Author has written 42 stories for Harry Potter, Merlin, Doctor Who, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Homestuck, Bible, Uglies, Black Magician Trilogy, Wicked Lovely, Last Dragon Chronicles, Artemis Fowl, Greek Mythology, Sherlock, Glee, and Supernatural. I have been meaning to write fanfiction for several months, but have been sadly hampered by a total lack of anything else to do. Fortunately, I have recently begun university and can now begin procrastinating in earnest, so let the fanfic begin. So far I have discovered that I am unusually loath to break canon in my fics, that I really wish that "Soliloquy" was a genre, and that people who leave reviews deserve a million (imaginary) cookies. In the interests of catching up on the many great ideas I have had and also participating in NaNoWriMo without losing track of my university work or my sanity, I am planning on completing 25,000 (update: it's going well, so I've upped the goal to 50,000) words of (various short stories, most of which will be) fanfiction this November. All NaNoWriMo fanfics will be uploaded immediately to this website (warning: proof-reading unlikely). Feel free to keep track of my progress/suggest new story ideas/point out spelling mistakes to be fixed in December. Progress as of November 30th: 30 days. 35 completed story chapters. 51328 words. Update: I WON NANOWRIMO WRITING FANFICTION. It was awesome. The stats: I spent 30 days writing every free minute to reach a total of 51328 words with 4 hours left on the clock. I completed 35 chapters in 20 stories (5 of them unfinished) spanning 12 different fandoms. Writing occured in 5 separate locations with the help of 2 write-in partners and dozens of people pressured to come up with new prompts. I probably would have quit 8 times if it wasn't for the 69 wonderfully encouraging reviews you guys posted. You all receive 1000 Internet hugs. So, I should probably let you know that my primary account is now on AO3. I'll be cross-posting here when I remember to, but some fics may not appear here. I'm sorry to go. But on AO3, "soliloquy" really is a tag. Catch you on the flip side. |
