as someone who has worked construction, I'm very aware of both sides of the argument: 1) OSHA doesn't know how to do my job and some of their requirements are insane and it angers me that they take it upon themselves to regulate what the have not sufficiently studied. conversely 2) while it's easy to debatenegotiate risk assessmentsafety protocol with my immediate superior, i'd hate to work in a country where people farther up the chain could dictate cost cutting policies at the expense of my safety.

As a demisexual, and a friend if several, I appreciate seeing the portrayal of a character *willing* to respect that about her friend, even if she's not entirely as *capable* of respecting it as she might prefer.

This is the best kind of love story. A meeting of the minds where lust is almost completely put out of the equation with a foundation of respect and a constant exchange of beliefs. One of my favorite things is that Enjolras sees “Cosette” for exactly who she is, and even if he doesn’t always like her he’s always angry on her behalf when others don’t give her the respect she deserves. I love that they inspire each other to affect change on as large a scale as possible and approach matters in such different ways

This brighten my day! It's one of many fav fics you have written! So many emotions going on, the slowly relationship between cosette and enjolras, after a long period of it being strained. To see that they are working on better it is always heartwarming.
The talks and how they pair as intellectuals & in a manner spiritually is awesome. Cosette has her memories from a future beyond reach but it shows how ahead of his time enjolras is.

I really appreciate the realistic tone of the story and how unromantic you made it, because in a romance story, they would’ve fallen in love while exchanging ideas or something. I really like how you plugged the IC in the story and made the classic take your own, an unique storyline that captivated me.
