Oh my God. I can't stop crying. For the past two chapters I've been lying in bed outright sobbing while reading. I feel like my heart is breaking. Despite not being properly finished, I am so grateful for every word that you posted, and for giving us an ending. This is one of the best stories I've ever read- EVER. It truly gripped my heart and captured my attention from beginning to end. Thank you so much for writing this. I can't think of a single thing that I would change. Honestly brilliant. Bravo.

Alright, I'm so in love with this story. I love how you describe Bilbo's sensual experiences, especially with Thorin. You are a very gifted writer. I look forward to reading more.

I still really enjoy the story, except for the dialogue. I don't like that she says exactly the same things as in canon. She's such a different person, so the fact that she says all the same things is highly unlikely and a bit boring. But the rest is really interesting.

I really like your idea, but I'm disappointed that you didn't give her a proper female name and kept it as Bilbo. I'm also disappointed that she said the exact same things to Gandalf as Bilbo in the movies did, rather than something different, since she is a fundamentally different person as a female.

Well I'm definitely crying. When she refuses to leave Fili's body, tears just started and never stopped, damn you. The plot twist of him not loving Kili kind of broke me. It seemed like all your story ideas became a bit darker after that (not saying they were bad though!), and while I'm not a stickler for the Fili/Kili ship, I just suddenly felt so bad for them both.

I'm sad you didn't finish the story, especially after getting my hopes up with the long barrage of updates, but I appreciate that you posted the remaining outline. I understand when people don't want to continue with their stories, but I hate when they just leave it at that after I've spent hours devoting myself to their characters. So yeah, thank you.

The epilogue was lovely. I'm choosing to believe they all got to meet Frodo, even if that wasn't what you were impling would happen, because it makes my heart hurt less. My one regret is never being able to read the written smut scene with all 3 Durins because you wrote the previous ones so well, no tackiness, no cliché, and a healthy amount of emotion mixed in with sex. It's nice to know it would have happened eventually, regardless of the whole thing with Kili. (Also, so happy he would have given her a braid and accepted her.)

I just wanted to finish this long review by saying that, despite it having been years since I first read this story, once I saw all the updates I knew exactly what it was for. This story was wonderful to read and I loved the concept of synesthesia being used to flirt. Thanks for writing this!

I'm confuse with your story, I don't like it and I don't dislike it too.
But I feel a little sickness and I don't understand exactly why.
You write well, characters are ok, plot is fantastic, I have any problem with slash/moresome/incest/and sex in general (in fiction !)
Perhaps is with bilbo situation . Your second or third chapter, the one with dwarf meeting, is the worst for me. Because bilbo was bullied by everyone and had any problems with that. Bilbo is a victim and it is normal.
After, I have the feeling she can't choose his life. She just follow orders, situation or feeling of her body.
She really suffer her body 's sensations.
Story begin with a "good gentle hobbit" became red so easily. And continues fast and without transition with sex. Your sex scenes are very good () but you lost me.
I don't hate or just dislike your bilbo, but when I put me on her place I want to cry hysterical !
I don't understand her, her environment and her choice.
I hope this comment isn't too harsh. It's long but not because there are many problems, no it's because I can't really explain myself.
And I read 18 chapters, not bad at all
