I never much liked that guy - not my usual brand of crazy - but the way you write him is amusing, despite everything. The way he and Hidan interact is... straining, I guess. I wouldn't want to be around them for too long :)

The change in perspective was pretty interesting, especially in order to see how Kiba's doing, and how well he managed to blend into Akatsuki. It seems he is believable - the anger conceals a lot, and it helps that he is absolutely telling the truth when it comes to topics like Akamaru. He doesn't want him with him, it's easy as that, even though the reason might be different.

I was wondering. If Hinata and Shino and the others knew about Danzo's supposed actions, they would definitely take Kiba's side. But I guess these kind of things were hidden - with Danzo being a major character and important and keeping up pretenses and stuff - so they probably weren't told. But the rumors ought to find them, at one point, and I doubt they'll stop looking for him. While, that. Sasuke just defected. Kiba actually /killed/ someone. That's... a lot. Unless they know all the circumstances I doubt they'd understand, and knowing everything would also include knowing about Konoha's deepest, most-hidden and forgotten secrets.
But oh, I hope the day Kiba can go back home and also /feel/ back home will come!

I'm not sure if you read these reviews any more, but I actually love this little series so much that I had to leave something.
The way you write the Akatsuki dynamics is actually amazing, and you manage to capture emotions so perfectly. Your plot and ideas are always coherent, imaginative and quite simply, everything pulls together so well.

I'd love to see more, if you're interested in writing more of this - if not, then what you've already written is still fantastic and I think you should be so proud of your skill as an author. You've got me hooked on your writing skill.
