it's still technically the Earth I grew up on, only no one here knows me. It's like I never existed. Now what am I supposed to do?" Would take place in the Marauder's Era. Prism - Young Justice "The main problem with ending up in the DC universe is that it's near impossible to tell what reality you landed in. The second is figuring out what to do once you do. I'd like to leave it alone and just try to live normally, but seeing as I was now the unexpected owner of a power ring, well...I doubted I was going to get the chance." Cartoon verse with some influence from other DC shows and the comics. Starts before canon events. Possible pairing with either Roy, Wally, or Mystery Hero #95 (there's no significance to the number- that was just me randomly hitting two number keys without looking). Gravity - Star Wars Summary Pending Takes place in the movie-verse, with elements of the books of the EU thrown in. Only episodes 1-6, though. Episode 7 and onward will be disregarded completely. Probably Not (but fun to think about): Mana - World of Warcraft "Of course...It figured, really...Damn it, do they know how many times I've died in this game? A good fighter this girl does not make, much less when I can't spam attack keys anymore." Spirit - Dragon Ball "Of all the places I could have ended up, this was definitely not one I'd considered. It also wasn't one I felt I was prepared for, despite being familiar with it. I mean, how could I EVER feel prepared when I realized that ridiculously powerful aliens were going to threaten my new life? Multiple times. Still...I had to at least try, right?" Starts off in the Dragon Ball era and goes through to the end of the Buu saga. Pairing is with Goku. |
