I don't if you will come back to this story but take a wierd route.
Make Kagome stay with Tobirama and Kagami.
This is unsual, usualy its the who get more than one wife. But I think it can work.
A Senju and a Uchiha. In canon Tobieama liked him and didn't care he was a uchiha.
I'm not saying to make then a yaoi couple, but would be nice see both with her and having a family with her.

In Konoha things will get less tense with Madara and Hashirama without Tobirama there.
Hashira is wierd and have crazy ideias but i think Madara can balance him like Tobirama do.
