Magical Devices that Harry owns in The Boy and the Beginning so far:

Consi gohedge slippers- has the ability to make people run at super-speed.

Toh Teef Maracas- has the ability to make opponents dance the flamingo while maracas are being shaken.

Cat's Cradle Gloves-has the ability to weave any substance in to form of choice.

Gillyweed- from canon, has the ability to give eater the ability to breath under water for one hour in fresh water and an hour and a half in salt water.

The Nokmey Brand-a brand that permanently gives one a monkey tail.

Omega Bracelet- when worn it allows the wearer to be immune to electrical based attacks, spells, or natural or man-made electricity.

Gemini Needle- when a user pricks their finger with the Gemini needle, it creates a double from 3 drops of the user's blood. The user can use their double to do certain activities that the original don't have time to, and when the user touches their double, it dissipates the double and the memories from the double will be absorbed by the user's mind,

The Perrier Cup- this 250ml cup has the ability to continuously refill with any liquid that was poured into it beforehand.

Portkyn Patch- this eye patch gives the wearer the ability to see through walls with whatever eye is covered.

Chaplin Suspenders- gives the wearer the ability to conform one's body to whatever space, no matter how small or awkward.

The Nogad Earrings- induces disinterest in all those who happen to look at the wearer of the earrings until they are removed.

Magical Preservation Jars- preserves anything put into it and is unbreakable.

The Crane Satchel- based off of Hermione's moeskin pouch from canon, given to Harry by a goddess in china.

The Peach Pits- a small bag of fast growing peach pits that once removed form the bag and tossed onto the ground will grow a tree of magical pears that can survive in practically every climate and environment, given to Harry by a Chinese goddess.

Sometime early fall- Harry, 8 yrs old when he flies for the first time escaping his cousin.

Mid-April- Harry, 8 yrs old, discovers Lifting.

End of May- Harry, 8 yrs old, Harry leaves Privet Dr.

June - Harry, 8 yrs old, pace-floating somewhere between Salfords and Tonbridge, comes up with the idea to try shrinking and enlarging things.

June- Harry, 8 yrs old, stops in Cranbrook perfecting his shrinking/enlarging powers completely, calling is Sized or Sizing.

June- Harry, 8 yrs old, leaves Cranbrook.

June- Harry, 8 yrs old, arrives in Wick.

June- Harry, 8 yrs old, leaves Wick, crossing the English Channel.

June- Harry, 8 yrs old, arrives in France and meets Ragnarock, a Goblin.

June-Harry, 8 yrs old, leaves the Goblin’s cave, heading further inland into France.

July 4th- Harry, 8 yrs old, a week after the goblin encounter and still in France, Harry decides to keep a journal.

December 20th- Spain, Harry gets lost in a storm and stumbles across a hidden castle without a door, and later is lured to a get together of five Abnormals.

December 31st – Jan 1st- Abdundancia, where Harry spent the New Year’s eve.

January 6th-Harry watched an Epiphany Parade, unmentioned city.

January 11th- Harry decides to follow a road, the A-42. He eventually makes a stop by an old abandoned villa , meets Tigger, and gains the HappyFeet Curse.

January 13th- Huelva, Harry is attacked and turns someone one into a penguin for the first time. It is also the first time that Harry, unknowingly sees a wizard, though in messege form.

Between January 14th-April 14th - Harry randomly explores Spain.

April second week, Cadiz, Spain, Harry 9yrs old, bords a ferry, and sneaks onto the first island in his visit to the Canary Islands.

April 14th – May 9th- on the island of Algrandza, develops body bubble.

May 9th- arrives on the second island, Isla Graciosa.

May 9th-May 14- stays on Isla Graciosa, wins second place in a fishing competition.

May 14th- May 20th- stays on Isla Lanzarote, location of second use of the Happy Feet curse on a camel, watches a music video being made, and learns to make some of the local cuisine.

May 20th- June 3rd - explores other Canary Islands before he abruptly leaves after his encounter with the man in the sky.

June 3rd - Arrives in Ghana on the continent of Africa.

June 4th- Harry is in a small unnamed village 25 miles along a smaller river that fed into the larger river which in turn fed into Lake Volta, where he stays in a forest just outside.

June 9th – 12th- he has adventure with the giant Spider god, and then leaves the area the next day.

June 13th- September 13th- Harry spends the rest of this time exploring Africa. Harry also turns 10 during that time.

September 13th-Harry is on an island of the coast of Tunsinia, and is kidnapped by the Giant Penguin and Arrives at Rhubarbs Vault.

September 13th – October 13th Harry is forced toured at the Vault before he eventually is released.

October 14th – October 16th, Harry is camping on the Island of Pantelleria, part of Italy.

October 16th – February 16th, Harry explores Sicily.

February 16th- Harry gets taken by the Kraken.

February 17th- Harry accidentally ends up in the mysterious place/dimension of the Trials.

March 19th- Harry is 10, comes out in Crimea.

April 10th- Harry is in Iran, has his eyes magically fixed.

May 10th- Harry is hiking in Tajikstan.

May 12- Harry is at the boarder between Turkmenistan and China and witnesses the mating flight of the Peryton.

July 5-November 15- Harry spends this time in the Heavenly Palace. During this time he turns 11 and misses his letter to Hogwarts.

December 27- May 31- Harry is 11, in South Korea, during that period he encounters some ghosts, and enters another Hidden Place of Bear People where he undergoes a new ritual during his time trapped there and gains the ability to turn into a golden bear.

May 31-June 30- Harry is 11, on his last day in South Korea he gets his ears pierced and uses the Nomgad Earrings, He travels through the Philippines and encounters another cannon character, Harry observes the Scout Rangers, Harry is mistaken for a bird by a Cafre named Lurl and a talking parrot named Ferdis and Harry finds out about the Bird Conspiracy.

July 1-August 27- Harry goes to Indonesia, turns 12 years old. He yet again misses his Hogwarts letter, has some close encounters with some ghosts, a deceptive pond, and tries his hand at a new fishing technique.

Missing Chap: Harry goes to Vietnam where he encounters ghosts, and 3 local Deities running a restaurant.

August 31-October 3: Harry age 12, goes to Papua New Guinea. Brief encounter with the Birds of Paradise, develops freezing ability. Takes off in a waga (boat) towards his next destination.

October 4:Harry, Age 12. Goes to Australia where he encounters Charlie Weasley, Umbridge has an encounter with Vegemite, Harry gets caught in a rockfall, gets eaten by a giant snake and ends up traveling through the Dream Time (called The Dream). he meets various characters from Australian Aboriginal myths, folktales, movies, as well as a figure from an American TV series "The Storyteller." Harry eventually manages to escape The Dream using the hub of the Multiverse through the help of a pair of dimensional scissors and a pink pony.

December 1st: Harry, Age 12. Arrives in the Northern most reaches of Canada in the province of the Northwest Territories in the Arctic Circle. He is currently holed up in a Hidden Place, a Tavern called The Stopover, run by the descendant of the famous Paul Bunyon.

Greetings! in this section you will find the various info, messages and links related to my newest fic, Arrival at Dusk, a HP/MLP crossover.

Cast of Arrived At Dusk

(in no particular order).

Here you will find characters as they appear in order in the story, both made up and canon. The list will be updated as the story goes along, and the character descriptions also added to, as Dusk’s relationships with the other characters grows throughout the fic.

Dusk- once known as Harry Potter, he arrives in Equestria through accidental magic. In his first magical trial during the incident with Nightmare Moon, he slips away secretly and raises the sun with his magic.

Species: Once human wizard, now Alicorn. Black mane and tail, Silver body, no cutie mark.

Flower Petal- Old mare, the keeper of a Hostel for wayward Ponies who takes Dusk in after his first month of arrival. She acts as a grandmotherly figure of a sort.

Species: Earth Pony, faded yellow pelt with brown and orange mane and tail in traditional earth pony bun of a family matriarch. Cutie Mark is a house shape inside a heart.

Brew Bag- Dusk’s mentor, he’s a distant cousin to Flower Petal and took him on as an apprentice. He runs a successful tea shop, and is often mentioned in passing throughout the story by Dusk as a sort of adventurer that travels all around seeking ingredients for his teas.

Species: Earth Pony, dark Brown pelts with salt and pepper caramel coloured mane and tail, a robust body and mutton chops. Cutie Mark is a golden Tea Pot.

Conductor Pony- not described, from the cannon.

Hard Mead- owns the Prancing Butterfly, an inn in Ponyville (non-cannon), where Dusk stays briefly while he is sorting out his new shop and home.

Species: Earth Pony, who has a plump figure with tan mane, tail, and pelt with a barrel on tap and a small bed as a cutie mark.

Twilight Sparkle: MLP canon character, also one of the Mane 6.She was the first he ever actually spoke to of the Mane 6, though not the first he meets. they share occasional get togethers and talk about books and magic. Refer to http:///wiki/Twilight_Sparkle for specifics on her from the show.

Spike: MLP cannon character, Twlight’s assistant, refer to http:///wiki/Spike for specifics on him from the show.

Pinky Pie- MLP cannon character, also one of the Mane 6, and Dusk’s technical first encounter of the group, though no words were exchanged. she is also in a sort of compitition where she tries to host a welcome party for Dusk and he skillfully avoids them. Sweetie Bell- MLP cannon character, also one of the 3 Cutie Mark Crusaders, the first of that group he meets when she sells him some supplies for his tea table. Refer to http:///wiki/Sweetie_Belle for specifics on her from the show.

Applejack- MlP cannon character, also one of the Mane 6. She and Dusk shared a space together at the town hall during the summer sun celebration and struck up an informal contract for Dusk’s apple based needs. In the story, she brags that she has the strongest bladder in town and drank Derpy and Pinky under the table. Fluttershy- MLP cannon character, also one of the Mane 6. Applejack mentions to him that the two would get along well, as they both appreciate a quiet setting when Dusk watches her conducting birds during the second chapter. Mayor Mare- MLP cannon character, the Mayor of the town. Dusk watches her give a speech during the second chapter. Refer to http:///wiki/Mayor_Mare for specifics on her from the show.

Rarity- MLP cannon character, also one of the Mane 6. She is the older sister of Sweetie Belle and the owner of the store that Dusk gets his table decorations from as well as the pony to shriek out Celetsia has disappeared. Dusk and she share one day weekly meetings talking about Canterlot and she is always unsuccessful as yet in getting him to agree to a make over. Nightmare Moon/Luna- MLP cannon character, the first villain in both the MLP series and this story to appear. She was once Princess Luna, younger sister to Princess Celestia, and god-like figure of the night, who was exiled to the moon for hundred years when she became twisted by dark forces. She interrupts the festivities by taking Princess Celestia’s place at the Summer Sun celebration in chapter two and in the cannon pilot episode. Dusk senses her arrival magically, and battles her by secretl raising the sun against her wishes. She is unaware that Dusk is behind it. Big Macintosh- MLP cannon character, brother to Applejack. He takes care of Dusk during the incident with Nightmare Moon, and keeps his involvement a secret. Refer to http:///wiki/Big_McIntosh for specifics on him from the show.

Granny Smith- MLP cannon character, grandmother and patriarch of the Apple family. Refer to http:///wiki/Granny_Smith for specifics on her from the show.

Applebloom- MLP cannon character, sister to Applejack and one of the 4 cutie mark crusaders. Refer to http:///wiki/Apple_Bloom for specifics on her from the show.

Princess Celestia- MLP cannon character, the titular ruler of Equestria, immortal and raises the sun during the day, and the moon during the night while her sister, Luna/Nightmare Moon was exiled on the moon. The Snake Family- a family of snakes that were the cause of the cow stampede in cannon MLP. in this fiction, they move into Dusk's garden and on occasion a female adult snake that is nameless so far will accompany Dusk.

Species: rare breed, yet unnamed.

The Shawl- the Shawl is a partially sentient piece of clothware that Dusk stole off a laundry line in his first days as a pony to hide his wings and through spells and such over the years turned partially reactive and sentient, or the magic embedded in it anyway, and mainly reacts to Dusk's desire to keep his flank hidden.

Rainbow Dash- MLP canon character and one of the Mane 6. she was somewhat dubious over the notion of drinking tea, but ends up being one of Dusk's best customers when she is told by Dusk about how the Wonderbolts buy and drink a certain tea that helps them in their flying.For more information on her refer to My Little Pony Wiki website.

Glad Giggles- owner of the Ponyville Joke Shop. the shop itself is part of MLP canon, but the owner is never said, so he is a briefly mentioned OC character for the fic and remains undescribed.

Gilda- MLP cannon character and friend of Rainbow Dash from childhood and a Griffin. Her culture and ranking was made up for the purposes of the fic. she and Dusk had a battle when Dusk didn't like how she was treating other ponies and won the battle without magic. Trixie- MLP cannon character, a recurring antagonist mainly for Twilight Sparkle from the series. Dusk briefly attends a few shows but his turned off by her attitude and the potential trouble she could cause him. He successfully avoids contact with her. Zecora- MLP cannon character that Dusk meets in the Everfree forest and a Zebra. her culture and society is made up for the purposes of the story. she talks in rhyme and the two exchange recipes and she teaches him a few things about the local flora and fauna of the Everfree Forrest. they meet during the Trixie incident. she also is somewhat feared by Ponyville. Unnamed Dragon from Chapter 8- MLP cannon character that takes up residence in a mountain lair and cause havoc with his smoke and ash making snoring. For more information refer to the episode the chap is based on.

Derpy Hooves- MLP Cannon character and favorite fan character. she works as a Mail pony in this fic (something that's a part of headcannon for many fans) and helps Rainbow Dash part time with the weather, and works part-time at the Tea Cozy. she often takes responsibility for the store when Dusk has to leave to gather ingredients and such. She won third place in the young flyers competition in chapter 12. For more information on her refer to My Little Pony Website.

Cherry Drop- A unicorn Oc in the fic that has a hoof on the fruit produce industry outside of apples in Ponyville and makes pies for Dusk's shop. The two are casual friends and she has run in the Annual running of the Leaves.

Cheerily- MLP canon character who teaches the foals and was second place in the running of the leaves for the purpose of the fic. For more information on her refer to My Little Pony Wiki Website.

Zephyr- An OC character for the story, a Sphinx teaching the culture class for a month who takes a shine to Macintosh. He is a celebrity that is modeled after Gildroy Lockheart (though not a fraud) from HP cannon and physically modeled from the Sphinx from Disney's Hercules animated series, whose picture i happened upon in Google images (though that character is also a game show host).

Caramel Apple- One of the numerous Apple Family relatives mentioned in passing in chapter 10, and part of cannon. For more information on him, refer to My Little Pony Wiki Website.

Opalescence or Opal- MLP cannon character who is Rarity's pet cat and winner of the Tea Cozy most frequent customer award in the fic. For more information on her refer to My Little Pony Website.

Soarin- MLP cannon character who is a member of the Wonderbolts. he enjoys apple pie (a cannon feature) and is up for potential promotion as Captain of the Wonderbolts when Spitfire retires. In this fic he is interested in other stallions as has had other relationships before. in this fic, he is one of Dusk's potential suitors. For more information on him refer to My Little Pony Website. Spitfire- MLP cannon character who is a member and captain of the Wonderbolts. For more information on her refer to My Little Pony Website.

Shotgun- Oc character and member of the Wonderbolts. He is part of Soarin's unit and one of his good friends and often gets into trouble with Captain Spitfire.

Species: Pegasus, brown and blue swirly pelt and stripped mane in a similar style to Soarin. same age, early twenties or so. his cutie mark is a starter pistol.

Misty Fly- OC character and member of the Wonderbolts. She is part of Soarin's unit. she is often fighting with Rapidfire and is rather hotty and a bit like Rarity.

Species: Pegasus, Blue-white pelt with yellow white mane and a cloud with a crown over it for a cutie mark.

Rapidfire- MLP cannon character who is a member of the Wonderbolts and part of Soarin's unit. in the fic she has a hidden crush on Shotgun nad often gets into tiffs with Misty Fly.For more information on her refer to My Little Pony Wiki Website.

Braeburn- MLP canon character who is a sort of spokes-pony for Appleloosa. in the fic he is a distant cousin of Applejack and joined the Buffalo tribe during the great migration for a cultural exchange. For more information on him refer to My Little Pony Wiki Website.

Strong Heart- MLP cannon character who is a calf from a Buffalo Tribe and the celestial daughter (goddaughter) of Dusk. she is currently staying in Appleloosa to promote understanding of Buffalo. For more information on her refer to My Little Pony Website.

Chief Thunderhooves- the leader of the Thunderhooves Buffalo Tribe. For more information on him refer to My Little Pony Website.

Luscious Locks- an OC briefly mentioned pony that owns a top class hair salon and worked on Soarin in prepping him for his big night. no distinguishing features mentioned.

Hoity Toity- A minor character from cannon, he is a earth pony that is a major representative of the fashion world from Canterlot in cannon. in the fic, he is briefly mentioned by Spitfire, and the pony that outfit's Soarin for the Galloping Gala. Bronco Brothers- the group of Earth Pony siblings that have crushes on Rarity. They were a group of unnamed, unexplained ponies in cannon for the final episode of season, just fleshed out slightly in this fic.

Discord- a main antagonist from MLP cannon, he is confronted by Voldemort, who actually likes how Discord runs things, just not messing with what is his and was indirectly defeated by him. For more information on him please refer to MLP Wiki.

Voldemort Horcrux-the soul shard of the dark lord, HP cannon character. in this fic, he is much more sentient and mature. he is awakened from his sort of slumber by Discord's re-emergence. He is possessive of Dusk, and the two share a mind together. He returns to Dusk's subconscious and Dusk remains unaware of the events that transpired during Discord's brief little romp.

Gauzy- an OC Medi-pony that works in the castle modeled after other medical mares in the MLP canon series.

species: a Unicorn with a pale pinkish white pelt and red mane and tail in a bun with a First Aide cross for a cutie mark.

Flim and Flam Brothers- cannon characters from MLP-verse. they are twin unicorn brothers who are swindlers that tried to take the Apple farm through a bet with an apple cider making machine. Harry, unhappy with their presence, incites Voldemort to rise and scare the brothers into competing fairly, unbeknownst to Harry.

Fruit Salad- OC unicorn pony that is a cousin to Cherry Drop and works at the Tea Cozy. Her cutie mark is a bowl of fruit.

Rapid Feather and Swish Feather- OC twin pegusi ponies that are part of the Wonderbolts.

Husky Tracks- OC unicorn pony of a rather hefty, though all muscled girth with a charcoal and steam white coloured mane and a tannish pelt with a red train as a cutie mark. He's head of the Ponyville train station and Soarin's first handler.

Tracks siblings- OC earth ponies: Buck, Gritty, Whistle who was the oldest and the leader for the train pullers, and the youngest, Iron. All children of Husky Tracks and train pullers.

Since I have been told i have been getting names mixed up, I thought I would keep a bit of a cast list for my fic "Grey in the Stars."

Characters

Harry Potter- Also known as Harry Grey now, main protagonist.

General Hammond- Head of SGC, meets Harry before he takes over the Stargate program.

Goblins- creatures that run the Wizard banks who take Harry in for a time to train and prepare him for his new identity.

Voldemort- The Dark Lord, main antagonist from the HP canon, but here strikes a truce with HP, and assists to a certain extent in preparing Harry.

Major Gregory Howsly- one of Harry's drill sergeants while he's a cadet.

Ferdinand "Ferdy" Whirlton- A roommate of Harry's, who is like Percy in many ways except that he is brilliant in computers and doesn't suck up to his superiors. he comes from a military family background.

Manuel "Manny" Jenksy- A roommate of Harry's who is fun loving, likes to tease and play pranks, though nothing serious enough to get him in to much trouble. He has a father who is a high-school science teacher.

Colonel Johnathan. J. O’Neill, or Jack as he prefers- leader of SG1, one of the main leads from canon, snarky, and in this fic is the one who brings Harry into the SGC under the new 2 year probationary Universal Solider Program.

Private Josephine Hardtack, just call me Joe- Harry's bunk-mate and fellow Universal Soldier team member. She specializes in languages, lie Daniel Jackson, and also has a slight crush on the man.

Private Haily- Harry's bunk-mate and fellow Universal Soldier team member. character from canon, who was recruited by Carter into the Universal Solider program, and unlike her fellow teammates, was aware of the SGC already before the offer was made, and had already been through the Stargate. She is a Science Genius much like Carter whom she secretly idolizes and has a crush on.

Major Samantha Carter- A main character from canon, she is a member of SG1 and a Scientist.

Teal'c- a main character from canon and is a member of SG1. He is a Jaffa, an alien that turned on his false gods and now works with SG1 against the goa'uld in the hopes to one day free his fellow Jaffa from tyranny. He takes an interest in Harry, and eventually takes him as his apprentice.

Dr. Daniel Jackson: A main character from canon, he is a member of SG1 and an archeologist.

Captain Tyler- OC leader of SG12, and one of the drill instructors for the Universal Solider program at SGC. not to be mistaken for Lt. Tyler from S5 E4.

Dr. Frasier- a character from canon, she is the head of medicine at SGC.

SG7- from canon, primarily Scientific and Medical unit under Major Long,the group that Hailey was assigned to for training through the Stargate.

SG15- from canon, under Lt. Graham, an exploratory team that Joe is assigned to for training through the Stargate.

SG5- from canon, under Major Altman, a marine combat unit when not sent out on combat missions that Fan is assigned to for training through the Stargate.

SG11- from canon, an archeological and scientific team under Cpt. Conner whom Harry first joins for training before joining Sg1.

Bra'tac of Chulak- Teal'c's old mentor from canon.

Asguard- from canon, little grey aliens that are one of the four great races in the galaxy, from canon.

Apophis- from canon, Main antagonist from early canon seasons. he was Teal'c's old master, and also stole Daniel's wife, implanting her with Amunet, his mate. he was also the one Harry used to confirm that his parseltounge was effective on symbiotes.

Amunet/Sha're- from canon, Daniel's wife and the goa'uld mate of Apophis, who eventually dies at Teal'c's hands ot save Daniel.

Martouf- a character from canon, A Tok'ra that spends the most time with SGC as a contact outside of Carter's father who is also a Tok'ra. He was a semi-love interest of Carter's because she had briefly hosted his mate, Jolinar, and contains some of the symbiote's memories.

Sokar- a character from canon, Goa'uld version of the Devil.

Dr. Rowley- a character from canon, undercover Tok'ra who helped SG1 when they were captured by a goa'uld, and the first Tok'ra that Harry meets face to face.

Hathor- a character from canon, a system lord that kidnaps sg1 and whom Harry killed using his parceltounge ability.

Cronus- a character from canon, A Goa'ould system lord. Teal'c has a large grudge with this one on account of him killing his father and swore an oath of revenge to destroy. Cronus also has an interest in Harry and seeks to one day aquire him for his own.

Yu-Huang Shang Ti, the Jade Emperor- a character from canon, A system Lord and one of the oldest Goa'uld alive. He partially helps SG1 from time to time for his own ends.

Neriti- a character from canon, ruthless even by goa'uld standards and was behind a botched assassination attempt on Cronus during a summit at SGC, caught by Harry.

Thor-a character from canon, a member of the asguard and a close friend of Jack's. He also became aware of Harry's magical abilities when Harry came down with the Wizard's flu and used his magic, as well as being the recipient of a powerful potion of Harry's that saved his life. At the moment, he is keeping the encounter secret from the other asguard.

Rough time frame

When he is recruited into the Universal Soilder program, HP is almost 18 years old.

By Chapter 8, 5 months since he joined up have past and he is a little under 18 and a half.
